Objective: This study aims to examine the simultaneous and individual effects of conformity and life satisfaction on Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) among students at Muhammadiyah 2 Senior High School Sidoarjo. Method: Employing a correlational quantitative design, the study involved 270 students selected from a population of 1,146 using accidental sampling. Data were collected using validated scales for conformity (α = 0.860), life satisfaction (α = 0.807), and FoMO (α = 0.898). Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the JASP statistical software. Results: The findings indicate that conformity and life satisfaction simultaneously have a significant influence on FoMO (F = 57.363, p < 0.001). Individually, conformity positively and significantly influences FoMO (t = 3.289, p = 0.001), while life satisfaction has a significant negative influence on FoMO (t = -9.553, p < 0.001), suggesting that higher life satisfaction is associated with lower levels of FoMO. Objective: This study aims to examine the relationship between peer and family social support and the quarter life crisis experienced by individuals within the K-pop fandom, specifically members of the Seventeen (Carat) fan community. Method: Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from 146 purposively selected participants out of a population of 250 fandom members. The analysis employed a multiple regression correlation test to assess the influence of social support on the quarter life crisis. Results: The findings indicate a significant negative relationship between peer social support and quarter life crisis (r = -0.385; p < .001), and between family social support and quarter life crisis (r = -0.445; p < .001). The combined contribution of peer and family social support to the reduction of quarter life crisis was 56.5%, suggesting that greater perceived support is associated with lower levels of psychological distress during emerging adulthood. Novelty: This research introduces a unique perspective by focusing on the psychosocial dynamics of the K-pop fandom—particularly the Seventeen fandom—which remains an underexplored population in psychological studies. The findings contribute to the growing discourse on youth mental health in digital fan communities, emphasizing the protective role of social support.

Method: Employing a quantitative correlational approach, the study investigates the influence of intimate friendship and self-disclosure using multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The findings reveal a significant positive relationship between intimate friendship and psychological well-being (r = 0.504; p < 0.001), as well as between self-disclosure and psychological well-being (r = 0.455; p < 0.001). Furthermore, both variables simultaneously contribute to psychological well-being with a combined influence of 46% (R² = 0.464), suggesting that the remaining variance is accounted for by other external factors. Novelty: This research provides new empirical insights into the underexplored area of psychological well-being in the context of social media, particularly focusing on Instagram second account users. It emphasizes the psychological value of close interpersonal relationships and open communication in enhancing well-being within digital platforms.

Method: The population in this study was 23,039 students with a research sample using cluster sampling using the Isaac & Michael formula with a 5% error rate involving 342 students. Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between self-esteem and psychological well-being with loneliness in students in Sidoarjo with a Pearson's correlation test value of r = -0.468 for self-esteem and Pearson's correlation r = -0.419 for psychological well-being, p < .001. This indicates a significant negative relationship between self-esteem, psychological well-being, and loneliness among students in Sidoarjo. Novelty: This suggests that higher self-esteem and psychological well-being correlate with lower loneliness levels, and vice versa.

Objective: This study investigates the misrepresentation of Islam in the controversial Malaysian film Mentega Terbang through a detailed narrative analysis. The film, centered on a young Muslim girl's spiritual exploration and questioning of religious boundaries, has ignited significant public discourse and backlash, particularly within Muslim communities. The objective is to examine how Mentega Terbang portrays Islamic values, beliefs, and practices, and to identify elements within the narrative that may challenge or contradict mainstream Islamic teachings. Method: A qualitative narrative analysis was employed to examine the film’s storyline, character development, dialogue, and symbolism. This approach enabled the identification of underlying messages and potential misrepresentations related to Islamic principles. Results: The findings reveal that Mentega Terbang presents a complex and sometimes conflicting depiction of Islam, often deviating from established religious teachings. These portrayals may contribute to misunderstandings and reinforce negative perceptions among viewers. Novelty: This study offers a nuanced perspective on media representation of religion in Malaysia, highlighting how cinematic narratives can influence public perceptions of Islam. It contributes to media and religious studies by addressing the gap in understanding how fictional media shapes interfaith understanding in multicultural Muslim-majority societies. Recommendations are offered for responsible religious representation in film.

Objective: The Korean Wave, or Hallyu, phenomenon has spread globally, especially among teenage K-pop fans on social media X (Twitter). Teenage K-pop fans often show consumptive behavior by buying items used by their idols. This study aims to determine the relationship between celebrity worship and consumptive behavior in teenage K-pop fans on social media X (Twitter). Method: This study uses quantitative methods with a correlational approach. The subjects of this study were teenage K-pop fans who were members of the WTS / WTB / WTT All Fandom community on Twitter, which had not been widely studied before. The sample size of this study was 204 respondents, which was calculated using the Jacob Cohen formula. This study uses two measuring instruments, namely the consumptive behavior scale and the celebrity worship scale. The consumptive behavior scale is measured based on the aspects proposed by Fromm with a reliability value of r = 0.889. Meanwhile, the celebrity worship scale is measured based on three aspects formulated by Maltby et al with a reliability value of r = 0.894. Results: The results of this study indicate that there is a positive relationship between celebrity worship and consumptive behavior in adolescent K-pop fans on social media X (Twitter), with a Pearson correlation value of r = 0.756 and getting a significance level of 0.001 (P < 0.05). Novelty: This means that the higher the level of celebrity worship, the higher the consumptive behavior of teenage K-Pop fans on social media X (Twitter). Conversely, if the level of celebrity worship is low, then the consumptive behavior also tends to be low.
