Abstract

Objective: This study explains volunteer satisfaction as an intervening variable between volunteer motivation and Generation Z's intention to continue volunteering at the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Banyuwangi Regency. Referring to the Volunteer Functions Inventory (VFI) model, this study explains six motivational functions, namely value, understanding, social, career, protective, and enhancement. Method: This information was collected from questionnaires and in-depth interviews with 118 Generation Z volunteers. Results: The findings indicated that volunteer motivation had a significant impact on volunteer satisfaction and volunteering intention. Volunteer satisfaction also played the role of a key mediator through which the indirect effect of motivation on volunteering intention was achieved. Novelty: The research highlights the necessity of identifying Generation Z's specific motivation and level of satisfaction in order to devise effective strategies to maintain young volunteers. Practical implications involve the necessity of respective training, appreciating volunteers' efforts, and providing a decent working environment. Conceptual insights into the understanding of volunteer motivation and practical applications that humanitarian organizations can apply to maintain volunteer commitment from your generation are contributed by this study.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of endorsers, product quality, and word of mouth on brand attitude and consumer satisfaction of Kopi Kahyangan in Jember Regency. In addition, this study also examines the role of brand attitude as an intervening variable in the relationship between endorsers, product quality, and word of mouth with consumer satisfaction. Expectation-Confirmation Theory (ECT) is used as a theoretical basis to understand how consumers' initial expectations are formed and influence satisfaction after consumption. Method: The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to Kopi Kahyangan consumers in Jember Regency. The sample in this study was selected using a purposive sampling technique, and data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The research model tests direct and indirect relationships between variables to understand the patterns of influence that occur. Results: The results of the study indicate that endorsers, product quality, and word of mouth have a significant influence on brand attitude and consumer satisfaction. In addition, brand attitude has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. However, brand attitude does not act as a significant intervening variable in the relationship between external factors and consumer satisfaction. In other words, consumer satisfaction is more influenced by product quality and word of mouth factors than by brand image formed from external factors. Novelty: The novelty of this study lies in the use of Expectation-Confirmation Theory (ECT) in the context of local coffee product marketing, especially in seeing how external factors shape initial expectations that then affect customer satisfaction. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of focusing on real consumption experiences in increasing customer loyalty. The results of this study can be a basis for business actors in designing marketing strategies based on consumer experience and customer engagement to increase brand competitiveness in local and national markets.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the influence of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) implementation on the financial performance of health sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2021-2023 period, with audit quality as a moderating variable. This study measures financial performance using ROA, EVA, and Tobin's Q indicators to provide empirical evidence of the role of ESG in improving corporate sustainability and financial value. Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data from the financial and sustainability reports of 13 healthcare sector companies selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted with regression and moderation tests, while ESG disclosure was measured based on GRI standards. Results: The results show that the implementation of ESG has a positive and significant effect on ROA, EVA, and Tobin's Q. In addition, audit quality, especially by Big Four auditors, strengthens the relationship between ESG and financial performance through increased transparency and credibility. Companies with good ESG disclosures tend to attract investors, enhance reputation, and achieve long-term profitability and sustainability. Novelty: This study contributes to the literature by integrating audit quality as a moderating factor and focusing on the healthcare sector, which remains under-researched in the context of ESG in Indonesia. The findings emphasize the importance of ESG as a key strategy for sustainable growth and stakeholder trust building.

Abstract

Objective: This study investigates the influence of school climate and religiosity on the school well-being of students at SMPN 1 Pungging. Method: Employing a quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression design, data were collected from 209 students selected through simple random sampling. Results: The analysis revealed that school climate significantly and positively influences school well-being (β = 0.619; p < 0.001), whereas religiosity shows a positive but statistically insignificant effect (β = -0.026; p = 0.472). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.367) indicates that school climate and religiosity jointly explain 36.7% of the variance in school well-being, with the remaining 63.3% attributed to other factors. Novelty: The study offers empirical evidence that, in the context of Indonesian public schools, a positive school climate plays a more critical role than religiosity in shaping students’ school well-being. This highlights the importance of fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging school environment as a strategic focus for enhancing student welfare.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of psychoeducation in enhancing emotional regulation among children residing in the Al-Insan Wonoayu Orphanage. Method: Utilizing an experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach, the study involved 22 children who participated in multiple psychoeducational sessions. The intervention focused on recognizing emotions, managing both positive and negative emotions, coping with emotional stress, and applying relaxation techniques grounded in Islamic values. Emotional regulation was measured using a standardized scale before and after the intervention. Results: Paired samples t-test results indicated a significant improvement in emotional regulation, with pretest scores (M = 99.45, SD = 8.996) rising to posttest scores (M = 116.86, SD = 17.734); t(21) = -4.803, p < 0.001. The effect size (Cohen’s d = -1.024) suggests a large impact of the intervention. Novelty: This study provides empirical support for the integration of psychoeducational approaches with Islamic values to foster emotional regulation in vulnerable child populations. It highlights the contextual effectiveness of culturally sensitive interventions in orphanage settings, offering a valuable model for psychosocial programs in similar environments.
