Abstract

This study investigates the influence of consumer psychology, product innovation, and brand image on purchase decisions and their impact on customer satisfaction within the Indonesian motorcycle industry, focusing on members of Yamaha NMAX Club Indonesia Chapter Jabodetabek. Despite Yamaha NMAX's strong market presence, fluctuating sales performance raises concerns about the behavioral and perceptual factors driving purchasing decisions. Addressing a research gap in prior studies that examine these variables separately, this research develops a structural model positioning purchase decisions as a mediating variable linking psychological and marketing factors to customer satisfaction. Using a quantitative explanatory approach with purposive sampling, data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The findings reveal that consumer psychology, product innovation, and brand image significantly and positively influence purchase decisions, which in turn significantly affect customer satisfaction and mediate the relationship between exogenous variables and satisfaction outcomes. The study concludes that integrating psychological engagement, continuous innovation, and strong brand image development enhances purchasing behavior and long-term satisfaction. The key takeaway is that purchase decisions function as a strategic bridge connecting marketing drivers to sustainable customer satisfaction and competitive advantage.

The method used is explanatory research with analysis techniques using statistical analysis with regression, correlation, determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this study show that store atmosphere has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction with a contribution of 45.2% and the hypothesis test obtained t count > t table or (8.989 > 1.984). Service quality has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction with a contribution of 42.4% and the hypothesis test obtained t count > t table or (8.500 > 1.984). Store atmosphere and service quality simultaneously have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction with the regression equation Y = 5.849 + 0.450X1 + 0.409X2 obtained with an influence contribution of 60.6%, and the hypothesis test obtained F count > F table or (74.727 > 2.700).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Empowerment Strategy of Creative Industry MSMEs to Increase Competitiveness in the Digital Era in the Wood Processing Industry in South Tangerang City. This research method uses qualitative methods, gaining an in-depth understanding of data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. Semi-structured interviews based on a predetermined interview guide were conducted with several informants from creative industry MSMEs in South Tangerang City, the MSME Association, KADIN (Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) in the South Tangerang region, the South Tangerang MSME and Cooperative Office, and expert judgment from academics and experts in their fields. The analysis of the interviews indicates that the empowerment of e-commerce-based creative industry MSMEs in the wood processing sector in South Tangerang is still suboptimal, as evidenced by minimal government support, limited capital, limited digital marketing, and various operational constraints such as product quality, raw materials, and machine breakdowns. Although some MSMEs are able to retain customers through quality service, their overall competitiveness remains low due to technological limitations and market changes. A SWOT analysis revealed that MSMEs possess strengths in product quality and customer relationships, as well as opportunities from the growing digital market. However, they still face the threat of competition and fluctuating raw material prices. Therefore, the SWOT strategy emphasizes the need to maximize strengths and opportunities while addressing weaknesses and threats to increase MSME competitiveness in the digital era.

Abstract

Public organizations are increasingly required to provide responsive, timely, and citizen-oriented services. However, maintaining service responsiveness remains a challenge for many government institutions, including the Population and Civil Registration Office of South Tangerang City. This study examines the influence of competence, compensation, and training on service responsiveness through employee motivation as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using a census method involving 251 employees of the South Tangerang City Population and Civil Registration Office. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that competence significantly affects employee motivation (β = 0.228; p < 0.001), compensation significantly affects employee motivation (β = 0.423; p < 0.001), and training significantly affects employee motivation (β = 0.211; p < 0.001). Employee motivation also significantly influences service responsiveness (β = 0.346; p < 0.001). However, the direct effects of competence, compensation, and training on service responsiveness were not statistically significant. Mediation analysis revealed that employee motivation fully mediates the relationships between competence, compensation, and training and service responsiveness. Among the indirect effects, compensation demonstrated the strongest contribution to service responsiveness through employee motivation. The study concludes that employee motivation serves as a critical mechanism through which human resource management practices enhance public service responsiveness. Strengthening employee competencies, implementing equitable compensation systems, and providing continuous training programs are essential strategies for improving the quality of public services.

Abstract

The provision of public transport route licensing by the Riau Provincial Department of Transportation is essential to ensure the legality, safety, and orderliness of public transportation. However, persistent challenges in the field include the prevalence of illegal transport operations, delays in permit issuance, and low compliance among transport operators in securing official permits. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of public transport route licensing services at the Riau Provincial Department of Transportation and to identify the inhibiting factors within the service process. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews with key informants, and document analysis. Service effectiveness was assessed using Steers' (1985) five indicators productivity, service quality, efficiency, flexibility, and user satisfaction. The findings indicate that licensing services have generally functioned quite well, supported by the integration of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, although performance remains suboptimal. The main obstacles identified include a complex administrative and technical document verification process that causes delays, low interest among Intra-Provincial Urban Transport (AKDP) operators in applying for permits, regulations perceived as burdensome for small-scale travel businesses, and weak post-issue supervision in the field.
