Abstract

The application of learning models that are not in accordance with the abilities and intellectual background of students makes learning activities not optimal so as to make Higher Order Thinking Skills and learning independence of students low. The effort made is to apply a model that presents a variety of representations so that students can be given the opportunity to receive information according to their abilities, namely the Multiple Representation model. This study aims to determine the effect of the Multiple Representation model on HOTS and the learning independence of grade 10 students in Biology at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung. Data collection techniques include essay questions, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that the students' HOTS Posttest scores were in the good category with an average N-gain for the experimental class of 0.63 and an average N-gain for the control class of 0.35. The same is true for the posttest scores of students' learning independence with an average N-gain for the experimental class of 0.54 and an average N-gain for the control class of 0.15. The results of data analysis show that the data is normal and homogeneous. The results of hypothesis calculations with the Manova test show that the Sig value is 0.000 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an effect of the Multiple Representation model on HOTS and Learning Independence of 10th grade students in Biology at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Talking about the philosophy of science, it is necessary to ask yourself a question, the extent to which this branch of philosophy has meaning and relevance to urgent and urgent practical problems, which require practical solutions, such as the problem of employment opportunities for college graduates, which is increasingly limited. educational funds and facilities, etc. Along with that, there is an assumption that the presence of this philosophy of science is too early on the one hand, but it is also considered too late on the other hand. This research uses a literature study method by collecting data from various articles. The results illustrate that the development of the Philosophy of Science undergoes changes over time. the changes that started from the prophetic era to the contemporary era in the Middle East experienced struggles in various circles and became one bright spot for a better future

Abstract

The market is a place for public to meet and the occurrence of relationships between individuals, in the market there are various kinds of buying and selling transaction activities and it is also a meeting place for many people so it is very vulnerable to the transmission of various diseases. The Driyorejo Market which is located in the Driyorejo District area is not included in the category of healthy markets that have market sanitation that meets health standards. Purpose of this study aims to describe the level of sanitation at the Driyorejo market in 2022. This research is a quantitative study conducted on March 21, 2022. The focus of the variables studied are location, market building, sanitation, sanitation management, community empowerment and behavior clean and healthy living, security and supporting facilities by utilizing market sanitation inspection instruments. The research results show that 2022 Driyorejo Market Sanitation does not meet the requirements. Driyorejo market sanitation does not meet the health standard requirements of healthy market sanitation.

Abstract

The potential possessed by students is not only contextual. However, it must be comprehensive and essentially understand the concept of science. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted at SMAN 2 Garut using interview techniques with Physics teachers, it was revealed that students' learning in schools had implemented various learning models. The achievement of learning outcomes from each learning model is different depending on how the implementation of the learning model is carried out by adjusting the appropriate learning materials. Characteristics of students who are different in the class cause various student responses to differ from the learning model. The average student learning achievement in the aspect of problem-solving at the school for physics is 22% overall. The learning model will be judged appropriate for the material if, in the delivery of learning materials, students can achieve appropriate learning objectives and with certain aspects of the learning component by using indicators of achievement of certain aspects. Students' problem-solving ability in learning Physics subjects has difficulty because students' understanding of learning materials is only theoretical and focused on problem-solving through various formulas or equations in Physics learning materials. Initiating learning with various active learning models with various stimuli and involving student participation makes it easier for students to understand learning materials. The highest answer analysis on problem description questions is 26.5625% with the lowest and lowest criteria on the assessment of the logical procession aspect of 12% which represents the student's problem ability profile is still low on this material.

Abstract

The learning that takes place in class VII MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya by looking at the activities of learners in the lessons of science is still less than optimal. Learners feel tired, not feel confident when I asked the teacher to perform in front of the class, even most learners are not reflective of the teacher when learning is in progress. The mood of the class when the lesson science progresses it appears less active for at least students who want to ask and respond to questions, the subject shows the interaction of the learners which is lacking in the learning process. This research aims to know the influence of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantu media Flashcard to active learners. This research is a quantitative research method is quasi experiment with research design pretestposttest control group design. The results of data analysis show that the average active learners in the experimental class of 72.62 us% and the control class of 70.00% with good criteria. The results of the analysis of the t-test value of the liveliness of the students of the experimental class obtained Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) equal to 0.280 > 0.05 then it can be concluded that there is influence of cooperative learning model type TGT-assisted media Flashcard to active learners.

Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted by the researcher was to find out how the description of students' science process skills in science subjects at SMPN 6 Batang Hari Jambi Regency. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Batang Hari Regency, precisely at SMPN 6 Batang Hari. The subjects of this research were 134 students of class VIII. The instruments used in this study are: (1) Observation sheets, (2) open interviews. The results of observations and interviews show that the achievement of students' science process skills is still low, in general, which is related to teaching and learning activities carried out. This is due to several factors, including: Students are not required to be active in exploring their own knowledge in the learning process. The physics learning process rarely uses investigation and experiment activities. Learning activities carried out are mostly lectures by teachers to students

Abstract

Argumentation plays an essential role in developing a critical thinking and understanding or interpreting a central idea of the existing problem, In addition, students need arguments to strengthen understanding and knowledge in the learning process. Socioscientific Issues is a combination of social issues involving moral and ethical components and their relevance to science. This study aims to determine the argumentation ability of junior high school students in the context of socioscientific issues with the topic of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research method used is descriptive research with careful decision-making and description of an educational phenomenon. The subjects of this study were 133 students, consisting of grades 9 in several junior high schools in Abab District, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency. The technique of collecting research data employs a test with a total of three essay questions. Data from the study were analyzed using the Rasch model. The result showed that the argumentation skills of junior high school students were 57,29 out of 100 logits. This result indicates that, on average, students can put forward arguments by providing reasons that support their arguments.
