Abstract

Halal tourism has continued to grow as a highly attractive segment for Muslim travelers, particularly in the provision of Sharia-compliant accommodation such as Islamic hotels. This study aims to examine consumer perceptions of halal food-and-beverage facilities and Sharia-based operational standards in Islamic hotels across the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, involving 150 respondents who had stayed in Sharia hotels. Data were collected through closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using the Weighted Mean Score (WMS) technique to evaluate respondents’ assessments of each indicator. The results indicate that consumer perception of halal food-and-beverage facilities falls into the very high category, with average scores exceeding 4.838. Consumers acknowledged that Sharia hotels maintain halal assurance, hygiene, and food safety through proper processing and the availability of halal certification. Regarding operational aspects, consumer perception is also classified as very good, with an average score of 4.606, particularly for policies prohibiting unmarried couples from sharing a room and banning entertainment deemed inappropriate or immoral. However, the use of Sharia-compliant financial institutions still requires improvement. Overall, the findings affirm that Sharia hotels in Jabodetabek have successfully implemented most Sharia principles, although further enhancement of internal operational practices is needed to achieve more comprehensive Sharia compliance.

Abstract

Rapid adoption of cashless payments has reshaped everyday spending, especially among young consumers. While e-wallets deliver speed and convenience, constant exposure to discounts, cashbacks, and one-click checkouts may also foster more frequent discretionary purchases. This study examines the relationship between e-wallet usage intensity and consumptive lifestyle, focusing on how convenience and promotional stimuli relate to spending tendencies. Using a cross-sectional online survey of students and early-career workers, we collected self-reports on payment habits and consumption patterns with validated Likert-type instruments. Data were screened and analyzed with correlation and linear regression after basic assumption checks. The results indicate a positive and statistically meaningful association between e-wallet usage and consumptive lifestyle; respondents who transact more often via e-wallets tend to report stronger preferences for instant gratification, hedonic purchases, and impulse buying. Convenience features (e.g., stored cards, fast checkout) and promotional exposure (e.g., limited-time deals) emerged as salient correlates of the relationship. The findings add contextual evidence from Indonesia’s digital economy and suggest practical implications for users, platforms, and educators. Financial-wellbeing interventions such as digital budgeting tips, in-app nudges, spend limits, or post-purchase reflections may help align seamless payments with healthier consumption decisions. Future work can test causal mechanisms and evaluate design features that encourage prudent, goal-consistent spending without diminishing user experience.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini: Mengetahui pengaruh komunitas online terhadap keputusan pembelian online. Mengetahui pengaruh promosi digital terhadap keputusan pembelian online. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yakni peneliti dengan sengaja menentukan sampel yang dipilih sesuai dengan jumlah komunitas di grup Facebook dan persyaratan sampel yang ditentukan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh jenis kelamin berusia 18 – 30 tahun dan sampel pada penelitian ini ada 100 responden. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala dengan variabel terikat Keputusan pembelian online dan variabel bebasnya yakni, komunitas online dan promosi digital. Teknik analisa data menggunakan uji analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 22.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: Komunitas Online paling berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Online. Promosi Digital berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Online.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of teamwork, workload, and work discipline on the work productivity of employees at PT Sejin Fashion Indonesia Pati. The study used a sample of 94 respondents determined using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 25, including validity and reliability tests, t-tests, F-tests, and determination coefficients. The results show that: 1) teamwork has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity; 2) workload has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity; and 3) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity; 4) teamwork, workload, and work discipline have a simultaneous effect on employee productivity. Work discipline is the most dominant variable in increasing employee work productivity. These findings imply that strengthening teamwork, adjusting workloads, and improving employee discipline are important strategies for companies to increase employee work productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Meta Ads, price, and product quality on the online purchase intention of digital products marketed through the Instagram account @cuantanpakamera. This study employs a quantitative approach. The population of this study consists of all 31,800 followers of the @cuantanpakamera Instagram account. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, involving 125 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression aided by the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 22.0 for Windows. The results indicate that Meta Ads, price, and product quality variables have a positive and significant effect on online purchase intention. Meta Ads was identified as the most dominant factor influencing online purchase intention. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.663 indicates that the independent variables are able to explain 66.3% of the variation in online purchase intention, while the remaining 33.7% is explained by other factors such as consumer trust, brand awareness, and so forth. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing effective digital advertising strategies and consistent product quality management to enhance consumer purchase intention in the era of social media-based marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of service quality and product quality on customer satisfaction and purchase decisions, as well as the mediating role of customer satisfaction. The population consists of Shopee users in Semarang City (January–May 2025). Using the Lemeshow formula, 97 respondents were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a 5-point Likert questionnaire and analyzed with SEM-AMOS. The findings show that both service quality and product quality significantly increase customer satisfaction. Service quality and product quality have positive but insignificant direct effects on purchase decisions, while customer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on purchase decisions. Customer satisfaction also significantly mediates the influence of service quality and product quality on purchase decisions. These results underline the crucial mediating role of satisfaction in shaping consumer purchasing behavior on digital platforms like Shopee.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of terminal users’ perceptions on business development opportunities at Mangkang Type A Terminal, Semarang City, managed by the Central Java Class I Transportation Management Agency (BPTD). As a major transportation hub, the terminal functions not only as a passenger transit point but also as a strategic economic area with potential for commercial facility development. However, the utilization of business opportunities at Mangkang Terminal remains suboptimal, necessitating an evidence-based analysis of the factors that shape these opportunities. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving terminal users, including passengers, public transport drivers, and terminal visitors. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression to examine the influence of user perceptions on business potential, which includes interest in facility usage, demand for additional services, and preferences for commercial space utilization. The findings indicate that perceptions related to comfort, safety, cleanliness, accessibility, and service quality significantly affect business development opportunities. Comfort and service quality emerge as the most dominant factors driving user interest in commercial facilities. These results emphasize that improving terminal service quality can serve as an effective strategy to expand business opportunities and enhance non-tax revenue.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh lokasi, biaya kuliah, dan promosi terhadap minat mahasiswa untuk melanjutkan studi di Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis (ITB) Semarang. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada faktor-faktor eksternal yang diduga memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan minat mahasiswa dalam memilih perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner berbasis Google Form. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa ITB Semarang, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 65 orang. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda untuk menguji pengaruh dari masing-masing variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lokasi, biaya kuliah, dan promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat mahasiswa memilih ITB Semarang sebagai tempat melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa semakin strategis lokasi kampus, semakin terjangkau biaya kuliah, dan semakin efektif promosi yang dilakukan, maka semakin tinggi minat mahasiswa untuk mendaftar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of location, promotion, and service on purchasing decisions at Toko Lia 99 Semarang. The background of this research is based on the increasing competition in the retail business, which requires companies to pay attention to factors that can influence consumers’ purchasing decisions. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who are customers of Toko Lia 99 Semarang. The research instrument was a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. The results show that, partially, the location variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The promotion variable also has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Likewise, the service variable is proven to have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, location, promotion, and service have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and job satisfaction on the performance of warehouse employees at PT J&T Express. Work environment and job satisfaction are important factors that are thought to increase productivity and work efficiency. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach, data collection through questionnaires announced to 100 warehouse employees of PT J&T Express using a purposive sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed using linear multiple regression to test the partial and simultaneous effects of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of the study indicate that work environment and job satisfaction have a significant positive effect on the performance of warehouse employees. This finding indicates that improving the quality of the work environment and job satisfaction can be an effective strategy in improving employee performance at PT J&T Express. This study is expected to provide practical contributions to company management in managing human resources to increase company competitiveness.
