Abstract

Medicinal plants are types of plants used to cure diseases suffered by humans directly or indirectly.. The Indonesian people have a close relationship with the forest in their daily lives and possess a high level of traditional knowledge in the use of medicinal plants. The study's purpose supports efforts to develop medicinal types as valuable plant species for herbal medicines, based on the results of field observations and related literature studies. Data and information were collected through direct observations at the location where the medicinal ingredients grow naturally and by reviewing relevant literature studies. Analysis of the potential of medicinal types shows a relatively high potential for medicinal plants with rhizome weights reaching 1 kg The highest habitus type is trees at 45.7%. The lowest habitus type is bushes with 9.5%. Habitat types other than trees are rarely found in the forest because the dense tree canopy blocks sunlight from entering the forest floor. In addition, almost all parts of the tree are utilized

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of handshaking between men and women from the perspective of Fiqh al-Hadith. Handshaking (mushafahah) is widely practiced as a symbol of respect and social harmony, yet Islamic law presents differing views on its permissibility, particularly between individuals who are not mahram. Through a descriptive qualitative method and library research, this study analyzes classical and contemporary Hadith sources to contextualize legal rulings on this matter. The findings reveal that the majority of scholars prohibit such practices, grounding their arguments in Hadith traditions that emphasize safeguarding against temptation (fitnah). However, alternative scholarly opinions allow contextual interpretations, considering handshakes as social necessities in modern settings, including diplomacy and intercultural interaction. The analysis highlights the importance of integrating textual and contextual approaches in Hadith studies to balance religious principles with contemporary social realities. Thus, Fiqh al-Hadith provides not only a normative legal framework but also a methodological basis for reconciling tradition with evolving human interactions in social and state contexts.

Abstract

Manganese is one of the eight essential microelements for plants that are needed in the right amounts to achieve normal growth and yields. Manganese is involved in a number of physiological and metabolic processes of plants such as enzyme activation, protein synthesis, carbohydrate metabolism, lipids, auxin, nucleic acids, gene expression, and the development of reproductive organs. Micronutrients play a role in every phase of plant life starting from seeds, plant vegetative growth, and plant photosynthesis processes. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Manganese in plant physiology starting from seed germination, plant growth and the rate of photosynthesis at the greening level of leaves. This study includes 4 treatments, namely P1 (Control), P2 (Priming), P3 (Spray), P4 (Priming + Spray). The experiment used a complete random design with each treatment repeated 3 times. The total experimental unit in this study is 12 tiles. The observation variables of this study are germination, plant height, number of leaves, and photosynthesis rate at the greenery level of leaves. Based on the results of the study, it is known that feeding at a concentration of 50 ppm with the p4 method (Priming + Spray) is able to increase germination, vegetative growth of plants and the greenness of plant leaves compared to other treatments. . These results show that the application of Manganese, especially through the priming + spray method of leaves, is effective in optimizing the initial phase of germination, growth and photosynthesis rate at the greening level of maize plant leaves.

Abstract

Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is a psychological condition characterised by widespread, uncontrollable, and persistent anxiety in multiple domains, including work, health, and social contexts. Common symptoms include muscle tension, sleep disturbances, fatigue, impaired concentration, and excessive anxiety relative to circumstances. This condition can interfere with daily functioning and reduce an individual's quality of life. This study used a qualitative methodology using in-depth interviews with five psychiatric physicians to determine the main symptoms, etiological factors, and therapeutic strategies for Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD). This study revealed that all informants showed consistent patterns of physical and psychological symptoms. These factors include genetics, neurochemical imbalances, high-stress environments, and predisposed personality traits. Regarding treatment, physicians recommend implementing cognitive behavioural therapy, pharmaceutical interventions, relaxation and mindfulness practices, and adopting a healthy lifestyle in a coordinated manner. Generalised Anxiety Disorder is a multifaceted condition that requires a holistic approach. Appropriate and ongoing treatment can help individuals manage anxiety well and improve their quality of life. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference in clinical practice and the development of mental health interventions

Abstract

This study examines Hasan Hanafi’s concept of Islamic Left Theology as a framework for social liberation and resistance against global injustice, particularly the oppression of Palestine by Zionist Israel. Employing a qualitative descriptive method through library research, the paper explores Hanafi’s philosophical and theological paradigm that integrates faith with praxis. Hanafi views Islam as a revolutionary force that must liberate humanity from all forms of domination political, economic, and cultural by reinterpreting classical traditions through at-Turats wa at-Tajdid (Heritage and Renewal). His notion of “Islamic Left” emphasizes rational, ethical, and humanistic values to confront Western hegemony and to reconstruct Muslim consciousness toward justice and equality. The findings reveal that Hanafi’s call for Oksidentalisme (Occidentalism) provides an alternative intellectual strategy for Islamic civilization to critically engage the West while affirming its own identity. This theological approach contributes to understanding Islam not merely as a spiritual system but as a transformative ideology for human liberation and social justice.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of education costs on students' decisions in choosing higher education institutions, with a case study on Universitas Islam Indragiri students batch 2024. The research background is based on the challenges of higher education accessibility in Indonesia, particularly in Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province, which are influenced by cost factors, economic disparities, and infrastructure limitations. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach involving 93 randomly selected respondents from a population of 1,235 students. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination test. The results show that education costs have a significant influence on students' decisions in choosing higher education institutions, with a t-value (9.047) > t-table (1.662) and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. However, economic income does not have a significant influence (significance level 0.591 > 0.05). The most considered component of education costs is the funding source, with the highest average score (4.12). The majority of students rely on parental funding (52.7%), while 24.7% combine self-funding with family support. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of transparent and affordable education cost policies, as well as expanding scholarship access to increase higher education participation. This research also recommends the need for more equitable socialization of education funding programs to prospective students.

Abstract

The development of assisted reproductive technology, particularly In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), has raised significant legal issues in Indonesia concerning lineage (nasab) and inheritance rights of children. This study aims to analyze the legal status of IVF-born children from the perspectives of Islamic law and Indonesian positive law, with a focus on lineage legitimacy and its implications for inheritance. The research employed a library research method with a normative juridical approach, descriptive-analytical nature, and comparative analysis techniques using statutory regulations, classical fiqh, fatwas, and academic literature. The findings reveal that Islamic law permits IVF when gametes originate from a legally married couple, but prohibits third-party donors and surrogacy, as such cases result in illegitimate children without inheritance rights. In contrast, Indonesian positive law recognizes children born within lawful marriage but lacks explicit regulation regarding the use of donors or surrogate mothers, leading to a legal vacuum. This study concludes that harmonization between Islamic legal principles and positive law is essential to ensure legal certainty, safeguard the rights of IVF-born children, and prevent future inheritance disputes.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the meaning and implementation of the value of mutual trust in Imam Muslim Hadith No. 1551 as the basis for forming religious character in Islamic educational institutions. This hadith contains moral principles about Islamic brotherhood, social responsibility, and empathy that are relevant to efforts to build trust between individuals in the world of education. The novelty of this research lies in its approach, which integrates the study of hadith texts with the practical realities of education, resulting in a model for internalizing religious values that is applicable and contextual in the modern era. This research uses a qualitative approach with field research combined with content analysis of hadith texts. Data collection techniques were carried out thru observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and pesantren caregivers, and documentation of learning activities in Islamic educational institutions. The research results indicate that the internalization of mutual trust values is implemented thru integration into the learning curriculum, teacher role modeling, and the formation of an institutional culture based on honesty, responsibility, and social solidarity. This process has a positive impact on improving students' spirituality, morality, and social care. Thus, the value of mutual trust in Imam Muslim Hadith No. 1551 can be used as a conceptual foundation and practical model for strengthening religious character education in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study describes the profiles of students with low, medium, and high levels of geometric ability. These profiles serve as benchmarks to analyze student typologies in terms of economic behavior, particularly in classifying them as either thrifty savers or highly consumptive individuals. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method, involving a sample of 9 students selected from a population of 500. Referring to previous research on geometric ability based on Hass’s Theory, students are categorized according to their capabilities in visualization, conceptualization, pattern recognition, and problem-solving. The findings show that 100% of students with high geometric ability opted for saving behavior. Meanwhile, 70% of students with medium geometric ability chose to save, while the remaining 30% exhibited fully consumptive behavior. In contrast, none of the students with low geometric ability chose to save; all of them demonstrated high consumerism. In this study, saving behavior is referred to as being a “thrifty client.” It is expected that future research will provide interventions for students with low geometric ability using Hass’s geometric theory, aiming to shift their behavior towards saving and thus becoming thrifty clients. In the long term, such efforts are anticipated to help reduce consumptive behavior both at the local and global levels.
