Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and sales promotion on consumer purchasing decisions at Nurza Brownies Store in Medan. The number of samples taken in this study were 50 consumers. The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire to 50 consumers of the Nurza Brownies shop in Medan. The data analysis method used is the Validity, Reliability and Multiple Linear Regression method. The results of the partial test analysis show that product quality and sales promotion have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. Furthermore, the results of simultaneous testing show that the variables of product quality and sales promotion have a significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions. The Adjusted R Square value is 0.771 or 77.1%. This means that 77.1% of consumer purchasing decisions are influenced by the two independent variables, while the remaining 22.9% of decisions are influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Food is one of the basic human needs. If these needs are not met, both in quantity and quality at the individual and household levels, it will interfere with the achievement of a healthy, active and sustainable quality of life and can lead to various health and nutrition problems. Stunting is one of the chronic nutritional problems caused by low access and affordability to food. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between household food security and the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 6-23 months in Asahan Regency in 2024. This type of research is observational with a case-control design. The research sample was under-fives aged 6-23 months, totaling 126 for each case and control group with a ratio of 1:1. The sampling technique used the total sampling method. Data were analyzed in stages, namely univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. Bivariate statistical test using chi-square and multivariate using logistic regression. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that household food security was associated with the incidence of stunting in children aged 6-23 months (p=0.04, OR=2.70, 95% CI: 0.94-8.77). External variables that were significantly associated with the incidence of stunting in children aged 6-23 months were maternal height (p=0.00, OR=2.03, 95% CI: 1.14-3.65) and history of LBW (p=0.03, OR=3.02, 95% CI: 0.98-11.04). Abstract

This study's goal was to examine how the Production Industry's Return on Assets, Debt to Equity Ratio, along with Current Ratio affected share prices in the foods and beverages subsector from 2019 to 2022. Purposive sampling is used in this research to obtain financial along with annual reports from the Indonesia Stock Exchange's official website. The analysis approach used is multiple regression. This study obtained 72 data. The findings demonstrated that the current ratio, debt to equity ratio, as well as return on assets overall substantially increased stock prices. While the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2) value is 23.8%, which means that the contribution of return on assets, debt to equity ratio along with current ratio in explaining the stock price is 23.8%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the role of innovation and creativity in increasing the competitiveness of the Shiflow business in the city of Medan. The data collection technique used was a survey. This technique refers to the use of questionnaires or questionnaires to collect information from respondents who represent the population or sample you are researching. Data analysis uses correlation analysis, namely determining whether there is a statistical relationship between two or more variables. In this research there are simple linear regression analysis which contains classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing in the form of the coefficient of determination (r) and partial test (t test). The research results show that innovation has a significant effect on increasing competitiveness. This is shown based on the results of the t test, namely the Innovation variable with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 so it can be concluded that hypothesis 1 (H1) is accepted. Creativity does not have a significant effect on increasing competitiveness. This is shown based on the results of the t test, namely the creativity variable with a significance value of 0.029 > 0.05 so it can be concluded that hypothesis 2 (H2) is rejected.

Abstract

In today’s digital age, social media has become one of the most effective tools for marketing a variety of, including the food and beverage industry. Platforms like Instagram and TikTok provide a great opportunity for to interact directly with their customers like Bube Boba Cafe. As a result, BubeBoba Cafe must maximize both of these platforms in its marketing strategy. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive method. This method is used to provide a more detailed description of the impact of Instagram and TikTok's social media promotion innovations on the recruitment of new customers at Bube Boba Cafe. The sample used in this study is a BubeBoba Cafe customer who uses social media Instagram and tikTok to learn information about products and promo cafes. The data collection technique used in this study is with interviews and study of libraries or written sources such as books, previous research, papers, data collected and then analyzed to find out the impact of Instagram and TikTok social media promotion innovations on the recruitment of new customers at Bube Boba Cafe. Data analysis is carried out using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques to obtain a more detailed description and detail of the results of the research. To run a strategy using social media touch. Bube Cafe uses promotional tools in carrying out its promotional activities, as follows: 1. Advertising The advertising media on the social media of TikTok is the tikTok ads, from which there are several types of ads such as pre-roll asd is the video ad that is started when the user opens tiktok, in-feed ads is the advertising video that appears when the users of tiktok menscroll feed, promoted hastag challenges is video that encourages the users to use special tags, and last branded effects is the filter of special effects to be used by the creators of content in video, these effects are similar to the filters that exist in snapchat and instagram but which is the differentiator is this filter displays special information. 2. Direct marketing is like making interactive videos.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of customer trust on savings interest in Shariah banks. Shariah banks, which operate based on Islamic principles, have gained popularity globally due to their unique financial products and services. However, customer trust remains a crucial factor in determining the success of these banks. This research aims to investigate the relationship between customer trust and savings interest in Shariah banks, with the goal of providing insights for these institutions to enhance customer loyalty and retention. The study employs a survey methodology and uses a sample of Shariah bank customers. The results indicate that customer trust significantly influences savings interest in Shariah banks, suggesting that banks should focus on building trust with their customers to increase savings interest.

Abstract

The application of sharia economic principles in Islamic banking has a significant impact on banking financial performance. This research discusses how the implementation of sharia economic principles in Islamic banking can improve banking financial performance. The research results show that Islamic banking which applies sharia economic principles has better financial performance compared to conventional banking. Sharia economic principles such as ethical risk management, development of Islamic capital markets, and community economic empowerment contribute to improving the financial performance of Islamic banking. In synthesis, this research shows that the application of sharia economic principles in Islamic banking can improve banking financial performance and increase public awareness about the importance of sharia economic principles in financial management.

Abstract

In the ever-evolving digital era, communication strategies have become crucial for effectively reaching consumers. This study aims to explore and analyze innovative communication strategies that can be used to engage consumers in the digital age. The research method employed is descriptive analysis and literature review to examine various communication strategies that have been implemented in the digital context. The findings of the study reveal that innovative communication strategies such as the utilization of social media, multimedia content, and voice recognition technology have a positive impact on fostering consumer engagement and expanding market reach. The key takeaway from this research is the significance of adapting to technological trends and developing communication strategies aligned with the preferences of digital consumers to enhance marketing effectiveness and boost business competitiveness. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of how communication strategies can be tailored to the digital era to achieve better marketing outcomes.

Abstract

The mining industry is an important industry for the government, and the development of stock dividends in the mining sector is quite volatile, where the smaller the profit generated, the smaller the stock dividends obtained. Dividend policy is a component that cannot be separated from the interests of management and shareholders. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of corporate social responsibility (CSR), leverage, and liquidity on the company's dividend policy. This study applies quantitative method. The CSR variable is measured using the GRI Standard indicator, the leverage variable is measured using the debt equity ratio (DER), the liquidity ratio is measured using the current ratio (CR), and the dependent variable, namely dividend policy, is measured using the dividend payout ratio (DPR). This study uses secondary data sources, namely annual financial reports, and purposive sampling as a sampling technique. The data were analysed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study revealed that there was a positive but not significant effect between the CSR variable and dividend policy, the leverage variable had a positive effect on dividend policy; and the liquidity variable had an effect on dividend policy. This research is expected to be useful as a source of information in the learning process and also to gain deeper knowledge about the effect of corporate social responsibility, leverage, and liquidity on dividend policy in manufacturing companies in the mining and energy industry sectors that are listed on the IDX for 2020–2022.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial management of the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) "Harapan Baru" in Tombulan Timur Village, Pinogaluman District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This type of research is qualitative research that is descriptive in nature. The data sources used in this study are primary data and data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. With the data analysis method, namely collecting data, analysis and conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the financial management of BUMDes Harapan Baru is still simple, the planning carried out by BUMDes Harapan Baru by holding meetings to form RAB, the implementation is carried out by the treasurer with receipts as proof of disbursement of funds, the recording carried out by the treasurer is still general, the accountability carried out by BUMDes Harapan Baru is by providing reports to the BPD and submitted to the community during the village deliberation once a year, the supervision carried out by the BUMDes is appropriate, namely by providing financial reports from the BUMDes to the village BPD, and the BPD has come to supervise.
