Abstract

This article examines the thoughts of KH. Ahmad Siddiq on the educational leadership model with a national perspective. There is a very interesting lesson from his thoughts so he deserves to be called a national hero because he is a cleric who has national insight who can unite the Indonesian people and accept Pancasila as the basis of the Indonesian state. This study uses a descriptive qualitative model with library data collection and data validity using data triangulation. KH. Ahmad Siddiq has a proportional thought, ideology and religion are not two things that must be chosen one while discarding the other. In the relationship between religion and Pancasila, the two can support each other and strengthen each other, the two are not contradictory and should not be contradicted.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the decision-making process, participation in decision-making, and decision-making methods at Ibrahimy Sukorejo University Situbondo and Nurul Jadid University Paiton Probolinggo. The research methodology is a qualitative study, the type is descriptive with a multi-site design at the Sukorejo Islamic boarding school in Situbondo and the Nurul Jadid Islamic boarding school in Paiton Probolinggo. Data collection technique; Observations, interviews, and documentary studies. The data were organized, interpreted, tested for validity by triangulation procedures, then analyzed using the interactive model of Milles and Huberman. The findings of this study are: (1) the decision-making process is carried out by identifying the problem, developing it by conducting internal and external analysis, solving it with a new strategy, implementing and evaluating the results of the decision; (2) forms of participation are ideas, thoughts, suggestions, criticisms, and energy in carrying out organizational tasks according to the structure. And the factors that influence participation are the factors of intention, sincerity, dedication, age, knowledge, and a sense of responsibility in carrying out organizational tasks to achieve goals; (3) the decision-making methods are autocratic decisions, consultative decisions, joint decisions, and religious intuitive decisions.

Abstract

This research examines the conflict phenomenon between pesantren and the community in Bali which is focused on the leadership of the Kiai. Kiai develops Islam through pesantren. The leadership of the Kiai has strategic aspects in the life of the nation and state. They set conflict resolution with Istiqlal Islamic Boarding School, Buleleng, and the Bali Bina Insani Islamic Boarding School, Tabanan. The theme is a new discourse related to the development of pesantren traditions and values ​​in the discipline of Islamic education management. The leadership of Kiai in Bali is in line with Islamic values. They ​​accomplish the conflict resolution to bring peace to Bali. They actualize it through Islamic boarding schools. Islam means safe and peaceful. The teachings of Islam guide humans on how to get a harmonious and peaceful life. These values ​​become the buffer of human values. Rasulullah SAW taught his followers to spread greetings. The order indicates the existence of Muslims as agents of peace (Ufs al-salam).

Abstract

Since being established as a formal institution through PMA (Minister of Religion Regulation) number 32 of 2020, Ma'had Aly has experienced a dilemma between surviving as an institution that has academic independence or following the standardization of government institutions. The regulation requires stakeholders to take policies that can determine the future of Ma'had Aly. Meanwhile, Ma'had Aly Salafiyah Syafiiyah Situbondo, Ma'had Aly Nurul Jadid Probolinggo and Ma'had Aly Nurul Qodim Probolinggo carried out different strategies in responding to the PMA. Salafiyah Syafiiyah represents an institution with a stable service system, Nurul Jadid has a dynamic character and Nurul Qodim is strategic. Ma'had Aly is an institutionalization of the intellectual tradition of pesantren-campus with a pesantren character as an answer to the fading motivation of students in mastering the turath books (salaf books). Ma'had Aly has more systematic levels, paths, and types compared to Islamic boarding schools. When compared with higher education, ma'had aly has the distinction of mastering turath books and is based on pesantren. The ma'had aly contestation has a strategic position in achieving its institutional goals. The distinction of ma'had aly lies in the standard of inputs, morality, academic, and takhassus. This study intends to unravel the response of ma'had aly as a system in maintaining its identity as a tafaqquh fi al-din institution amid formal legal demands and market penetration. The research question that will be the focus of the discussion is how ma'had aly integrates quality and formal standards.

Abstract

Leadership in the organization is necessary. The leadership of a person who has a leadership spirit allows the direction and goals of the organization to be oriented in accordance with the vision and mission. Leadership in the integrated pesantren variant is no exception. The spirit of leadership today in social organizations and educational institutions expects leadership that can provide feedback or a positive impact on the pattern of organizational development, especially in educational institutions. As reflected in the variant of the integrated pesantren, namely Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum Kalisat Jember. This research is to reveal how the perspective of Quranic leadership in the variant of integrated pesantren. The focus of the research uses the analytical knife of Cn Cooley's theory as well as several relevant theories. This type of research uses case studies. Data mining through observation, interviews, and documentation was then analyzed using the steps as presented by Miles and Huberman, namely condensation, display, conclusion, and verification. Based on the analysis, it was found that the Qur'anic leadership perspective in the integrated pesantren variant implements the values ​​in the Qur'an and Hadith. These values ​​are categorized under the principles of Amanah, Khidmah, and Barokah.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the hijrah movement is now a trend in Muslim middle society. The spread of the hijrah trend shows that this movement has the ability to attract its members, especially targeting young people. This movement is active in conducting millennial religious studies with a modern approach and through online studies through social media as a medium of da'wah da syi'ar. The purpose of this paper is to describe the trend of the migration movement in the city of Jember. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a research library. The results showed that the migration and the Muslim Middle-scale community movement were able to target millennial children because the topic of hijrah that was raised attracted more millennial attention, one of which was discussing human relations with Allah, but now the issue is more contextual such as problems with relationships with fellow humans even to fashion.

Abstract

In its development, a talk on leadership is never dated to be studied. This leadership study will continue to be a topic of constant warmth, given its position in every system of human life. The leaders' positions and portions are widely analyzed from diverse perspectives. It all depends on which side one is on and assessing the issue of a leader in one's musical object. When leadership is reviewed from a political perspective, it begets a different understanding when studied from an educational, even economic perspective. The article tried to do a leadership review from an Islamic perspective, elaborating on passages from the Qur 'and thematically. Given the Islamic position with the motto of rahmatan Lil 'Alamin. Therefore, the teachings of Islam and the content of the Qur 'an must be a real foothold and a very important and strategic part to emerge. In this text, the approach used in analyzing the definitive substance and philosophical meaning of leadership is using the Derrida thought analysis, which are demonstrative.

Abstract

The dominance of the connotative meaning of leadership and its impact on the role of women is the reason why this study of the actualization of women's leadership should be carried out. The functional side of the meaning of women which contains the implications of the concept of transformational leadership makes this study more worthy of research in the related literature. This is a literature study that tries to reveal the meaning of women's leadership and its correlation with the perspective of Bass and Reggio’s transformational leadership. Excavation of data through leadership literature and several reports of field observations. The analysis uses Miles and Hubarman's interactive analysis, namely: condensation, conclusion and verification. The results of this study include, first, the reinterpretation of women's leadership; second, a description of the functional correlation between leadership, women, and transformational terms; and third, the emergence of opportunity and sportsmanship of meaning and attitude as a product of the correlation.

Abstract

The existence of this research is to 1) find out the administrative supervision process in improving administrative services at MTsN 5 Tabalong 2) find out the administrative obstacles in supervising administrative services at MTsN 5 Tabalong. The method used is a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. 1) the administrative supervision process in improving administrative services at MTSN 5 Tabalong with the supervision carried out by the administrative head and madrasa head makes each staff have the initiative to change the quality on themselves, to run services better 2) as for the obstacles/ obtacles faced by the administration in supervising administrative services at MTsN 5 Tabalong in the form of HR aspects which still experience a shortage of educational staff, for the aspect of facilities and infrastructure there is still no hall, laboratory room, and library.

Abstract

the purpose of this article is to describe strategies in the form of place, price, promotion and product marketing strategies in increasing the competitiveness of institutions at MI At-Taqwa Bondowoso. Research using qualitative research methods using descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that: 1) The marketing strategy for madrasas in increasing the competitiveness of institutions is by strategically located madrasah locations or places, besides that the classrooms are quite spacious with nuances of beauty in each class, namely the presence of an ornament from student creativity that can build imagination good and eager to learn. 2) The marketing strategy for madrasa promotion in increasing the competitiveness of institutions is to use print media strategies, online media, Word of Moth, and direct promotions every day by providing new innovations such as friendly Friday and alms Friday activities. 3) The marketing strategy for madrasah prices in increasing the competitiveness of institutions is to offer prices in accordance with the quality of education services provided and to carry out market preferences using psychographic segmentation and demographic segmentation, and to establish price marketing segmentation with measurable analysis with consumer data, community behavior, affordability aspects, and sustainability of benefits. 4) The marketing strategy for madrasa products in increasing the competitiveness of institutions is to bring up many new innovations by creating pesantren-style education, namely by having superior programs such as the tahfidz class program, the program to memorize asmaul husna, the program to memorize lay aqidatul, the dhuha prayer program, the congregational dhuhur prayer program, and the sholawat program, while also improving the quality of teachers and adequate facilities and infrastructure.
