Abstract

The development of the beauty industry in Indonesia has increased significantly, along with the high participation of consumers in providing online reviews, especially through the Female Daily platform. These reviews contain opinions that can be analyzed to determine consumer sentiment towards a product. This study seeks to perform sentiment analysis on beauty product reviews by applying two text classification techniques: Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naive Bayes. The research stages include collecting review data from Female Daily, text preprocessing (such as tokenization, stemming, and stopword removal), and sentiment classification into two categories, namely Yes and No. The evaluation results indicate that the SVM method outperforms Naive Bayes, achieving a higher level of accuracy. SVM is able to capture more complex patterns in text data, while Naive Bayes tends to produce lower performance due to the assumption of independence between features. The evaluation results demonstrate that the SVM method performs better than Naive Bayes, achieving higher accuracy scores. SVM excels at recognizing more intricate patterns in textual data, whereas Naive Bayes often shows lower performance due to its assumption of feature independence. Overall, the majority of user reviews are positive, reflecting satisfaction with certain beauty products. This study shows that the SVM method is more recommended for text-based sentiment analysis of reviews in the beauty industry, especially in the context of diverse and unstructured consumer review data. As for the accuracy results of the Naive Bayes method is 80% and the accuracy results of the SVM method is 87%.

Abstract

The Audio Media course in the Educational Technology Study Program plays a significant role in enhancing the effectiveness of learning. Audio media such as podcasts, lecture recordings, and interactive materials offer variety in content delivery and enrich the learning experience through sensory exploration. The diversity of audio media formats also allows information to be delivered in ways that accommodate various student learning styles. With ongoing technological advancements, research and development activities are crucial to identify current trends, technologies, and teaching methods. As part of efforts to support the learning process, a reference book was developed in the form of an e-book accessible via Android devices. This development follows a Research and Development (R&D) approach, based on the perspective of Borg and Gall, who state that this approach is effective in designing and validating educational products. The e-book development went through several stages: analysis, design, and development. The analysis stage was conducted to identify student needs, while the design stage focused on creating an engaging product that enhances learning outcomes. The development stage involved product feasibility testing using a 100-point rating scale. Validation results showed that the e-book is highly feasible for use. From the content expert validation, a score of 87.1 was obtained across 8 assessed aspects. Meanwhile, the media expert validation yielded a score of 84.1 across 12 aspects. Field testing revealed that 90% of students found the module easy to understand, 85% stated that the material was presented clearly and systematically, and 80% appreciated the visual design and illustrations in the module. Based on these results, the Android-based e-book is expected to serve as an effective learning resource that supports the advancement of learning in the Audio Media course.

Abstract

Scandal refers to news about actions or statements of individuals or groups that violate the law or moral principles. Scandals trigger public reactions, political trials, and legal investigations. This study examines the intertextuality of celebrity scandals as depicted in the South Korean drama Taxi Driver season 2 and the documentary Burning Sun. Using Riffaterre's Intertextuality theory (1990), the research explores the relationship between these two media texts, focusing on how fictional and factual narratives adapt and reinterpret real-life events. The qualitative descriptive method is employed to analyze plot and setting elements, revealing both obligatory and aleatory intertextual connections. The findings highlight how Taxi Driver dramatizes the Burning Sun scandal with creative liberties, such as fictional names and exaggerated plots, while the documentary adheres to factual reporting. The study underscores the role of intertextuality in bridging fiction and reality, offering insights into how media shapes public perception of scandals involving power, exploitation, and justice.

Abstract

This independent community service program aims to help address the challenges faced by the partner, particularly their limited knowledge and skills in preparing international-standard menus for the Gastrodiplomacy Local Experience event, which was attended by 38 countries and held in the Green Tourism Village of Bilebante. The program began with a pre-field stage involving observation, semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and focus group discussions over three days to identify the partner’s needs and challenges. During the implementation stage, menu planning was carried out collaboratively with seven tourism village managers, including the head of the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS), culinary business operators, and the person in charge of the culinary division from the local working group (POKJA). The mentoring produced two internationally standardized menu sets consisting of appetizers, soups, main courses, and desserts. The dishes were presented traditionally using the communal begibung concept while being adjusted to international tastes by emphasizing local uniqueness and wisdom. Feedback from the 38 diplomatic delegates on the presented menus was largely positive. The collaboration of local ingredients, traditional values, and global sustainability principles highlighted the role of cuisine as a communicative and transformative diplomatic medium. These outcomes demonstrate the contribution of local cuisine in shaping Indonesia’s image and strengthening the position of local communities in international-standard hospitality. In the future, similar activities are expected to continue, aiming to enhance the capacity of rural communities to adapt to the dynamics of global tourism without neglecting their cultural roots.

Abstract

Since its introduction, technology that utilizes semiconductor chips to perform data processing and computing or commonly known as microprocessors has experienced various advances and improvements in every aspect. Various innovations have been produced by microprocessor manufacturing companies, namely Intel, to adjust the Central Processing Unit (CPU) to its function. Intel periodically recreates microprocessors that have previously been on the market. The purpose of this study is to determine how significant the difference in performance is between one generation and the next. The launch of CPU products with the same type, but from different generations, shows that each CPU launched at different times always has an increase in performance compared to its predecessor. So, what causes this increase in performance? This question will be answered through testing between the Intel Core i7-10610U and Intel Core i7-1265U Passmark software version. 11. 1 and CPU-Z version. 15. 0. The use of several test tools aims to ensure that the benchmarking results are not biased from only one source and provide a comprehensive picture of the performance of each processor. The benchmarking method is the main measuring tool, while performance comparison is the purpose of the analysis. The tests performed include integer math, compression, floating point math, extended instructions/Streaming SIMD Extensions (SSE), encryption, sorting, Frequency, Single-Thread and Multi-Thread. The results of this test show that the Intel Core i7-1265U has superior performance to the Intel Core i7-10610U. This is because the number of cores, threads, and bandwidth owned by the Intel Core i7-1265U is larger and more, namely 12 threads and 54.1 GB/s for bandwidth, while the Intel Core i7-10610U has 8 threads and 45.8 GB/s bandwidth.
