Abstract

The development of 21st-century skills can be achieved through the learning process, one of which is through the subject of economics. The reality at SMA Negeri 1 Ambarawa shows that learning economics, especially on the material of compiling basic accounting equations, faces various challenges. First, learning tends to be teacher-centered and emphasizes memorization of concepts, is still dominated by lecture and memorization methods, and the use of technology in the learning process is still limited. The study used a quantitative approach with the development research method and the 4D development model. The resulting product is a teaching module with a TPACK-based PjBL learning model that aims to improve 21st-century skills in the material of compiling basic accounting equations. The validation results from material experts obtained scores of 3.71 and 3.62 in the feasible category and the value from media experts was 3.16 in the feasible category. The practicality test result was 3.16, which means the developed teaching module is practical to use. The N-Gain test obtained a score of 0.71, which means there is an increase in 21st-century skills using the TPACK-based PjBL learning model. The conclusion obtained is that this research produces a TPACK-based PjBL teaching module to improve 21st century skills that are effective and suitable for use in learning activities.

Abstract

This study presents the dynamic impact of renewable energy consumption, urbanization, industrialization and economic growth on CO₂ emissions in developing Asian countries. Energy use demonstrated as a mediating factor and using a balanced panel model in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines countries over the 2000-2024. These analysis data collection on World Development Indicators WDI database and engagement panel regression methods under a pooled least squares framework. The empirical results are demonstration that renewable energy use, urbanization, industrialization and GDP use statistically significant effects on CO₂ emissions and the aggregate energy use increase as a strong and significant mediator linking these drivers to environmental results. The positive implication between renewable energy and CO₂ emissions suggests that is the current penetration levels and renewables may be complementing rather than relieving the fossil fuel use, especially in fast urbanizing and industrializing economies. These findings underscore the need for policies that not only expand renewable capacity but also fast-track fossil fuel movement and improve energy efficiency. The study highlights the importance of sectoral and source specific energy evolutions to achieve effective decoupling of economic growth from carbon emissions in developing Asia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationships between entrepreneurial knowledge, family environment, and digital literacy and green entrepreneurial intention through self-efficacy. The population of this study consisted of 10,123 students from the 2023 cohort of Universitas Negeri Semarang. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 385 respondents. The sampling technique employed was proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that (1) entrepreneurial knowledge, family environment, digital literacy, and self-efficacy have a positive and significant effect on green entrepreneurial intention; (2) entrepreneurial knowledge, family environment, and digital literacy have a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy; and (3) self-efficacy does not mediate the effects of entrepreneurial knowledge and family environment on green entrepreneurial intention. However, self-efficacy was found to mediate the effect of digital literacy on green entrepreneurial intention. This study is expected to contribute to the development of knowledge and provide empirical support for the Theory of Entrepreneurial Event and Social Cognitive Theory in explaining green entrepreneurial intention among university students.

Abstract

Sustainable consumption behavior is an important aspect of environmental education. Although SMA Negeri 14 Semarang has implemented various environmental programs as an Adiwiyata Mandiri School, there remains a gap between students' understanding of sustainability and their consumption practices. This study aims to analyze the influence of environmental awareness, peer support, and self-efficacy on sustainable consumption behavior through behavioral intentions and to examine the role of perceived school support as a moderating variable. This study used a quantitative approach with a causal design. The sample size was 283 students selected using proportional stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression and mediation and moderation tests with PROCESS Hayes. The results show that environmental awareness and peer support have a significant positive effect on sustainable consumption behavior, while self-efficacy and behavioral intentions do not have a significant direct effect. Environmental awareness, peers, and self-efficacy have a significant effect on behavioral intentions. Behavioral intentions mediate the relationship between the variables, while perceived school support moderates the relationship between behavioral intentions and sustainable consumption behavior. These findings enrich the study of sustainable consumption behavior and provide a basis for schools to strengthen the habit of sustainable consumption behavior in students.

Abstract

Students' critical thinking skills have not yet reached an optimal level. The 2022 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) results indicate Indonesia's lowest performance since its first participation in 2000. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the integrated Flipped Classroom and Problem-Based Learning (FLOBLE) model, supported by the Edukati Learning Management System (LMS), in improving students' critical thinking skills in economics. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of Class X-5 as the experimental group and Class X-4 as the control group at SMA Negeri 16 Semarang during the 2025/2026 academic year. Primary data were collected through pretests and posttests and analyzed using an independent-samples t-test, normalized gain (N-gain), and effect size analysis. The results show that the FLOBLE model effectively improves students' critical thinking skills in economics. The experimental group achieved an N-gain score of 71.96% (moderately effective), while the control group obtained 53.86% (less effective). The effect size value of 0.819 indicates a large effect. These findings demonstrate that the FLOBLE model is more effective than Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and provides an effective alternative for enhancing students' critical thinking skills in economics.
