Abstract

Based on survey data related to the number of vocational high school graduates absorbed in the workforce is still small, this is because students feel they are not ready to work and prefer to continue their education or be unemployed. Vocational high school graduates have been prepared to enter the workforce directly after they graduate, so students' work readiness needs to be improved. This study aims to determine the effect of parental support, industrial work practices, career guidance, self-efficacy, and learning achievement on work readiness through soft skills. The population in this study were 12th-grade vocational high school students majoring in Office Management and Business Services. Determination of sample size using the Slovin formula with a sample size of 112 respondents. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis techniques used include descriptive analysis and inferential analysis based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of Smart PLS. The results of the hypothesis test show that of the sixteen hypotheses formulated, only three hypotheses have a positive and significant influence, namely parental support for work readiness, industrial work practices for soft skills, and learning achievement for soft skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing economics teachers' behavioral intentions to use Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in teaching, using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) as the foundational framework. The respondents of the study were high school economics teachers in Semarang City, Central Java, Indonesia. Data were collected from 119 respondents using the accidental sampling technique. A questionnaire developed by previous researchers was used to gather research data. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was employed as the data analysis method. The findings indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions significantly determine the level of teachers' intention to use GAI in teaching. Furthermore, the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) variable serves as a moderating variable in the research model. The practical implications of this study suggest that educational institutions, teachers, and policymakers need to enhance understanding, provide training, and implement policies that support the integration of TPACK-based Generative AI. These efforts aim to encourage the effective use of this technology to improve the quality of teaching and learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the innovation implemented by most MSMEs in the UNNES area in the non-cash payment system in the form of QRIS. This study aims to analyze the effect of the QRIS system in moderating prices and promotions on UNNES students' purchasing decisions. The method used in this study is moderation regression analysis (MRA), which is analyzed using SPSS, and data collection using questionnaire techniques. The research sample is students who used MSME goods and services around the campus. The findings of this study indicate that price and promotion remain key factors influencing students' purchasing decisions. In contrast, using QRIS does not moderate the relationship between these variables and purchasing behavior. This outcome suggests that students prioritize price and promotional offers over payment. Furthermore, students perceive that using QRIS may encourage increased spending, which is problematic given their typically limited financial resources. As a result, QRIS is often regarded as a secondary payment option, used only after cash, due to concerns about its potential to reduce spending control.

Abstract

Developing a digital payment system through QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) is a strategic initiative to encourage financial inclusion and transaction efficiency, especially among the younger generation. However, the sustainable adoption of QRIS still faces challenges, especially related to the effectiveness of economic incentives in influencing user behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of cashback and discounts on the sustainable use of QRIS among Semarang State University (UNNES) students and examine the role of digital financial literacy as a moderation variable. This research employed a quantitative method using a survey approach involving 92 respondents who were active users of QRIS. Data were analyzed using linear regression and moderation interaction tests. The results showed that cashback had a positive and significant effect on the use of QRIS, while discounts did not show a significant impact. Digital financial literacy has a substantial direct effect on the use of QRIS, but it does not moderate the relationship between incentives (cashback and discounts) and the use of QRIS. These findings emphasize the importance of direct financial incentives such as cashback and digital financial literacy as independent factors in encouraging sustainable digital transaction habits. This research makes an empirical contribution to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in terms of financial inclusion and responsible consumption
