Abstract

Effective bureaucratic management depends on aligning competencies with job placement. This study examines Echelon 3 and 4 officials in Pasuruan Regency, Indonesia, focusing on the suitability of their educational backgrounds, skills, and job roles. A descriptive quantitative approach was used with 77 respondents, including 23 Echelon 3 and 54 Echelon 4 officials. The findings indicate moderate suitability, with an average score of 3.5 out of 5. While many officials possess advanced educational qualifications, gaps in training adequacy and skill alignment remain. Technology usage is a key strength, reflecting readiness for digital transformation. These results emphasize the need for systematic training and strategic human resource allocation to enhance bureaucratic effectiveness. The study contributes to discussions on workforce optimization in public administration, providing actionable insights for policymakers. Future research should expand on these findings by exploring competency-based interventions and their impact on organizational performance.

Abstract

Amidst the growing competition in the industry, CV Berkah Jaya Klaten faces challenges in planning the production capacity of cleaning tools to meet market demand. This study aims to provide solutions to production capacity planning issues by applying the Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) method using the Capacity Planning Using Overall Factors (CPOF) technique and a system simulation approach. The planning process begins with demand forecasting using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software, which produces the smallest Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value using the Simple Seasonal method. These forecasting results are used to determine the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Processing RCCP data with the CPOF method requires MPS data, processing time for each workstation, and historical proportions calculated from standardized processing times. The system simulation of production capacity planning is conducted to model real conditions and evaluate various production scenarios. The simulation results reveal that the required production time capacity each month always exceeds the available time capacity, indicating the need for capacity adjustments to avoid bottlenecks and improve efficiency. With this approach, CV Berkah Jaya Klaten can plan production capacity more efficiently and effectively, ensuring product availability in accordance with customer demand.

Abstract

The development of e-commerce has significantly transformed consumer behavior, particularly among Generation Z. This study examines the impact of e-commerce on the consumptive behavior of Gen Z students at STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro, Indonesia. E-commerce platforms offer easy access, a wide range of products, and various promotional features that influence consumer purchasing decisions. Using a quantitative approach with a survey design, this study investigates how promotions, social media, and other factors impact Gen Z's purchasing behaviors. The results reveal that social media has a more substantial influence on consumptive behavior than traditional promotional strategies, which were found to be less significant. This highlights the importance of social media in shaping the shopping habits of Gen Z. The findings contribute to a better understanding of e-commerce's role in influencing consumer behavior and offer recommendations for businesses and educational institutions to address the challenges associated with impulsive purchasing and financial management among students.
