Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Virtual Reality (VR) technology as a promotional medium fortourism in Bawean Island. The research aims to assess how VR can enhance tourist experiences andattract more visitors. The methodology employed is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Theresults indicate that both TAM variables significantly contribute to user acceptance and satisfactionwith VR as a promotional tool. The findings suggest that integrating richer and more interactive VRcontent can enhance its effectiveness as a tourism promotion tool.Keyword: Virtual Reality, Technology Acceptance Model, tourism, Bawean Island, tourism promotion.

Abstract

Air conditioners (ACs) are widely used cooling devices in various places such as homes, offices, ANDeducational institutions. Continuous use of ACs often leads to malfunctions that require hANDling bytechnicians. However, newly graduated technicians often struggle to diagnose malfunctions efficiently due toa lack of experience. To address this issue, this research aims to develop a web-based expert system using theforward chaining method, designed to assist AC technicians in diagnosing malfunctions quickly ANDaccurately. The forward chaining method is employed to trace symptoms through a series of questions thathelp technicians identIFy the parts that need repair, covering 30 symptoms AND 13 AC malfunctions. Thisexpert system is expected to improve the efficiency of technicians in diagnosing AND repairing ACs. Theresults of the research indicate that the developed expert system functions well, facilitates technician accessfrom anywhere with a user-friendly interfaceKeywords: Air conditioner, expert system, forward chaining, malfunction diagnosis, web-based.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a illness that significantly affects the global population. This study explores theimplementation of Naive Bayes to predict diabetes mellitus. The problems faced include the complexity ofclinical datasets, feature diversity, and the need for accurate predictions. The proposed solution is to usethe Naive Bayes classification algorithm that utilizes a simple but strong assumption about featureindependence. The system is described with steps involving data pre-processing, dataset partitioning,Naive Bayes model training, and performance evaluation. The datasets used include age, gender, weight,HbA1C, fasting blood sugar. The results and testing show that the Naive Bayes model can provide fairlyaccurate predictions for diabetes mellitus, with performance assessed through evaluation metrics such as ,recall, accuracy, F1-score, and precision. In conclusion, the implementation of Naive Bayes is a fairlyeffective approach to predicting diabetes mellitus. In this study, The performance of the Naïve Bayesmethod is considered quite accurate, this is evidenced in the highest accuracy score of 85.71%. Despite itssimplicity, this algorithm can handle the complexity of the dataset and provide reliable predictions.Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Classification, and Naïve Bayes.

Abstract

A teacher plays a very important role in improving the quality of education for students at school. The qualityof education at school can be assessed from the level of quality of teachers in carrying out various activities,roles and responsibilities at school. One of the ways that schools and education agencies can improve thequality of education is by conducting teacher performance assessments, to determine the quality of teacherperformance. Therefore, evaluating teacher performance is very important, so that teachers can alwaysimprove their role in every student at school. Unfortunately, the teacher performance assessment process atSMAN 1 Ngantang is still manual, intuitive and less than objective, so the assessment results are stillconsidered unsatisfactory. Because of this, it is important to build a Decision Support System for TeacherPerformance Assessment at SMAN 1 Ngantang, to make it easier for schools to assess teacher performanceat school. Calculations in this system will use the MAUT method, this method was chosen because it canassess and rank alternatives based on the preference values and weights that have been given to each criterion.Keywords: Decision Support System, Teacher Performance Assessment, MAUT Method

Abstract

The distribution of social assistance is one of the government's efforts to improve the welfare of the community,especially for low-income families. In the village of Purisemanding, the process of distributing Direct CashAssistance (BLT) often faces challenges in identifying the right recipients due to the manual data collectionmethods that are prone to errors and manipulation. This study aims to implement the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN)method in the classification system for social assistance recipients to enhance the accuracy and efficiency ofBLT distribution. The study concludes that the use of the KNN method in the classification system for socialassistance recipients can improve objectivity in the process of determining recipients. This, in turn, affects theefficiency of the data collection and distribution process. This system is expected to be a practical solution forvillage governments in addressing the issues related to social assistance distribution that have been encounteredso far.Keywords: K-Nearest Neighbor, KNN, classification, social assistance, Purisemanding Village.

Abstract

El-Yamien 1 Tuban Kindergarten is an Islamic-based kindergarten and is located in Tuban District. Thisresearch focuses on developing a Decision Support System for Assessment of Children's Learning Progressat El-Yamien 1 Tuban Kindergarten using the web-based SMART Method. This research problemaddresses the inefficiency of the existing manual assessment process in schools, which hinders teachers inevaluating children's learning development effectively. The goal was to develop a web-based system thatwould automate the assessment process and provide ratings of children's learning progress. Using theSimple Multi Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method for decision making, focusing on five criteriafor assessing children's learning progress. The results show that the web-based system simplifies the processof inputting teacher data and automatically produces assessment results, making it easier to evaluatechildren's learning progress. The implications of this research indicate the importance of incorporatingdigital technology in education to improve assessment processes and improve decision making.Keywords: Decision Support System, SMART, Children's Learning Development.

Abstract

Harga pokok produksi berpengaruh pada harga jual, tetapi devin sablon masih manual dalammemperhitungkan harga pokok produksinya, yang memicu kesalahan serta belummengkalkulasikan seluruh pengeluaran dan berpengaruh pada harga jual. Maka dibutuhkansistem informasi yang bisa membantu mereka untuk mendapatkan harga pokok produksi danharga jual yang tepat. Metode full costing digunakan untuk menciptakan sistem informasidengan berteknologikan website yang bisa menghitung harga pokok produksi per-itemdengan memperhitungkan semua biaya yang berbengaruh. Sistem juga bisamengkalkulasikan laba dan harga jual dengan memasukkan persentase markup yangdiinginkan. Hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa biaya produksi yang dikeluarkandevin sablon pada bulan Februari 2024 adalah Rp. 19.271.500, harga pokok produksi per-item senilai Rp. 48.788, estimasi laba Rp. 29.273, dan harga jual senilai Rp. 78.061 Dengandemikian, perusahaan lebih muda mengelola biaya produksi dan membuat harga jual yangsesuai.Kata kunci: Sistem Informasi, Harga Pokok Produksi, Full Costing.

Abstract

AbstractThe ornamental fish farming industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth in recent years. This isdriven by the high demand for ornamental fish both domestically and abroad. Ornamental fish have highaesthetic value and can be beautiful decorations for homes, offices, and other places. One of the importantfactors in ornamental fish farming is the selection of the right type of fish. The type of fish chosen must besuitable for environmental conditions and have a high selling value. There are many types of ornamentalfish available on the market, so it is necessary to make the right choice to maximize the profits fromornamental fish farming. One of the decision-making methods that can be used to select ornamental fish isMulti-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA).MOORA is an MCDM method used to select the best alternative from several alternatives based on severalcriteria. Molly Jaya Indonesia is a micro-scale company engaged in the ornamental fish cultivation andsales sector, especially freshwater ornamental fish such as molly fish, koi fish, and betta fish. Molly JayaIndonesia is located in Dusun Surowono, Canggu Village, Badas District, Kediri Regency. Initially, MollyJaya Indonesia was a family business and has been passed down to the fourth generation. The name MollyJaya Indonesia was coined in 2018 and in 2019 began to enter the digital business through social media.One of the obstacles faced by Molly Jaya Indonesia is the lack of efficiency in selecting broodstock with aquality level that has been predetermined, because the sorting procedure in selecting these fish is still donemanually, which requires extra care and patience to identify the fish one by one. Abstract

The Education and Culture Office of Jombang District implements a system of selecting the best employeesevery year to improve employee morale and reward their performance. Currently, the selection is donemanually, with subjective selection by the head of the office. This process takes a long time, and the resultsare subjective without standardized calculations. To improve accuracy and efficiency, a decision-makingsystem is needed that can assist in determining the best employees. One of the methods used is MFEP(Multi Factor Evaluation Process), with criteria such as work quality, responsibility, teamwork, discipline,and attendance. This method allows determining the weight of each attribute, ranking the suitability ofcriteria and alternatives, and ranking the best weighted data from several alternatives. Using the MFEPmethod and a sample of 36 employee data points, the highest value obtained is 8.8 and the lowest value is6.3. After calculation and ranking, a selection will be made to determine the best employee based on theranking value results.Keywords: best employee, selection method, decision-making system, ranking.

Abstract

Information technology is developing very rapidly, many companies face complex challenges in theiroperational management, including CV. Perdana Mitra Inovasi Jombang, an ISP (Internet Service Provider)that is a subnet of PT. Digital Media Telematika Lamongan. This company struggles with selecting the besttechnicians due to a manual selection process that is highly subjective. Network reliability and servicequality, which depend on the technicians' skills, are key to maintaining customer satisfaction andcompetitiveness in the market. Therefore, a system that utilizes information technology is needed to enhanceobjectivity and consistency in technician selection. The MOORA method was chosen to develop this systembecause it effectively addresses multi-criteria problems by considering various relevant factors. MOORAallows for the evaluation of alternatives based on established criteria and assigns weights according to theirimportance, such as attendance, discipline, skills, teamwork, and attitude. With this implementation of themethod, the company is expected to optimize the process of selecting the best technicians, provide monthlyperformance rewards, and motivate technicians to contribute significantly. This system is anticipated topositively contribute to the company by maintaining customer satisfaction and sustaining competitiveness inthe market.Keywords: Selection, Best Technician, Decision Support System, Moora.
