Abstract

If the emotional, cognitive and psychomotor domains are integrated, it can be said that students' understanding of Islamic religious material is good. This will not happen if there is no communication between teachers and students. This does not rule out the possibility that there is no standard assessment carried out by educators in these three fields. To check the reality on the ground, researchers surveyed the research location at SMP Muhammadiyah 57 Medan. This research is field research using qualitative methods. Data was collected through observation, tests and interviews. Data from cases were analyzed descriptively. The findings showed that students were rated very well in the emotional domain based on the observation rubric. For the cognitive domain, only the percentage showed 55% (13 out of 25 students) who were proficient and answered all the questions. Remembering that for the psychomotor cortex, the test is carried out by practicing explaining verses from the Koran and writing verses from the Koran. 14 of the 25 students scored between 91 and 100 points. This means that students are able to express understanding of the material. The obstacles faced by students are the inability to understand the content and the lack of diversity in the student classroom atmosphere.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) To obtain an overview of the morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai; (2) To analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of improving the noble morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai; (3) To explain the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving the noble morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai. This research was written using qualitative research methods with normative theological, pedagogical and psychological approaches. The research instruments are observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that: (1) The morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai are good. This can be seen from the implementation of congregational prayers which are running smoothly, the implementation of the culture of greetings is also going according to expectations, every student when they meet the school community always say hello, including when entering class. Furthermore, the clean culture also works effectively, because students are always enthusiastic about participating in clean Saturdays and throw away rubbish in the right place; (2) The supporting factor for the implementation of improving the noble morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai is the full support of the school principal and teachers through example, adequate facilities and infrastructure such as prayer rooms and healthy canteens. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors are the social conditions of students' households, the environment outside of school and students who do not yet understand the importance of noble morals; (3) The efforts of Islamic religious education teachers to improve the noble morals of students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai are to provide good examples regarding the implementation of the culture of greetings, clean culture and the habit of praying in congregation as well as providing sanctions for students who enter class without saying hello.

Abstract

Religious education is a structured effort to teach religious values, in this case the effort includes cognitive, emotional and psychomotor aspects, but failed. This failure is caused by the failure of education to produce human resources who are critical, creative, innovative, dignified, ethical and moral. So far the new learning process has been able to touch cognitive and emotional aspects so that it makes a significant contribution in reaching the psychomotor domain. The latter is very important for religious communities. This is related to human sensitivity in social life. Seeing this reality, serious attention needs to be given to Islamic education, especially in Indonesia, to demand empowerment and contribute to efforts to reshape this situation. Of course, this need takes into account the connectedness and role of the Indonesian community, which is predominantly Muslim, in educational activities. Therefore, considering changing times, breakthroughs are needed such as changes to models and implementation strategies.

Abstract

In conducting the assessment in accordance with the 2013 curriculum, a teacher is required to apply an authentic assessment in accordance with the Standards of Assessment. Teachers are also required to have the ability to make conformity between assessment techniques and assessment instruments which are the requirements of instruments that have been set in Permendikbud No. 66 of 2013. However, in fact teachers are difficult to make assessment instruments tailored to the form of assessment. This study aims to understand more about the ability of PAI teachers in conducting learning evaluation through non-test assessment (authentic assessment). In this study, researchers used qualitative research with case study research. The data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The result of this research shows that PAI teacher in SMAN 2 Binjai has understood in doing authentic assessment planning through learning implementation plan (RPP). As for carrying out authentic assessment actually PAI teacher in SMAN 2 Binjai has been able, just because of lack of self motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the Influence of Audiovisual Media Usage in Islamic Education Learning at SMP Negeri 1 Sidikalang. The research method employed is a case study with participants consisting of teachers and students from SMP Negeri 1 Sidikalang. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the usage of audiovisual media in Islamic education learning at SMP Negeri 1 Sidikalang has a positive impact on students' understanding, learning motivation, and engagement in the learning process. These findings provide valuable insights for curriculum development and instructional strategies at the secondary school level.

Abstract

The teaching of Islamic morals and ethics in Islamic religious schools involves not only conceptual understanding but also dynamic interaction between teachers and students. This study explores the dynamics of this interaction at SD Tahfizhul Jannah Medan through a qualitative approach using interview and participatory observation methods with teachers and students in Islamic morals and ethics classes. The results indicate the significant role of teacher-student interaction in shaping students' character and morals, as well as the teacher's role as a living example in applying Islamic values. Although it strengthens understanding of Islamic concepts and student motivation, challenges also arise, such as differences in understanding and constraints in applying moral values in the context of modern life. This research provides insights into how teacher-student interaction influences the teaching of Islamic morals and ethics in Islamic religious schools, and its implications for the development of more effective curriculum and teaching practices.

This research uses qualitative observation with a data collection methodology through interviews, observation and documentation. Research results obtained: Values and Ethics approach in learning Islamic Religious Education, Implementation of Interactive and Creative Learning Methods in Islamic Religious Education, Teacher's role as a role model in forming student discipline.

Abstract

There will always be problems in the learning process. The reason is due to problems in providing teaching materials to teachers and students as well as inadequate equipment. At Elementary School 067098, many problems in studying moral beliefs are caused by a lack of enthusiasm in studying moral beliefs. There are still students who are less active, bored when following the learning process, do not pay attention to the teacher's lectures, and are indifferent to the assignments and grades given. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data is collected in word form. In this case, it illustrates the Aquidah's problems regarding moral learning. Researchers collected data through interviews, documents and field notes. Data was analyzed through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data validation. Techniques for ensuring data validity are source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. Based on the results of the researchers, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) The moral theology learning process at Elementary School 067098 is still in the development stage and is one of the best processes that we are trying to achieve. In providing facilities and infrastructure to support the learning of moral theology Elementary School 067098, the problem of learning moral theology Class is seen from two factors. So, first of all, these are internal factors, common problems. With teachers and students. The problem of Aqidah Ethics for Teachers is to convince children about the supernatural and real Islamic Aqidah especially the belief that students cannot concentrate when studying and often feel bored and sleepy during lessons. Problems caused by external factors, especially the mismatch between moral belief learning material and its application at school, at home and in the community. (3) Overcoming problems caused by internal factors, especially teachers' efforts to overcome problems by further improving their abilities, carrying out MGMP activities, and remaining active in communicating with students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of cultivating the library as a literacy place for students at SMP Negeri 1 Setia Janji. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data are school principals, teachers, librarians, students, and school committees. The data collection technique uses interview techniques. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the research are that SMP Negeri 1 Setia Janji has optimized literacy culture in the library. This can be proven by the availability of an adequate, comfortable and very quiet library for students to use, and the creation of class madding every month to foster interest in reading and curiosity about the information available. The implementation of a literacy culture can develop a character in a student to be responsible, fond of reading, a character that appreciates achievement, a character of curiosity, a character of hard work, social care, tolerance, respect for friends, a character of great curiosity, creativity, a character that loves peace. and care about the environment. Cultivating literacy is carried out in order to improve self-quality, potential, and develop positive character in students.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is an essential component within the education system, playing a crucial role in shaping values, morality, and the character of learners. However, facing the ever-changing dynamics of the times, contemporary challenges such as technological advancements, globalization, pluralism, and social changes demand adaptation and readiness of the curriculum to be relevant and responsive to current needs. This paper explores the importance of developing an curriculum that accommodates and responds to these challenges, ensuring that the curriculum provides relevant and meaningful learning in the context of an ever evolving era. The discussion focuses on adjusting curriculum content, innovative teaching methods, and emphasizing character education within the curriculum that aligns with contemporary challenges. Furthermore, an analysis is conducted on the challenges in the curriculum development process, such as limited resources, resistance to change, and strategies to overcome these obstacles.
