Abstract

The development of the character of Akhlaqul Karimah among students at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Aisyiyah Islamic Boarding School, Ponorogo, an Islamic boarding school is described in this research. The formation of strong character, noble character, and the ability to internalize religious values is the main focus in Islamic education. This research uses a qualitative approach, with observation and in-depth interviews as the main tools. Research shows that religious education plays an important role in forming the character of Akhlaqul Karimah. The role of educators, social interactions between students, and the Islamic boarding school environment also influence character development. Santri who truly understand the values of Akhlaqul Karimah tend to participate more actively in character development. Pressure from the environment outside the Islamic boarding school and technological interference are other challenges in character formation. Nevertheless, Islamic boarding schools continue to have an important role in building character with good morals. This research provides in-depth insight into the process of developing the character of Akhlaqul Karimah among students at the Tahfidzul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Aisyiyah Ponorogo and underlines the importance of religious education, the role of educators, and the Islamic boarding school environment in forming characters with noble morals. By further understanding the factors that influence character development, it is hoped that we can design more effective educational strategies to form a young generation who have good morals and are able to make positive contributions to society.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the strategy and implementation of the principal's leadership to build students with quality and Islamic character, which is carried out at MI Muhammadiyah 12 Ngampel, Balong, Ponorogo. As the person in charge of educational institutions, the madrasah principal is a leader in education with significant influence and responsibility on the growth of madrasah institutions. In line with this, the role of the madrasah head will have a significant impact on the progress and development of education, with the aim of improving standards and human resources in the quality of education itself. There are several strategies of the principal of MI Muhammadiyah 12 Ngampel in shaping students, namely (1) being a role model for students; (2) Doing dhuha prayers and dhuhur prayers in congregation, Tahfidz, and BTA every day; (3) implementing honesty, this is something that will be very fundemental and very important in the formation of good character for students in accordance with the guidance of Islamic teachings; (4) The development of manners and responsibilities related to behaviour, morals and values in interpersonal interactions as well as in the context of class and society. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach. By collecting data through interviews, surveys, observations and documentation. This research uses qualitative methods to capture and translate phenomena and facts related to the leadership of the principal of MI Muhammadiyah 12 Ngampel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana teknologi berperan dalam kelangsungan pembelajaran di pesantren, khususnya pondok pesantren alam Qur’an Ponorogo pada jenjang SMP kelas 7 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung dalam pesantren biasanya menggunakan metode lama, yakni guru hanya sekedar ceramah menyampaikan materi dan siswa hanya mendengarkan saja. Serta jauh dari kemajuan teknologi. Agar mampu menumbuhkan semangat dan menjadi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan maka seorang guru harus memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi dan informasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah pendahuluan, lapangan dan analisis data. Dari hasil penelitian, bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran di pondok pesantren alam Qur’an Ponorogo sebagian guru sudah menggunakan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, seperti menanyangkan video, gambar ataupun yang lain dengan menggunakan proyektor. Siswa yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran khususnya mata pelajaran IPS ini mereka sangat antusias dalam memperhatikan, minim tidur, dan juga minim kebisingan.  Dalam melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran, guru secara langsung menanyai kepada murid mengenai pelajaran apa yang ada dalam tayangan video pada saat selesainya pembelajaran hari itu, dan evaluasi bulanan yang digunakan berupa soal-soal yang berkaiatan dengan materi pelajaran. Hal ini digunakan guru untuk mengetahui sejauh mana siswa dapat memahami materi pelajaran.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) improving learning outcomes in Islamic Education subjects. Innovation in the Project Based Leadrning (PJBL) model is a present as a solution that can solve the challenges of today’s times and tecnology to improve the learning outcomes to stodent of Muhammadiyah Elementary School. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with a type of library research or historical research using interviews and field observation models. To guarantee the correctness of the data or validate the data, use data triangulation trough three stages, namely data collections, data reductions, and data presentation. The result is an incrase in student learning outcomes in Islamic Education Subject with the audio visual and project based learning. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence and how much influence Islamic religious education has on students' religious character. The research method used is quantitative research. And for data collection used are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The analysis used is simple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 20.0 application to determine the results of the research data that has been carried out. The results of the study can be concluded with data processing stating that there is a significant influence between Islamic religious education learning on the religious character of class XI students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo by 37.6% on students' religious character and the rest is influenced by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges of implementing Sakinah Pedagogy in the Malaysian education system, which aims to promote student happiness and character development based on Karamah Insaniah (human dignity). Using a qualitative approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), the research identifies key challenges, including limited teaching resources, insufficient teacher training, diverse student backgrounds, and the influence of societal norms and technology that often conflict with sakinah values. Teachers’ lack of proficiency in fostering harmonious and value-driven learning environments further complicates implementation. The study recommends tailored professional development programs to enhance teachers' skills and understanding of Sakinah Pedagogy, integration of moral and spiritual values across all subjects, and learner-centered approaches that engage students meaningfully. Collaboration among educators, parents, and communities is deemed essential to creating a holistic educational environment that aligns with the principles of sakinah, ensuring that students develop both academically and morally in a balanced and meaningful way.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of Islamic educational philosophy in elementary school learning. This study uses a qualitative research method, namely a process that uses sentences or words to conduct research and write it. The type of library research aims to explore data and information from various sources, such as books, journals, papers, documents, notes, and others. The results show that implementing Islamic educational philosophy in elementary school learning is very important even though there are challenges that will be faced if the solution is correct. If there is support from various parties, it will undoubtedly be successful. It will be able to form a young generation who have a strong Muslim character to face challenges in the current era of globalization and can form a young generation who are intelligent and have noble character.

Abstract

This research is motivated by several events that show that students are less actively involved in the learning process and do not really understand the material being taught. Students who cannot understand the material being taught can cause students to be less motivated to learn. Therefore, the teacher must choose a suitable model for overcoming these problems. To respond to these problems, research is carried out which aims to increase student motivation and students' ability to understand the material. The method used in this research is qualitative research/literature study or library research, which takes reading sources from secondary data collected. The results of this study indicate that the application of contextual learning models in elementary schools can improve students' ability to understand the material because, in contextual learning, students relate the material to their surrounding environment or also the experience of students so that students can more easily gain an understanding of the material and students are also more motivated by fun learning than that students can be active in class. This study concludes that applying contextual learning models can improve students' ability to understand material through a learning process that suits students' needs.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate and analyze how learning innovation can serve as a solution to enhance student motivation in Elementary Schools (SD). The research explores various learning models and media employed to boost student learning motivation, including Problem-Based Learning (PBL), blended learning, digital learning, interactive learning, cooperative learning (STAD type), active learning (Index Card Match type), and guided inquiry models, as well as learning videos, linktree and wordwall applications, educational games, quizwhizzer and kinemaster applications, Kahoot, geocaching, technology-based animation, and snakes and ladders. The research employs a descriptive qualitative methodology with data collection techniques through a literature review. The literature sources used consist of journal articles published from 2015 to 2024 that are relevant to the research focus. The analysis reveals that digital learning media, specifically learning videos incorporating animation, are frequently utilized to enhance student motivation. These videos facilitate easier comprehension of the material for students. This research suggests that digital learning media in the classroom can be effectively implemented by teachers to enhance student motivation in Elementary Schools.

Abstract

The research was carried out at the Darul Fikri Islamic Boarding School educational institution to find out how the educational institutions at the Islamic boarding school are. This type of research is qualitative and uses ethnography. Techniques for collecting data at Darul Fikri Islamic Boarding School educational institutions using interview methods and direct field observations. The results of this research are to find out the efforts made by students in branding a school education institution and what impact it has after students carry out Branding of educational institutions in schools. The efforts made by students are to study seriously and develop all the potentials possessed by students. Students must synergize in the policies that have been established by educational institutions at the Darul Fikri Islamic Boarding School. The activities of students in comparing educational institutions are as follows: social service as a means of introducing institutions, students participating in competitions held outside of school, involving majlis table outside and inside the school as a place for class XII final exams and so forth.
