Abstract

Provision of skilled human resources can be realized through Vocational High School. Graduates from the school are expected to be ready to use in the ASEAN workforce and have an entrepreneurial character trait. One of the efforts to produce graduates is the application of teaching factory, where management is needed. The purpose of this study was to determine (1)management in teaching factory terms of: planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating; (2) find out the active strategy in IR 4.0; (3) knowing themanagement teaching factory active strategy in IR 4.0 at SMK Bustanul Falah Banyuwangi. This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques including interviews, observation and documentation analysis. Data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis including data collection, data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of this study: (1)management teaching factory at SMK Bustanul Falah Banyuwangi in terms of (a) planning, (b) organizing, (c) implementation, and (d) supervision is done well and integrated by all school components. (2) active learning strategies have been implemented well (a) learning prioritizes student competencies, (b) teachers as facilitators guiding in the learning experience process, (c) Developing industry-based learning. (3) the results of themanagement design teaching factory provide provisions for the industry, and the output is well absorbed by the industry.

Abstract

Disciplined life really needs to be trained a2nd accustomed to in everyday life, because with this habit humans will really be trained and can experience a meaningful life, gain the trust of others because of their high sense of discipline and responsibility. The words of discipline are easy to say but quite difficult to implement. The application of discipline both at the educational level and its application in everyday life must be optimized so that students/communities in filling this globalization era can be able to compete in the field in a healthy and fair manner. Therefore, in the development of disciplinary education, it is very necessary to have a good and well-planned disciplinary education strategy. The focus of this research is the strategy for improving student discipline at MTs Salafiyah Al Asy'ariyah Mangaran Situbondo while the purpose of this research is to describe strategies for improving student discipline at MTs Salafiyah Al Asy'ariyah Mangaran Situbondo. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research. Data sources in this study were obtained by researchers from key informants, namely people who can provide information to researchers, data collection techniques consisting of; Interviews. Observation; and Documentation. The findings of the research results are the strategies used by MTs Salafiyah Al Asy'ariyah Mangaran Situbondo in increasing student discipline, namely: a) Preparation of vision, mission, motto and goals, b) Preparation of special activity programs c) Rules of conduct, d) Socialization, e) Approach, f) Facilities and Infrastructure, and g) Evaluation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research can be formulated, namely to describe the application of the Focused Group Discussion (FGD) method to improve teacher performance in teaching at MTs Nurul Ulum Tegalwangi Umbulsari, Jember Regency. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, with the Action Research model. Research location is a place used in conducting research to obtain the desired data. This research took place at MTs Nurul Ulum Tegalwangi Umbulsari, Jember Regency, precisely on Jl. KH. Muh. Nur No. 01 Tegalwangi, Umbulsari District, Jember Regency. The time of the research is the time the research was conducted or when the research was conducted. This research was conducted on 01-30 August 2022. This madrasah action research was carried out by the Madrasa Supervisors with teachers at MTs Nurul Ulum Tegalwangi Umbulsari, Jember Regency. From the results of madrasah action research that has been carried out for two cycles and based on the discussion and analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the Focused Group Discussion (FGD) method can improve teacher performance in teaching at MTs Nurul Ulum Tegalwangi Umbulsari, Jember Regency. In the first cycle, the data obtained for the total value of 8.7, then an average of 1.74 (C) was obtained. Whereas in cycle II there was an increase in the total value of 13.7, an average of 2.74 (B) was obtained, which was a very good/good value.

Abstract

This study presents the professionalism of teachers. Some of the considerations that became the main reason for choosing this issue include; there are demands from society in modernization that are sweeping all aspects of people's lives, and there is differentiation and specialization that occurs among those who want an increase in every profession according to their respective fields. Bulurejo Tempursari Lumajang Islamic Middle School is an object of research based on the consideration that at that SMP there has never been any research that raises the issue of teacher professionalism. The specifics of the problem are whether the teaching staff at the Bulurejo Tempursari Lumajang Islamic Middle School can be categorized as professional teachers. Based on research data that has been analyzed by teachers at the Bulurejo Tempursari Islamic Middle School, it is not 100% that they can be categorized as professional teachers. This is because the teaching profession they carry out does not fully meet the existing aspects of teacher professionalism. However, teachers still have the desire to seek to become professionals. Several things become obstacles for them to be categorized as professional teachers, among others, there are still many of them who are not yet members of professional teacher organizations, lack independence and a future-oriented attitude, lack of facilities needed by teachers, and lack of effort to increase the professionalism of teachers and the school.

Abstract

Improving the quality of student input requires school marketing management that can be accepted by the wider community and is able to establish harmonious relationships with the community so that it can involve them actively in order to realize school and educational goals, work with the management team, and succeed in realizing school goals productively according to with stipulated conditions. School marketing management in carrying out cooperation is by building relationships, strengthening internal networks, intelligently utilizing the momentum of cooperation, training mass mobility and diversifying. So that by strengthening the management of the school or school will be superior. The results of this study are: 1) School marketing management in improving the quality of student input at Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Midad Sumberejo Sukodono is carried out in several ways, namely through publication, socialization, collaboration with alumni and the mass media, 2) The results of school marketing management in improving the quality of student input from the last three years starting in 2018 there were 343 students, in 2019 it increased to 371 students and in 2020 it increased to 441 students. In terms of student quality, there has also been an increase, in 2018 students with excellent quality entered as many as 50 students, in 2019 as many as 65 students and in 2020 as many as 67 students, 3) The supporting factors are marketing management designed systematically, collaboration with professional teachers, Meanwhile the inhibiting factor is the delivery of information data to improve the image is still lacking, inadequate facilities and do not master information delivery techniques, limited time for school marketing administrators when serving the external public, the school's marketing function has not functioned properly.

Abstract

Student management has an important role in educational institutions, namely managing student activities so that these activities can run smoothly, in an orderly and regular manner to contribute to the achievement of madrasah goals and overall educational goals. Student management and religious character have a relationship, namely religious character must be instilled in students from an early age. In the process of forming students' religious character, it will not take place by itself, but the process is influenced by the school environment. This study used a descriptive qualitative research approach with field research using data collection techniques: 1) Observation 2) Interview 3) Documentation. There are two types of data validity in this study: 1) Source triangulation and 2) Technical triangulation. Data analysis in this study used the interactive model Milles, Huberman, and Saldana. This research concludes 1) Analysis and acceptance in shaping the religious character of students at MAN 2 Banyuwangi through learning in the classroom and outside the classroom. Then the recruitment process to build the religious character of students is through achievement and regular routes. Furthermore, the selection process carried out by the teacher is by conducting religious activities through the takmir of the At-Ta'awun mosque. 2) Orientation and placement in shaping the religious character of students at MAN 2 Banyuwangi on the academic aspect are in addition to class and department placement, namely by implementing a culture of obligatory Dhuha and Dhuhur prayers in congregation, Koran recitation activities before KBM, and other religious activities. While the non-academic aspect is through extracurricular activities, each extracurricular supervisor combines it with religion. 3) Guidance and development in shaping the religious character of students at MAN 2 Banyuwangi on the curricular aspect is through classroom learning and combining it with religion. Then on the co-curricular aspect is through the application of talents and interests, meaning that students of MAN 2 Banyuwangi are provided with facilities by Madrasas in the form of facilities and infrastructure for talent and interest activities to hone their potential so that students have quality abilities in the fields of imtaq and science and technology. Likewise in the extracurricular aspect, namely every teacher who becomes a coach combines it with religion.

Abstract

Improving the quality of learning in madrasas depends on several factors. A very important factor includes the application of madrasa culture towards improving quality. Madrasah culture is a positive thing that must be maintained and implemented by all madrasah residents without feeling forced. One of the Madrasa cultures that must be maintained is the issue of discipline, including the discipline of teachers in their presence in class during the teaching and learning process. To improve teacher discipline, efforts can be made in various ways. In this School Action Research (PTS), action was attempted in the form of implementing Reward and Punishment for teachers at MTs Darul Ulum Nglumber Kepohbaru Bojonegoro. This research was carried out in two cycles because, from the results of research and data analysis, it turned out that in the second cycle, teacher discipline in attendance in the classroom the teaching and learning process increased and met the indicators that had been set at 75%. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that improving teacher discipline in class attendance during teaching and learning activities can be done by implementing Rewards and Punishment for teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the Think Pair Share strategy to improve the learning outcomes of class V students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Singkawang in 2023. This research uses the Action Research method. The location of research was carried out at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri Singkawag for fifth-grade students. The collection technique uses data analysis techniques using qualitative data. The results of this research found that teacher activities at the 2nd meeting obtained an average score of 75.0%, which means an increase of 25.1% from the achievement at the 1st meeting where the average score was 48.9%. The results of student learning at the 1st and 2nd meetings can be seen from the results of the meetings, there has been a significant change, there has been an increase in those who read books before the lesson starts, although not all students have done so, there has been an increase in those who read (repeat) at home, those who like to pay attention to pictures- there is an increase in pictures in books, those who like to observe experiments and observe the steps their friends are doing there is an improvement, they often discuss with friends when studying there is an improvement, they are active in expressing opinions with friends there is an improvement, they interact with teachers, they do their homework there is an improvement even though they haven't yet everything, but there has been improvement so that the research has been successful at meeting 2.

Abstract

Imam Al-Ghazali, has played a central role in initiating the concept of Islamic education which encourages character transformation as the main foundation. Imam Al-Ghazali views true education in Islam as a fundamental process for changing the nature of individuals. In order to achieve this goal, Imam Al-Ghazali emphasized the need for a holistic educational approach, which not only involves intellectual aspects, but also spiritual and moral. Within the framework of Transformative Islamic Education, a generation with noble morals is the main focus. Imam Al-Ghazali taught that education should not only produce academically intelligent individuals, but also individuals who inherit noble morals, good ethics and high spiritual awareness. This means values ​​such as compassion, honesty, justice and piety must become an integral part of the educational process. Efforts to create a generation with noble morals in Transformative Islamic Education include a deep understanding of religion, deep self-reflection, and consistent practice of worship. prioritizes the concept of lifelong learning, where individuals continuously develop their knowledge and character throughout their lives. Therefore, Transformative Islamic Education which is inspired by the thoughts of Imam Al-Ghazali aims to create a generation with noble morals by integrating intellectual, spiritual and moral aspects in education. This approach views education as a tool to form individuals who are not only academically intelligent, but also have noble morals and deep spiritual awareness. The result is a positive contribution to society and the world more broadly.

Abstract

This research aims to describe learning development innovations in Islamic education institutions in the 21st century. The development of Islamic education institutions is something that must be done in order to realize people who are virtuous and intelligent as the values of Islamic teachings. With a qualitative method in the form of a case study, this research was conducted at MI NU Banat Kudus. Data collection techniques used include observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation techniques. Then, the data that has been collected is analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that SES development innovation at MI NU Banat Kudus was implemented with two programs, namely the language environment program and lesson study. The language environment program aims to train students' language skills and abilities by scheduling four languages (English, Arabic, Indonesian, and Javanese) alternately every week. The lesson study program aims to develop a good practice of SES integration in learning, increasing the ability of teachers to observe learning activities, cultivating learning models based on inquiry, and increasing teacher professionalism.
