Abstract

Vocational High Schools are designed to produce graduates who are ready to enter the workfoce. However, the persistent gap between graduates competencies and industry demands leads to a high unemployment rate, particulary among SMK graduates. This discrepancy suggest that theoretical knowledge alone is insufficient without practical experience and technical competencies. Prior studies have explored various factors influencing work readiness, but limited research has focused specifically on the combined influence of Field Work Practices (PKL) and hard skills in the field of Office Management. This study aims to examine the effect of Field Work Practices and hard skills on the work readiness of 12th-grade students majoring in Office Management at public vocational schools in East Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. A total of 123 students from for public vocational schools were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation (SEM) method with SmartPLS. The results indicate that both Field Work Practices and hard skills have a positive and significant effect on students work readiness. Field Work Practices contribute to work readiness by exposing students to real workplace situations while hard skills ensure the mastery of relevant technical competencies. The findings highlight that work readiness is not solely determined by academic knowledge, but also by the practical experience and skills gained through structured industry exposure and technical training. Thus, schools are encouraged to enhance PKL implementation and hard skill development programs to improve student readiness in facing the challenges of the professional world. Abstract

This study examines the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilization through the Cici AI application, student learning autonomy, and the learning environment on academic performance in the Office Technology subject. While previous research has explored these variables separately, only a limited number of studies have investigated their combined effect, especially within the context of vocational education. To address this research gap, the study adopts a quantitative explanatory approach with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from 105 students in Grades X and XI at SMKN 16 Jakarta using a structured online questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0. The findings indicate that all three independent variables have a significant and positive impact on student learning outcomes. These results underscore the importance of integrating technological innovation, learner autonomy, and a supportive educational environment to improve academic achievement in vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy and peer conformity on cheating behavior in Class X vocational high schools in Jakarta. This research applies a quantitative approach through survey methods. The population used consisted of 180 students, with a sample of 120 students obtained through the proportional random sampling technique. Data collection with a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis method IBM SPSS Statistics Version 26 was used in this study. The study findings indicate that the self-efficacy variable and the cheating behavior variable have a partial relationship, as evidenced by the t-value -12.080 > t-table value -1.658. The peer conformity variable shows a partial relationship with the cheating behavior variable, as evidenced by the t-value 11.292 > the t-table value 1.658. The simultaneous test results indicate that the self-efficacy variable and peer conformity have a simultaneous relationship with the cheating behavior variable, F-value 400.124 > F-table value 3.07. Implications of this study: (1) Cheating behavior variable have the highest percentage indicator, time 30%. This indicates that students cheat during certain periods, such as the last minutes before the exam paper is collected, when the teacher is busy, there is no exam supervisor, or when the teacher is not paying attention to them. (2) Self-efficacy variable has the highest percentage indicator in generality at 33.6%. This indicates that low self-efficacy among students affects their lack of focus in class due to a heavy homework load, difficulty in recovering from failure, and reluctance to try again. (3) The peer conformity variable was found to have the highest percentage indicator, namely individual agreement within the group, at 33.4%. That students are united in telling the teacher they forgot to do the homework, united in not doing the teacher's homework, or united in collaborating during the exam.

Abstract

Learning discipline in the context of education refers to students' desire and attitude toward the learning process as well as their capacity to adhere to regulations and study plans. Learning discipline entails following guidelines, maintaining regular study schedules, and being able to turn in assignments on time. Furthermore, it is intimately linked to students' dedication to the learning process, personal motivation, and time management. Investigating the degree to which the peer and family environments affect students' learning discipline at SMK Negeri 12 Jakarta is the aim of this study. 103 students made up the sample size for this quantitative study, which was then re-proportioned. Proportional random sampling, a probability sampling approach, was used to choose the respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the study's data. With a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, the results demonstrated that peers and the home environment both significantly affect learning discipline at the same time. Furthermore, the two factors account for 58.5% of the construction of student learning discipline, according to the study of the coefficient of determination (R²). As a result, it's critical to establish an environment that promotes learning in both the home and the classroom. This includes creating a cozy study space, reducing outside distractions, and promoting candid dialogue between educators, parents, and students.

Abstract

Education is a key tool for personal and societal growth, providing the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a complex world. This study explores the development and implementation of LITERATA, an inclusive and disabilities-friendly curriculum designed to improve access to quality education for students with disabilities in Binjai, North Sumatra. Using a qualitative approach, the research draws on secondary data from academic publications, government policies, and case studies of inclusive programs. A comparative analysis method was applied to evaluate gaps between national regulations and actual school practices, while thematic coding helped uncover recurring challenges. The results show that many students still face significant barriers, ranging from a lack of trained teachers to insufficient learning resources. LITERATA responds by offering adaptive teaching methods, accessible materials like braille and digital platforms, and the integration of life and soft skills. The curriculum is supported by a structured three-year implementation plan involving stakeholders from local governments, educators, and community groups. Overall, the study finds that LITERATA offers a promising and scalable model for inclusive education that prioritizes equity, accessibility, and long-term sustainability.
