Abstract

Online gambling games are popular among teenagers nowadays. This is caused by very sophisticated technological advances, socio-economic pressures, and the role of social media as an advertising platform. This research aims to understand the reasons why the younger generation plays online gambling and solve the problems of this case. In collecting data, researchers obtained data through observation and interviews. The results of this research explain the factors of playing online gambling such as environmental, cognitive and perception factors. This case has an impact on finances (material values), vital values, spiritual values ​​(mental health and social relationships). Playing online gambling games is caused by technological accessibility, socio-economic pressures, lack of public awareness about the laws and risks of online gambling.

Abstract

The formation of a strong and responsible character, it is very important to instill the values of Pancasila in the moral and ethical education of the younger generation. The implementation of learning Pancasila values includes understanding and appreciation of the five precepts that form the basis of Indonesia's state ideology. This learning process involves interactive and contextual teaching methods, including discussions, simulations and relevant social activities. In addition, the importance of the educator's role in conveying these values in an effective and engaging manner is one of the keys to success. The main objective of this implementation is to develop attitudes and behaviors that reflect the values of Pancasila, such as tolerance, justice, humanity, unity, and democracy. Thus, the younger generation is expected to contribute positively to the life of society, nation and state, and face global challenges with strong principles.

Abstract

Pilot is a skill that a person have to control and operate an aircraft. A person can be said to be someone who is an expert in controlling and operating an aircraft if that person already has a license issued by an authorized institution and has passed a feasibility test. Basically, becoming a pilot is not easy, pilot required to have high level of discipline, intelligence and responsibility. This research have purpose to analyze the influence of cadet education system on the discipline of pilot cadidates at Indonesia Pilot Academy. The results of this research show that the cadet education system influences the discipline of pilot candidates at Indonesia Pilot Academy. Cadet education influences discipline in all aspects of the lives of pilot students at Indonesia Pilot Academy.

Abstract

This article was created with the aim of analyzing the importance of Pancasila values ​​in shaping the character and behavior of Indonesia's young generation. The main aim is to show how Pancasila can be used as a moral and ethical basis for everyday life, as well as a solution to various social problems faced by today's young generation, such as drugs, crime and promiscuity. This research uses qualitative methods, examining various related matters. The results of the research show that in everyday life, Pancasila does not play a role in law, but Pancasila is binding, this means that Indonesian citizens are bound to the ideals of realizing the vision of Pancasila, which is based on Belief in One Almighty God, Humanity, Unity, Interest and Justice. To achieve this, one solution is to create positive things based on Pancasila values.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has launched the concept of “Merdeka Belajar” as an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. This concept aims to provide greater freedom and autonomy to educational units in managing and developing their curriculum according to the needs and potential of students. In this paper, we analyze the concept and structure of Merdeka Belajar curriculum which includes four main components, namely: (1) Merdeka Belajar Policy; (2) Merdeka Belajar Curriculum; (3) Merdeka Belajar Learning; and (4) Merdeka Belajar Assessment. Merdeka Belajar Policy gives greater authority to schools in developing curriculum and learning plans according to local needs. Merdeka Belajar Curriculum focuses on developing core competencies and basic competencies needed by students to face the challenges of the 21st century. Merdeka Belajar Learning encourages teachers to use innovative learning methods, such as project-based learning, problem-based learning, and collaborative learning. Merdeka Belajar assessment emphasizes authentic assessment that measures the ability of students holistically. The application of Merdeka Belajar concept is expected to produce graduates who have competencies that are in line with the needs of industry and society, and are able to think critically, creatively, and innovatively.

Abstract

The rise of bullying cases that occur in Indonesia and the many cases of children dropping out of school are the reasons researchers take the topic of the importance of compulsory education for children in Indonesia as a prevention of bullying. Using a qualitative method with an in-depth approach through interviews, observation and counseling conducted to 40 elementary school students in the Bandung area. In-depth interviews were conducted with students who experienced bullying and 2 teachers as guardians of students. Researchers get the results of children in the school already know the meaning of bullying but sadly there are still children who are victims of bullying, some victims get bullying because of physical limitations. After conducting counseling, there was a significant change, including students knowing the importance of avoiding bullying.

Abstract

Character education is an integral part of early childhood education, especially in introducing the values of Pancasila. This study utilizes a qualitative approach to explore the use of education as a medium for introducing and implementing Pancasila values ​​in first-grade children. The research method involves participatory observation, interviews, and content analysis of educational materials presented to the children. The research findings indicate that the qualitative approach provides insights into how children internalize Pancasila values ​​through various educational activities. The results also highlight the importance of interaction between teachers and students in the learning process, where teachers act as facilitators to reinforce understanding and application of Pancasila values ​​in children's daily lives. The implications of this research emphasize the need for a holistic and child-centered approach in designing effective character education programs that consider the needs and characteristics of individual children.

Abstract

Technology plays a crucial role in various fields, especially in the realm of education. With the rapid advancement of technology, proficient education is necessary to prepare for a promising future. Research focuses on aspects that can facilitate the development of discourse on Indonesian education in the future, integrated with technology. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with literature review, examining various sources related to the discussed topic. The findings elucidate strategies for constructing a discourse in the future of education integrated with technology. Moreover, the results indicate that effective educational discourse entails ideas that do not neglect the objectives and functions of education itself.

Abstract

The North Natuna Sea is a strategic area that has significant economic and geopolitical value for Indonesia. The area is often at the centre of attention due to the various security challenges it faces, including threats from illegal activities such as fishing by foreign vessels. The purpose of this study is to examine the community's perspective on the role of state defence in maintaining Indonesia's sovereignty in the North Natuna Sea. Due to its exploratory nature, this study was conducted using a qualitative method by collecting descriptive data. Data was collected through randomly distributed questionnaires from various layers of Indonesian society, including students, security forces, community leaders, and local residents. Data was analysed using inferential and descriptive statistical techniques to identify people's perceptions, attitudes and awareness levels regarding the importance of the role of state defence. The study found that most respondents had a positive view of the role of state defence and realised its importance in maintaining the sovereignty of Indonesia's territorial waters. The findings provide important implications for policy makers in formulating strategies and educational programmes to increase public participation in state defence.

Abstract

This study focuses on the problem of sexual violence against children with special needs in DKI Jakarta, which has reached a substantial magnitude. Presently, there is a lack of a specialized preventative program that is specifically designed to address the distinct characteristics and requirements of these children. The main aim of this research is to create a program that focuses on preventing sexual violence and is tailored to meet the unique needs and circumstances of children with special needs. The chosen research approach is Research and Development (R&D), which utilizes the 4-D (Four D) development paradigm. The researchers engage in a series of developmental stages, which include the defining stage, design stage, development stage, and dissemination stage. Data were gathered using interview methodologies, then examined, and the final outcomes were authenticated by specialists. The study's findings suggest that the sexual violence prevention program designed for children with exceptional needs passed rigorous validation. The material validation score attained a percentage of 96.6, while the media validation score reached a percentage of 82.2. Furthermore, the practicality assessment of the designed program produced favorable outcomes, with a feasibility rate of 82%.
