Abstract

This study investigates the key determinants influencing Generation Z's purchase intention on Shopee, focusing on three main variables: digital marketing, pricing, and online reviews. The research was conducted among students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) using a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that both digital marketing and online reviews have a significant and positive impact on purchase intention. In contrast, pricing shows a significant but negative effect, indicating that Generation Z is highly price-sensitive and more influenced by perceived value and peer reviews. The model explains 68.0% of the variance in purchase intention (R² = 0.680), suggesting a strong relationship between the examined variables and consumer behavior. These results highlight the importance of authentic digital engagement and customer feedback in driving online purchases among young consumers. E-commerce platforms are advised to prioritize trust-building strategies and maintain price competitiveness to target the Gen Z segment effectively.

Abstract

This study investigates the core competencies of agricultural undergraduates in China, aiming to improve their skills through industry-education integration. Using human capital theory, it analyzes the current status via literature review, surveys, and interviews, focusing on L University. Findings show students recognize their field's importance but lack career confidence and practical experience; only 25.5% have internships, and few faculty have industry experience. Gaps in social skills and psychological resilience are noted. To enhance competencies, strategies include creating a pro-agriculture atmosphere, deepening industry-education ties, boosting comprehensive training, and innovating evaluation. The study builds a competency model, highlighting fixed and growth competencies, enriching agricultural education theory. It stresses industry-education integration to meet talent demands for agricultural modernization and points to the need for more research on integration evaluation and context-specific characteristics.

Abstract

Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) standing out as the most developed intergovernmental institution. ASEAN countries have demonstrated impressive economic growth average annual growth rate of 4.2% over the past decade. This study investigates the impact of key macroeconomic variables Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), inflation, unemployment, exchange rate, and green trade on economic growth in ten ASEAN member states. Additionally, it examines the mediating role of FDI in shaping these relationships. Employing panel data regression over a 15-year period (2008–2022), the analysis reveals a significant negative correlation between inflation and economic growth, reflecting the detrimental effects of price instability on economic activity. In contrast, unemployment, exchange rate, and green trade exhibit positive correlations with growth, suggesting that higher employment levels, currency stability, and environmentally sustainable trade practices bolster economic performance. FDI plays a critical mediating role by injecting capital and advanced technology, thereby enhancing productivity, innovation, and job creation. The study underscores the necessity of integrated economic policies that simultaneously address inflation, employment, exchange rate management, and green trade promotion, while actively fostering FDI to support sustainable and resilient economic development across the ASEAN region.

Abstract

The Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model is recognized as an effective instructional approach that enhances both the learning process and student outcomes. It actively engages students in identifying, analyzing, and solving real-world problems, thereby fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. In school settings, PBL significantly improves conceptual understanding, knowledge retention, and the achievement of learning competencies. Previous studies have shown that PBL has a positive impact on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, positioning it as a relevant strategy for addressing the educational challenges of the 21st century. This study employed an experimental method using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, involving Grade X students at SMA Negeri 2 Salatiga. Class X-A served as the control group, while class X-B was designated as the experimental group. Data collection was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests, followed by statistical analyses including tests for normality, homogeneity, and mean differences. The results demonstrated that the use of different instructional media with the same teaching model led to higher post-test scores in the experimental group (72.44) compared to the control group (69.90). The t-test result of 2.072 exceeded the t-table value of 1.995, with a significance level of 0.004 < 0.05. These findings indicate that the PBL model supported by Google Sites effectively enhances learning outcomes. In conclusion, the integration of PBL and Google Sites improves student performance, particularly in topics related to payment systems and financial instruments. The scientific contribution of this research lies in its innovative integration of problem-based learning with the digital platform Google Sites, which has been scarcely explored in similar studies. This study provides empirical evidence that simple yet interactive digital tools can strengthen the effectiveness of PBL in the context of economics education, especially when dealing with abstract and theoretical subjects such as payment systems. Moreover, the findings present new opportunities for educators and curriculum developers to explore accessible and practical technology-enhanced learning strategies that do not require complex infrastructure. Thus, this study not only enriches the literature on the effectiveness of PBL but also offers practical and applicable solutions for improving educational quality in the digital era

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in improving accounting learning outcomes for Vocational High School (SMK) students. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method based on literature study. Data were obtained through a comprehensive analysis of various relevant scientific articles regarding the application of PjBL in accounting learning in SMK. The literature review shows that PjBL consistently provides a significant positive effect on improving student learning outcomes, both in cognitive and psychomotor aspects. This model encourages active student participation through contextual, collaborative, and problem-solving-based project work. Various studies have reported an increase in student average grades and classical learning completion rates after the implementation of PjBL. In addition, important skills such as critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills also increase. The implementation of PjBL is an effective innovative learning strategy to improve the quality of vocational education, especially in the field of accounting, because it is able to improve learning outcomes and develop various student skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of financial literacy, parental socio-economics, and financial technology on saving behavior with consumptive behavior as moderation in economic education students at Semarang State University in 2021. The population in this study were students of the Department of Economics Education at Semarang State University in the class of 2021. The number of samples in this study was calculated using the Slovin formula with a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques include descriptive statistical analysis and moderation regression analysis. The results of the study show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on saving behavior (14.36%). Meanwhile, parents' social economy and financial technology have no effect on saving behavior. Consumptive behavior is not able to moderate the influence of financial literacy, parents' socio-economic status, and financial technology on saving behavior. Suggestions that can be given are that students are expected to continue to increase saving behavior, can reduce consumptive behavior by reducing product purchases because of offering gifts when they don't really need them, and can increase their financial literacy so that it is even better, especially in terms of loans, investments, and insurance.
