Abstract

This study aims to understand how Indonesian Language Program students contribute to Indonesian literature through the Nusantara Literature curriculum. This research focuses on students' experiences, motivations, knowledge, and skills in influencing literature through Nusantara Literature. This research also reveals that the majority of students have a strong interest in literature, despite not having a strong background in literature. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Qualitative descriptive research is research that. This research uses questionnaire data analysis which aims to describe students' experiences and perceptions in writing folklore. The subjects of this research were students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Students who became research subjects amounted to 28 people. The data collection techniques in this study are divided into two, namely primary data collection and secondary data. The data analysis technique in this research is thematic analysis to identify patterns from the questionnaire responses. This knowledge helps students understand local culture, improve their writing skills, and motivate them to be actively involved in literature through the Nusantara Literature curriculum. This research also highlights the importance of knowledge about literature, including its development, structure, and differences with modern literature. Students understand that literature is a unique component of the country's culture and history, and serves as a medium to teach moral and traditional values. The research also highlights the importance of creativity and motivation in literature, as it helps students develop ideas, understand the challenges of writing, develop their own genres, and motivate themselves to engage in literature. This leads to improved quality and creativity in writing, which ultimately contributes to the development of the Indonesian language.

Abstract

Background - Character development in the learning process is a serious challenge in the world of education, especially in non-formal educational institutions. Purpose - This study aims to describe the learning process through planning, implementation, and evaluation. Method/Approach - This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological study design. Findings - The planning process is carried out by setting learning objectives, teaching resources or materials, learning methods, learning media, and designing learning outcome assessments. The learning process begins with a prayer, followed by a reflection on the previous meeting, the delivery of material, and ends with a review of the material covered in the lesson. Summative evaluation is used in the form of crossword puzzles during the learning process. Conclusion - This study shows that Dynamic Learning-based learning can be an effective approach in developing children's character, especially in non-formal educational environments such as in Wonosari Village, Semarang City. Novelty/Originality/Value - Dynamic learning has been proven to change the character of students.

Abstract

Background – Improving vocational high school students’ creative thinking skills and learning independence is important to meet modern industry demands, requiring innovative approaches such as STEM-integrated Project-Based Learning (PjBL) that engage students in problem-solving and real-world projects. Purpose - This study aims to analyze the application of the STEM-integrated PjBL model in improving students’ creative thinking skills and learning independence. Method/approach - This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design involving pretest and posttest. The population consisted of grade XI vocational high school students in Purbalingga, Central Java. The sample was selected purposively from grade XI TKJ students at SMK N 1 Purbalingga and SMK N 1 Kemangkon. Data were collected through creative thinking tests, learning independence questionnaires, and observation sheets. Instrument validity was tested by comparing the calculated r-value with the r-table value (0.3809), and reliability was measured using Cronbach’s alpha. Findings - Several test items were declared valid, and the learning independence questionnaire showed factor loadings between 0.720–0.756. Reliability results showed Cronbach’s alpha values of 0.74 for the creative thinking instrument and 0.773 for the learning independence questionnaire. Conclusions - The N-Gain results showed that students’ creative thinking skills improved more in the experimental class than in the control class. However, the increase in learning independence was minimal and showed no significant difference between the two groups.

Abstract

Background –The  background of this research is  based  on the  perception  that learning geometry at the elementary  school  level  is  often  considered  monotonous  and  less  interesting,  due  to  the  lack  of  varied teaching methods and the lack of material connection with students' daily lives. Purpose –To increase students' interest in learning, creativity, and understanding, this research integrates the traditional Mountain Tread gamewith the concept of Fibonacci. Method/Approach–With   a   qualitative   approach,   data   collection   was   done   through   observation, interviews, and documentation during the learning process. Findings –The results showed that the use of this media was able to improve students' understanding of geometric  shapes  and  patterns,  while  stimulating  their  creativity  in  forming  and  exploring  geometric patterns based on the Fibonacci concept. Conclusions–In conclusion, combining traditional games and the Fibonacci concept is an effective strategy in developing creativity and understanding of geometry at the elementary school level, with the advantage of keeping up with the times while preserving local culture. Novelty/Originality/Value - This study offers an innovative integration of local wisdom content with three-dimensional Pop-Up Book design as a character education tool.
