Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media design for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) using the Wordwall and Quizizz platforms to enhance student motivation and participation in the learning process. The research method employed is Research and Development (RD), involving needs analysis, media design, expert validation, limited trials, and evaluation. The results indicate that interactive learning media based on Wordwall and Quizizz effectively increase student engagement. Students demonstrate higher learning motivation, active participation, and greater interest in PAI material. These findings highlight the importance of utilizing interactive digital media as an innovative and enjoyable learning strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the suitability of contextual learning materials in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with document analysis techniques. Data were obtained from PAI learning materials used in secondary schools and compared with the applicable curriculum standards. The results indicate that most learning materials have integrated students’ real-life context; however, some content still needs to be adjusted to be more relevant and applicable. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for teachers and curriculum developers in improving the quality of contextual PAI learning materials.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the Independent Curriculum implementation on the moral development of students at YASPIM Taruna Private Vocational High School Sei Glugur. The Independent Curriculum, as an educational innovation focusing on learning freedom and character development, is expected to produce students who are not only academically competent but also morally upright. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum has a positive influence on students’ moral improvement, particularly in aspects of responsibility, discipline, and mutual respect. However, challenges remain, such as limited teacher understanding of the curriculum’s concept and time constraints in project-based learning activities. Therefore, continuous training and mentoring for teachers are necessary to optimize the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in shaping students’ moral character.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Akhlakul Karimah values in the learning process at Al-Hikmah Private High School Medan during the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results show that the teachers at Al-Hikmah Private High School integrate Akhlakul Karimah values through various learning activities, such as discipline, respect, honesty, and responsibility, which are aligned with Islamic teachings. In addition, the use of digital technology is directed to support character formation rather than merely cognitive achievement. The main challenges include students’ dependence on technology and the need for teacher innovation in integrating moral education with digital learning. The findings highlight that character education through Akhlakul Karimah remains essential in forming students’ Islamic personalities in the era of rapid technological advancement.
