Abstract

Textile industries in Bangladesh are shifting towards a sustainable future, and as a result, many firms are implementing Green Supply chain Management (GSCM). This study aims to evaluate if practicing GSCM in different areas of industry positively impacts environmental, economic, and social performance. Regarding this issue, this paper observes the scopes, drivers, and barriers of practicing GSCM and reviews it. Therefore, the research investigates, through empirical analysis based on responses from 104 textile firms, the influence of GSCM practices on environmental, economic, and social performance. Results confirm that GSCM improves environmental sustainability by reducing emissions, waste, and resource use. It enhances economic performance through cost savings and efficiency gains and also offers several social advantages, improved worker satisfaction, and community engagement. The results bring to light the potential role that GSCM can play in making the textile industry sustainable, along with suggesting policy interventions and further research on longitudinal impacts and advanced technological integration.

This study aims to analyze the effect of tax understanding, tax rates, and tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance on e-commerce actors in Luwuk City. The results show that all independent variables, namely tax understanding, tax rates, and tax sanctions, have a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance. Tax rates have the most dominant influence with a coefficient of 0.434, followed by tax sanctions of 0.317, and tax understanding of 0.176. This research model has an R-Square value of 0.551, which indicates that 55.1% of the variance in taxpayer compliance can be explained by these three variables. The results of the study indicate that organizational culture has a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction (O = 0.200; T-Statistics = 1.377; P-Value = 0.004) and employee loyalty (O = 0.351; T-Statistics = 3.141; P-Value = 0.002). In addition, work motivation is also proven to have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction (O = 0.754; T-Statistics = 5.218; P-Value = 0.000) and employee loyalty (O = 0.355; T-Statistics = 2.682; P-Value = 0.008). Job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee loyalty (O = 0.284; T-Statistics = 3.675; P-Value = 0.000). However, job satisfaction does not significantly moderate the relationship between work motivation and employee loyalty (O = -0.084; T-Statistics = 0.778; P-Value = 0.437) or the relationship between organizational culture and employee loyalty (O = 0.147; T-Statistics = 1.337; P-Value = 0.182). These findings provide important managerial implications for organizations in improving employee satisfaction and loyalty through strengthening organizational culture and work motivation enhancement strategies. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Key Performance Indicator (KPI)-based performance appraisal system, leadership style, and work motivation on employee productivity. The research method used is a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that simultaneously, the implementation of KPI, leadership style, and work motivation have a significant effect on employee productivity. Partially, the implementation of KPI and leadership style have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, indicating that an effective KPI system and good leadership can improve individual performance. However, the results of the study also show that work motivation does not have a significant effect on employee productivity, indicating that there are other factors that may play a greater role in improving productivity. The implication of this study is that organizations need to focus more on optimizing the KPI system and developing a leadership style that can support the achievement of employee productivity.
