Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven organizations to integrate Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) into human resource (HR) management. The use of these technologies has shifted decision-making paradigms from intuition-based approaches to data-driven ones that are more accurate, fast, and objective. This study aims to analyze the role of Big Data and AI in supporting smart decision-making in HR management through a literature review. The method applied is a systematic review of relevant scholarly journals, books, and industry reports published between 2015 and 2024. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify patterns of utilization, benefits, and implementation challenges. The findings show that Big Data plays a role in processing massive information covering the entire employee lifecycle, while AI provides predictive and prescriptive analytics that generate strategic recommendations. The integration of both technologies has proven effective in improving recruitment, performance appraisal, workforce planning, and employee retention. However, the implementation of these technologies still faces challenges such as algorithmic bias, data privacy, and infrastructure limitations. Therefore, ethical, transparent, and gradual implementation strategies are necessary to optimize the benefits of these technologies.

Abstract

This study examines the role of social entrepreneurship in enhancing business resilience in disaster-prone communities. By leveraging social enterprises, these communities can develop adaptive strategies to recover from economic disruptions caused by disasters. Social entrepreneurship not only addresses immediate needs such as housing, food, and healthcare, but it also fosters long-term sustainable solutions by creating jobs, providing access to resources, and building community capacity. The research identifies the challenges faced by social enterprises, including limited access to resources, markets, and capital. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of collaborative efforts between the public, private, and civil sectors in optimizing the impact of social entrepreneurship. This paper concludes by highlighting successful case studies and proposing strategies for integrating social entrepreneurship into disaster resilience frameworks.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance with a focus on global and local contexts. Through a literature review, it was found that organizational culture significantly influences employee performance, including aspects of motivation, commitment, and productivity. A culture that supports open communication, recognition of achievements, and effective leadership plays a crucial role in enhancing individual and team performance. However, this relationship is affected by cultural differences between collectivistic and individualistic societies. Additionally, factors such as leadership, reward systems, and internal communication mediate this relationship. The study identifies the mechanisms underlying the influence of organizational culture on employee performance and offers practical recommendations for multinational organizations to design strategies that align with local cultural contexts. The findings aim to provide deeper insights into how organizational culture can enhance employee performance across diverse cultural backgrounds.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of kinesthetic guidance as an innovative rehabilitation intervention for individuals with mental disorders (ODGJ) at BPS Margo Widodo. The primary challenge addressed is the limitation of conventional, monologic guidance methods, which result in low participant engagement and reduced responsiveness to the material. A descriptive qualitative approach used field studies through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with staff and beneficiaries. The findings indicate that integrating physical activity into the guidance process significantly enhances participants' motivation, focus, and emotional stability. Applying kinesthetic guidance, which emphasises direct movement and interactive communication, creates a more dynamic learning environment and supports the development of cognitive and affective abilities among ODGJ. These results suggest that this innovative approach may serve as an effective alternative in the mental health rehabilitation of special groups. Consequently, the study is expected to contribute strategically to the development of policies and practices that are more responsive and adaptive to the needs of individuals with mental disorders in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to present a review and analysis of the influence of changes in foreign exchange rates (rupiah exchange rate) and inflation rates on share prices of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The problem in this journal review is whether changes in foreign exchange rates and inflation rates can affect banking share prices. The research results show that changes in foreign exchange rates and inflation rates significantly influence banking company share prices. Fluctuations in foreign exchange rates and high inflation rates can increase uncertainty for investors, thereby impacting their investment decisions.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of financial technology (fintech) has fundamentally transformed the way individuals’ access, use, and manage financial services. Digital platforms such as mobile banking, peer-to-peer lending, digital wallets, robo-advisors, and cryptocurrencies have increased financial inclusion while simultaneously introducing new risks related to data security, consumer protection, and financial decision-making (Arner et al., 2017; Gomber et al., 2017). In this context, digital financial literacy has emerged as a critical capability for individuals to navigate increasingly complex financial ecosystems. This literature review synthesizes international peer-reviewed studies on digital financial literacy in the fintech era, focusing on conceptual development, key dimensions, determinants, and socio-economic implications. The findings indicate that digital financial literacy extends beyond traditional financial knowledge by incorporating digital skills, technological awareness, and behavioral competencies (Morgan & Trinh, 2019; OECD, 2020). Higher levels of digital financial literacy are consistently associated with improved financial behavior, increased adoption of fintech services, reduced vulnerability to fraud, and enhanced financial well-being (Lusardi & Mitchell, 2014; Xiao & O’Neill, 2016). However, substantial disparities persist across age, income, education, and geographic location. This review concludes that strengthening digital financial literacy requires coordinated policy interventions, inclusive education strategies, and responsible fintech design to ensure that digital finance contributes to sustainable and equitable economic development.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in national and global economies by contributing to employment creation, income distribution, and local economic development. However, MSME activities may also generate environmental impacts, particularly related to waste management, resource use, and pollution. Environmental business law serves as a critical legal instrument to regulate, guide, and control business activities to ensure environmental protection and sustainable development. This article examines the role of environmental business law in governing MSME activities, identifies key challenges in the implementation of environmental regulations for MSMEs, and proposes strategies to strengthen legal compliance while supporting economic sustainability. Using a normative legal research method supported by a literature review of international journals, this study finds that although environmental legal frameworks are increasingly comprehensive, MSMEs face structural and institutional constraints in compliance. Therefore, adaptive, educative, and inclusive legal approaches are essential to promote environmentally responsible MSMEs without undermining their economic viability.

Abstract

The globalization of economic activities has intensified cross-border communication, positioning Business English as a critical tool in international trade, multinational corporations, and global professional environments. English has evolved beyond a general lingua franca into a specialized medium shaped by business practices, digital communication, and intercultural interaction. This literature review examines key trends and insights related to Business English in the globalized economy by synthesizing peer-reviewed international studies published over the past two decades. The review explores the conceptualization of Business English, its role in global business communication, emerging trends influenced by digitalization and remote work, and the implications for workforce competence and education. Findings indicate that Business English increasingly emphasizes pragmatic competence, intercultural communication skills, and adaptability to digital business contexts rather than native-like linguistic accuracy. The literature also highlights persistent inequalities in access to Business English proficiency, particularly between developed and developing economies, and across organizational hierarchies. The review concludes that Business English functions as a strategic economic resource that shapes employability, organizational performance, and global competitiveness. Strengthening Business English education requires aligning language training with real-world business practices, technological change, and intercultural awareness. Future research should focus on longitudinal workplace studies, digital business discourse, and inclusive language policies in global organizations.

Abstract

The integration of Human Resource Management (HRM) with business strategy has become a critical concern for organizations seeking sustainable competitive advantage in an increasingly dynamic and globalized environment. Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) emphasizes the alignment between human capital practices and organizational objectives, positioning employees as strategic assets rather than operational resources. This literature-based analysis synthesizes key theoretical frameworks and empirical findings on the relationship between HRM and business strategy. Drawing exclusively on international peer-reviewed journals, the study examines dominant SHRM models, mechanisms of strategic alignment, and the impact of integrated HRM systems on organizational performance. The analysis reveals that effective integration enhances firm performance through improved employee commitment, capability development, and organizational flexibility. However, the literature also highlights persistent challenges related to implementation, contextual fit, and measurement of HRM outcomes. The study concludes that integrating HRM with business strategy is not a linear or universal process, but a dynamic capability shaped by organizational context, leadership, and external environmental factors.
