Abstract

Kemampuan berbicara di depan umum adalah keterampilan penting dalam pendidikan, dunia profesional, dan kehidupan sosial. Public speaking tidak hanya mengandalkan pesan verbal, tetapi juga komunikasi nonverbal seperti ekspresi wajah dan gestur tubuh yang mendukung kejelasan pesan dan menarik perhatian audiens. Kajian ini menggunakan studi kepustakaan untuk menelaah literatur terkait komunikasi nonverbal, psikologi persepsi, dan strategi berbicara di depan umum. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa ekspresi wajah yang sesuai dengan pesan dan gestur yang tepat dapat meningkatkan kredibilitas, memperkuat makna, serta membangun koneksi emosional dengan audiens. Kesalahan dalam penggunaan ekspresi dan gestur dapat menurunkan efektivitas komunikasi serta menimbulkan kesan negatif. Penguasaan teknik ini perlu dikembangkan melalui kesadaran diri dan latihan reflektif agar komunikasi terasa lebih tulus, alami, dan berdampak. Teknik berbicara berbasis ekspresi dan gestur merupakan bagian penting dari komunikasi efektif yang perlu diasah secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This article examines the role of digital libraries in increasing students' reading interest, especially in the context of the digital era full of information. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with library research as the basis. The analysis was conducted by collecting information from various sources, including books, journal articles, and online sources, to explore the benefits and challenges of digital libraries in promoting reading interest. The results of the study indicate that digital libraries offer various advantages, such as easy access, diverse collections, advanced search features, and interactive features that support the reading experience. In addition, digital libraries play a role in improving digital literacy, facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing, and encouraging a stronger reading culture among students. However, challenges such as limited internet access and difficulties in adapting to technology need to be overcome. In conclusion, digital libraries have great potential to increase students' reading interest and strengthen the quality of education. This study suggests the need for training and development programs to maximize the benefits of digital libraries and overcome existing challenges

Abstract

This article investigates the genealogical roots of Sunni hermeneutic criticism directed at the esoteric exegesis (tafsir batiniyah) practiced by Shia sects, as articulated by Shaykh Abdul Halim Mahmud, the Grand Shaykh of Al-Azhar. Through a qualitative literature review, this study analyzes Mahmud’s critique of Shia interpretive authority rooted in the concept of infallible Imams and inner meanings of the Qur’an. Mahmud’s stance differentiates between extreme and moderate Shia groups, emphasizing epistemological divergence in their approach to scripture. Rather than adopting a polemical tone, Mahmud applies a systematic theological evaluation that aligns with Sunni hermeneutic principles. His position contributes to a more nuanced understanding of intra-Islamic discourse by rejecting blanket takfir while preserving doctrinal boundaries. This study finds that Mahmud’s critical approach not only offers a model of balanced inter-sectarian engagement but also reinforces the importance of textual integrity and rational interpretation in Qur’anic scholarship.

Abstract

Permasalahan ketersediaan air bersih masih menjadi tantangan utama bagi masyarakat di Desa Mulya sari, Kecamatan Tanjung Lago, Kabupaten Banyuasin. Masyarakat umumnya menggunakan air sumur dan sungai sebagai sumber utama, namun kualitas air dari kedua sumber tersebut kerap tidak memenuhi standar kelayakan untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, dirancang dan diimplementasikan sebuah sistem monitoring dan penyaringan air otomatis berbasis Arduino uno, yang dapat mendeteksi dan menyaring air secara mandiri berdasarkan parameter kualitas air. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor Water level untuk mengetahui level air pada penampungan pertama pada air keruh, sensor turbidity untuk mengukur kekeruhan, sensor TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) untuk mengukur kadar zat terlarut, sensor suhu untuk memantau parameter kualitas air, sensor flow untuk mengetahui laju air yang di alirkan, serta sensor ultrasonic untuk mengukur level air pada penampungan kedua pada air bersih. Data yang diperoleh dari sensor diolah oleh Arduino Uno dan ditampilkan melalui antarmuka menggunakan lcd 16x4. Selain itu, sistem dilengkapi dengan mekanisme penyaringan otomatis yang dioperasikan berdasarkan data sensor, sehingga dapat menyesuaikan proses filtrasi secara mandiri. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efektivitas penyaringan air dan memberikan informasi kualitas air secara akurat. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat memberikan solusi bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan akses terhadap air bersih yang terpantau dan terjamin kualitasnya. Ketika nilai sensor menunjukkan kualitas air di bawah ambang batas, sistem secara otomatis mengaktifkan pompa dan menyalurkannya ke sensor flow lalu di di filter dengan menggunakan filter sederhana. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan adanya penurunan nilai TDS dari 778 ppm menjadi 511,3 ppm dan nilai turbidity dari 34 NTU menjadi 25,6 NTU, yang masih dalam rentang standar air bersih menurut Permenkes No. 492 Tahun 2010. Penerapan sistem ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kualitas air, tetapi juga efisiensi waktu dan tenaga masyarakat, serta mendorong kesadaran akan pentingnya air bersih. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi teknologi tepat guna yang dapat direplikasi dan dikembangkan lebih luas di lingkungan pedesaan untuk mendukung ketahanan air dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Human life continues to change, develop, and produce new orders. In the end, the new order gave birth to life in today's digital public space. Digital public space is developing towards a better life. . The development of technology in digital public space rise to many problems. These various problems give rise to challenges in digital public space. The development of public space is so rapid on the one hand, but not the others.  This situation creates challenges in public spaces that are difficult to address. The relatively low level of education have basic challenges. And another problem is the awareness that public space has positive and negative impacts that need to be widely known. and understood by the community. Public space awareness can harm oneself, others, and society to the state needs to be properly realized. Awareness of negative risks after experiencing something bad, very detrimental to oneself and one's family. Awareness of responsible public space need to be continuously socialized so that public space can run well

Abstract

Di tengah persaingan bisnis logistik yang semakin ketat, pemasaran digital menjadi salah satu kunci penting untuk mempertahankan eksistensi dan menarik minat konsumen. J&T Cargo Cabang Wonocolo sebagai bagian dari jaringan layanan pengiriman barang skala besar, ternyata masih menghadapi kendala dalam hal pemasaran. Kurangnya pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi menyebabkan informasi layanan mereka kurang dikenal secara luas oleh masyarakat, khususnya di lingkungan sekitar. Kelompok kami berkesempatan melakukan pendampingan langsung untuk membantu mengidentifikasi sekaligus memberikan solusi atas permasalahan tersebut. Solusi yang ditawarkan berupa pengaktifan akun Instagram resmi sebagai media promosi utama serta pembuatan Linktree sebagai wadah integrasi berbagai informasi penting seperti kontak, ulasan pelanggan, dan lokasi cabang. Harapannya, strategi ini mampu meningkatkan visibilitas J&T Cargo Cabang Wonocolo di ranah digital, memperluas jangkauan pasar, serta memperkuat hubungan dengan konsumen secara lebih efektif. Kegiatan ini menjadi refleksi nyata peran generasi muda dalam mendukung pertumbuhan dan adaptasi UMKM terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan pasar saat ini.

Abstract

This study examines the values of belief in God as the foundation of spiritual ethics in Serat Kitab Kalam Qodrat (SKKQ), a classical Javanese literary work rich in Sufi teachings. Employing a hermeneutic approach, the research explores the symbolic and theological meanings of key concepts such as tauhid (divine unity), qodrat (divine power), iradat (divine will), iman (faith), ma‘rifat (gnosis), prayer, and remembrance (dhikr). The data is based on the transliterated version by Sulistianingsih (2016). The findings reveal that SKKQ presents tauhid not only as a theological doctrine but also as an ethical guide, promoting surrender (sumeleh) to divine will and encouraging socially grounded spiritual behavior. The Qur’an is also portrayed as a symbol of divine knowledge, emphasizing the text’s role as a medium for transcendence and inner transformation. Thus, SKKQ offers relevant insights into religious moral education and spiritual reflection amid the ethical crisis of modern society.

Abstract

This research explores the expression of emotion and hope in the lyrics of the pop song “Diary Depressiku” by Last Child through a semiotic analysis approach. The song, inspired by the vocalist's personal experience, reflects deep emotional struggles stemming from family problems, especially parental divorce and longing for affection. Using a qualitative method, this research examines the semantic features of the song's lyrics to reveal how feelings of sadness, despair, envy, and ultimately hope are constructed and conveyed. The analysis revealed that the lyrics use a variety of emotive language and metaphors to depict the protagonist's internal conflicts and her journey towards acceptance and resilience. In addition, the research highlights how the song not only articulates personal pain but also offers a sense of hope and encouragement to listeners facing similar situations. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how pop music lyrics can serve as a medium for emotional expression and healing, especially for young listeners experiencing family challenges.

Abstract

In the digital era, a YouTuber plays a role not only in delivering content but also in creating a unique communication experience for their viewers. This study investigates the linguistic style of Windah Basudara during his gameplay of The Classroom a video that has become a popular talking point in the horror gaming community, particularly in April 2024. The game was selected because it successfully drew spontaneous and expressive reactions from the streamer, reflecting a high level of interaction in the comments section. The main focus lies in how Windah utilizes speech, greetings, humor, and spontaneous expressions to foster an emotional bond with his audience. Using a descriptive qualitative method and a light contextual pragmatic approach, this research classifies the types of linguistic style that emerge, without delving into overly complex linguistic theory. The results show that Windah’s communication strength lies in his ability to blend spontaneity, relatability, and a consistent personal style. These elements make his content feel lively and close to the viewers. The study concludes that a streamer’s success depends not only on the game played but also on their ability to connect naturally and entertainingly with their audience.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact and appearance of elements of Romanticism in contemporary pop music through an analysis of the song "Birds of a Feather" by Billie Eilish. By exploring the lyrics, melody, and atmosphere of the song, this research shows how central themes of Romanticism such as an emphasis on deep emotion, connection with nature, idealism, and individualism are visible in Eilish's work. This research provides a new perspective on how the aesthetic legacy of Romanticism still resonates and thrives in the modern pop music industry. I hope that this study will increase the understanding of how the influence of the Romanticism movement in the 19th century still exists and transforms in today's forms of artistic expression.
