Abstract

The system management strategy plays a vital role in maintaining profitability to achieve revenue with a strategic plan that starts in all sectors of life to replace conventional technology-based services. This study aims to improve public health services through hospital environmental conditions so that performance increases and provides added value to increase the hospital's competitive advantage. There are several systems that need to be optimized, so it is necessary to group data with the ease of application systems. The study uses a descriptive descriptive approach with IS business strategy methods, internal and external environmental analysis, SWOT analysis, and McFarlan Strategic Grid analysis on IS applications. From the results of the research that has been done, IS planning is influential in helping management make decisions about a policy in a hospital that is useful for evaluating IS applications that continue to change for the better in the future.

Abstract

Firefighters have responsibilities in fire and rescue incidents that do not exist in fire incidents, such as evacuating wasp nests, rescuing animals trapped in trees or wells, and so on. The importance of understanding the duties of a fire extinguisher is toprovide awareness to the public that with the existence of a fire extinguisher, the management of environmental resources is better maintained to realize environmental safety and security from the dangers of fire disasters. With very rapid technological information, presenting firefighting duties can be more interesting if presented with an adventure-themed 3D educational game. This research uses the Digital Game-Based Learning Instructional Design (DGBL-ID) method and applies a pathfinding algorithm to the path thatwill be taken. This research produces an Android-based firefighting adventure game application. Testing the level of user satisfactionobtained very satisfactory results, which were measured based on Black Box testing with the Guttman Scale method calculation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the service responsiveness at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Ambon City, particularly regarding the implementation of Digital Population Identity (DPI). Public service responsiveness is considered crucial in meeting society's expectations towards technological advancements. The research method applied is qualitative, with data collection through direct observation and interviews at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Ambon City. The research results are expected to provide insights into the service responsiveness of this institution towards the needs and expectations of the community. Thus, this research can offer insights into how the office can enhance its responsiveness to technological changes and societal demands.

Abstract

Anonymizing microdata is a matter while the microdata is published or shared. The purpose of anonymization is sothat sensitive data will not be known by unauthorized parties either directly or indirectly. The technique that is widely used isgeneralization and suppression in the k-anonymity model, however, this technique has the disadvantage that the level of information loss is quite high. In addition, the generated microdata representation due to anonymization is too large, thus it needs to be simplified. In this research, an anonymity model is built using a sensitive attribute distribution technique, namely Simple Distribution of Sensitive Values (SDSV). The main purpose of this method is to reduce the probability of unauthorized parties guessing the owner of sensitive data. Meanwhile, to simplify the representation of the microdata, the aggregative of sensitive value (ASENVA) technique is applied. The result shows that the SDSV metho has less information loss compared to others, while the use of ASENVA simplifies the representation of anonymized tables to an average of 13.67% for aggregated quasi-identifier tables and 6.35% for sensitive tables.

Abstract

The tongue is part of the muscular organs that are essential in the oral (mouth) and maxillofacial systems (jaw, neck, and face). By doing tongue movement exercises can help therapy patients with certain diseases, such as sleep apnea. This research will design and develop LTL applications based on Android and the Web using LTL tools that have been designed by Novie et al. Android-based applications are designed to help monitor the results of FSR sensor output from LTL devices from the user side, and Web-based applications are designed to monitor the progress of the LTL process that has been carried out from the side of medical personnel. The types of tongue exercise movements used in this research are Tongue Slide-1, Tongue Slide-2, and Tongue Press. The Android application will show patient identity data, tongue pressure reading data, and movement repetition data. The Android LTL application design that has been successfully realized presents features to monitor the results of tongue pressure exercise readings. The subjective test results of the appearance and ease of LTL android and LTL web applications get a good assessment because all assessments are in the index of 86.3%-92.5%. Meanwhile, the results of the experimental scenario for LTL System Testing show that the average tongue pressure of all respondents carried out in two experiments for tongue press movement, tongue slide-1 movement, and tongue slide-2 movement, above the set threshold limit of above 500 gf. Further research into experimental scenarios and the use of this application can be applied to real patients.

Abstract

The selection of majors that align with students' interests and talents plays a crucial role in determining their academic success and future careers. However, the Faculty of Psychology faces significant challenges related to the efficiency of the interest-aptitude testing process and the quality of counseling services. Conventional approaches relying on manual forms and booklets have proven to be ineffective and time-consuming. Therefore, this research introduces an innovative solution in the form of a web-based interest test application designed using the agile scrum method. This application is designed to implement the RIASEC theory (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional), which helps identify students' interests based on various types of interests and talents. The RIASEC theory offers a comprehensive framework for understanding students' interest tendencies, subsequently facilitating more accurate major selection. The agile scrum method was chosen to ensure the iterative development of the application and responsiveness to user feedback, thereby making it adaptable to the specific needs of the Faculty of Psychology. In initial testing, this application has shown the potential to improve the efficiency of the interest-aptitude testing process and the quality of counseling services. Features such as an intuitive user interface, automated data processing, and detailed test result reports are expected to reduce the time and resources required in the conventional process. Additionally, this application also allows easier access for students to take interest-aptitude tests anytime and anywhere, thus expanding the reach of counseling services. With this solution, it is hoped that the Faculty of Psychology can address existing constraints and provide more effective and efficient services in assisting students in selecting majors that align with their interests and talents. This application not only provides technological solutions but also contributes to improving the quality of education and career development for students in the future.

Abstract

E-Commerce is a new concept commonly described as the process of buying and selling goods or services over the World Wide Web or the exchange of products, services, and information through information networks, including the internet. Tokopedia, one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, markets many products, including electronics. This study analyzes laptop data from Tokopedia. The vast history of purchase data and customer data in Tokopedia's database offers various ways to process it. One approach is using logistic regression models. The logistic regression results on the three features (price_cat, memory_size, and merk_cat) indicate that all three can be used to create logistic regression equations to determine laptop purchase probability. However, the regression calculations show that the r^2 value for price_cat is the highest at 0.82, indicating that price_cat significantly influences the probability of purchasing a laptop.

Abstract

The use of a permanent magnet synchronous motor as an actuator in a ropeless elevator presents a number of difficulties that must be overcome for the system to be secure and stable. Detent force, one issue with stabilization systems, will be examined in terms of how well it functions under a fuzzy logic controller using a nonlinear test like changes in load and distance to obtain a policy suitable for application in the industrial sector or other human endeavors. The elevator technologies are designed to provide the necessary passenger floors while taking into account the highest standards of elevator performance and passenger pleasure. This work addresses the problem by developing an elevator group controller using a fuzzy algorithm. This project is designed to handle the necessary passenger traffic density while maintaining acceptable passenger waiting times by integrating a fuzzy controller into an elevator system. Within a set of fuzzy rules, three important linguistic variables are added to improve the performance of the elevator group. These consist of load capacity, priority, distance, and average waiting time (AWT). The necessity of floor priority is lessened when there is a great volume of passenger traffic; instead, the expected arrival time should be decreased. While the real elevator prototype is being programmed using a PIC microcontroller acting as a controller, the simulation was completed to visually verify the fuzzy system's priority. Thus, a set of ambiguous guidelines was developed based on real-world issues, primarily the reduction of waiting times and energy usage. The elevator controller will select which elevator will service which incoming hall request when a few are registered. In order to maximize efficiency for financial reasons, high-rise buildings and the ensuing large number of elevators they require provide a significant logistical challenge in terms of time and space conservation. In order to run the elevators properly, complex elevator group control systems are built.

Abstract

In the digital era with high internet penetration and rapid e-commerce growth, the need for digital solutions to increase business efficiency is increasingly urgent. The Android-based travel letter application is here as the right solution to help the sales team manage tasks, track and create reports easily and efficiently. This application offers various benefits, such as easier mobility, efficiency with automation features, increased productivity, and closer consumer relationships. Features such as a camera to upload proof of travel documents, search to make it easier to find travel documents, and travel history to view travel history of travel documents, further increase the value of this application. This application development uses the prototype method and has been tested with user acceptance testing (UAT) and user satisfaction surveys. The results show that 95.3% of the 95 UAT respondents and 99.6% of the 35 survey respondents were satisfied with the application performance. This shows that this Android-based travel document application is suitable for use and can help improve company performance.

Abstract

The major revenue in banking sector is generated long term deposits from customers. Many marketing strategies are implemented to target potential customers by examining their impacted characteristics for decision making. Therefore, machine learning as a scientific computing has drawn many interest in finding best potential customers especially in predicting whether a long term deposit is subscribed or not. In this research, lazy and eager learning of K-Nearest Neighbours (KNN) and Random Forest (RF) is compared. The computation procedure of the prediction makes a sharp distinction between them and accordingly, RF is proven to be more superior than KNN in the term of Accuracy as much as 96%, Precision 93% and F1 score 0.97. Therefore, the ultimate performance of RF relies on the ability to handle non-linearities and its resistance to overfitting makes RF a suitable choice for many predictive applications.
