Abstract

This study aims to develop a prediction model for academic achievement of Pamulang University students using the artificial neural network (ANN) method. Student academic achievement is one of the important factors that reflect the quality of education in higher education. Therefore, accurate predictions can help universities take strategic steps, such as providing more appropriate academic support or designing coaching programs to improve student achievement. This study uses ANN because of its ability to identify complex patterns in data and provide accurate predictions based on the input provided. The data used in this study consisted of various variables, such as exam scores, number of absences, involvement in extracurricular activities, and other factors that influence student academic achievement. The artificial neural network model was trained using historical data of Pamulang University students and then tested to measure the accuracy of the predictions produced. The results of the study indicate that ANN can be used to predict student academic achievement with a high level of accuracy. The developed model shows good potential in helping universities monitor and improve the quality of education, as well as providing a clearer picture of the factors that influence student academic success. Thus, this study suggests the use of artificial neural network methods as a tool in academic information systems to support data-based decision making at Pamulang University, with the hope of improving the quality of learning and overall student achievement.

Abstract

The design of the Outpatient Medical Record Information System at Hermina Serpong General Hospital using a web-based prototype method aims to develop an effective and efficient system in managing outpatient medical records. Currently, the management of medical records at Hermina Serpong General Hospital is still done manually, which can cause difficulties in searching for patient data, potential recording errors, and suboptimal services. Therefore, a system is needed that can improve the quality of health services, speed up the administration process, and reduce the risk of data errors. The prototype method was chosen in designing this system because it allows faster and more flexible development, involving feedback from users to produce a system that suits the needs. The system is designed web-based, allowing easy and fast access to information through devices connected to the internet, thus increasing ease of use and accelerating the flow of information. The result of this study is an outpatient medical record information system that can manage patient data, examination history, diagnosis, treatment, and visit schedules, which can be accessed by medical personnel, administration, and other related parties. With this system, it is expected to improve data accuracy, time efficiency, and the quality of medical services for patients at Hermina Serpong General Hospital.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an increasingly important tool in strategic decision-making across a range of industry sectors. In an increasingly complex and uncertain world, AI offers the ability to analyze large amounts of data, identify patterns, and provide recommendations that can improve the quality of decisions made by managers and organizational leaders. The use of AI in strategic decision-making not only increases efficiency, but also enables more accurate planning and responsiveness to market changes. This article discusses various applications of artificial intelligence in supporting strategic decision-making, including in the areas of market forecasting, resource optimization, and long-term planning. In addition, this article also reviews the challenges and limitations in implementing AI, such as data quality, model reliability, and potential ethical risks. While AI can speed up and improve the decision-making process, it is important to still involve human perspectives in the final decision-making process to ensure that the policies taken still consider social, ethical, and environmental factors. By understanding the role and potential of AI in strategic decision-making, organizations can adopt this technology more effectively, increase competitiveness, and optimize future business outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of communication and teamwork on employee performance at PT Riau Eramedia Indonesia Pekanbaru. This study is a quantitative study. The population in this study were all employees of PT Riau Eramedia Indonesia Pekanbaru totaling 53 employees. The sampling technique used was the census method so that the number of samples was 53 respondents. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used quantitative descriptive analysis and used SPSS. The results of this study indicate that communication and teamwork partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Riau Eramedia Indonesia Pekanbaru. The contribution of communication and teamwork to employee performance is 82% with the remaining 18% explained by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate innovative approaches in Islamic education through the integration of digital storytelling. The research seeks to examine how digital narratives can influence the learning process of Islamic teachings. Utilizing a qualitative literature review approach, the study explores a range of sources related to Islamic education and the role of digital storytelling technology. The findings suggest that digital stories hold considerable potential to enhance the learning experience of Islamic education, especially by actively engaging students through captivating narratives. It is anticipated that these insights will contribute to modernizing the teaching of Islamic religion, ensuring it aligns with contemporary educational advancements. The implications of this research are intended to offer practical recommendations for developing novel instructional methods that foster a more creative generation of Islamic learners, equipped with a deeper understanding of religious values.

Abstract

Heutagogy, or learner-centered education focused on autonomy, has gained increasing attention as an innovative approach in 21st-century education. This approach emphasizes flexible learning, student autonomy, and the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. However, the implementation of heutagogy in formal school environments faces various challenges, such as resistance from both teachers and students to changes in teaching methods, limitations in technological infrastructure, and curricula still based on traditional instruction. On the other hand, the adoption of heutagogy also presents significant opportunities, including enhanced learning motivation, the development of lifelong learning skills, and better adaptation to technological advancements and labor market demands. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, as well as policy document analysis related to heutagogy. Data were collected from several formal schools that have started implementing this approach, at both secondary and upper levels. Data analysis was conducted using triangulation techniques to ensure the validity and reliability of the findings. The results indicate that collaboration among teachers, students, and school authorities, as well as the appropriate use of educational technology, can provide solutions to effectively integrate heutagogy into formal learning systems.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style and job satisfaction on employee productivity at PT Mayora Indah Tbk in West Jakarta, both partially and simultaneously. The research used an associative quantitative method with a saturated sampling technique involving 45 respondents. Data analysis includes instrument testing, classical assumption testing, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, as well as hypothesis testing via the t test and F test. The results of the analysis show that leadership style partially has a positive effect on employee productivity, with the simple linear regression equation Y = 15.900 + 0.256X1. A correlation coefficient value of 0.465 indicates a strong relationship, and a coefficient of determination of 21.6% indicates that employee productivity is influenced by leadership style by that percentage. The t test produces tcount > ttable (3.638 > 1.301) and is significant at p < 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Partial job satisfaction also has a positive effect on employee productivity, with the regression equation Y = 15,900 + 0.200X2. A correlation coefficient of 0.281 indicates a moderate relationship, and a coefficient of determination of 7.9% indicates the contribution of the job satisfaction variable to productivity. The t test produces tcount > ttable (2.195 > 1.301) and is significant at p < 0.05 (0.034 < 0.05), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Simultaneously, leadership style and job satisfaction have a significant effect on employee productivity with the multiple linear regression equation Y = 15.900 + 0.256X1 + 0.200X2 The simultaneous correlation coefficient of 0.607 shows a very strong relationship, with a coefficient of determination of 33.9%. The F test produces Fcount > Ftable (12.273 > 3.22) and is significant at p < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This research proves that both leadership style and job satisfaction, partially or simultaneously, have a significant effect on employee productivity.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of human resource (HR) development, compensation and motivation on teacher performance at SMKI Nurul Hayat Depok, both partially and simultaneously. This research uses a quantitative associative method with a population of 42 teachers and a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis includes instrument testing, classical hypothesis testing, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, as well as hypothesis testing via the t test and F test. Abstract

Work-life balance is a crucial issue in contemporary work environments. This study aims to analyze the influence of work-family conflict and work-life balance on employee performance at PT Wanasari Nusantara Company, Riau Province. Survey research method was used to collect data from 61 respondents who are production employees of PT Wanasari Nusantara Company, Riau Province. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to test the research hypothesis. These findings indicate the importance of human resource management in paying attention to these aspects to improve employee performance. The practical implications of this study are the need for policies and programs that support employee work-life balance, as well as strategies to manage work-family conflict to improve individual and organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Price Perception and Product Completeness on Purchase Decisions for Heavy Equipment Spare Parts at CV Chatra Power in Pekanbaru. This study is a quantitative study with variables of price perception and product completeness on purchasing decisions. This study uses a data collection technique by distributing questionnaires. The number of samples in this study was 55 respondents taken using the slovin technique. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical techniques using the validity test formula, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of the study indicate that price perception has a significant effect on purchasing decisions and product completeness has a significant effect on purchasing decisions. While price perception and product completeness have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. Then it is also known that the contribution of the presentation of the influence given by price perception and product completeness is 54.8% and the remaining 45.2% comes from other variables not included in this study. And it can be concluded that price perception and product completeness have an effect on purchasing decisions for heavy equipment spare parts at CV Chatra Power Part in Pekanbaru
