Abstract

Every equipment and machine in every company. Requires a system to maintain the quality and quantity of the production process. With this, the system used in every company to realize the company's vision and mission, the system in question is the Total Productive Maintenance system. Every machine requires maintenance to maintain the quality of the machine, to avoid damage to the machine. Damage to the machine occurs due to obstacles in the production process, material fatigue, wear, component failure, design errors, or improper use. Machine damage is very detrimental to production results, including: Production downtime, machine damage continues, machine life is reduced, production quality is poor, and production costs increase. With the Total Productive Maintenance system, you can avoid losses from machine breakdown. PT. Abstract

Bengkel Irfan Motor adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang otomotif, menyediakan penjualan suku cadang untuk berbagai merek sepeda motor serta layanan jasa servis. Saat ini, bengkel ini masih mencatat transaksi penjualan secara manual. Hal ini menyebabkan beberapa masalah seperti pencatatan data yang memakan waktu lama dan sering tercecer, serta pengecekan stok suku cadang yang lambat karena harus dilakukan secara manual di gudang. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penulis mengusulkan penggunaan Sistem Informasi Inventory berbasis QR Code. Sistem ini akan memudahkan pemilik bengkel dalam menginput barang dan harga saat bertransaksi. Dengan sistem ini, pengecekan stok suku cadang yang hampir habis atau sudah habis bisa dilakukan dengan cepat dan efisien.

Abstract

A concrete plant, also known as a batch plant or batching plant or a concrete batching plant, is equipment that combines various ingredients to form concrete. This implementation aims to determine the manufacturing process and quality control of concrete product production. The method used in this implementation is descriptive quantitative. Steps include operational variables to determine the problem and indicators of the cause of the problem. Data collection through observation and documentation. The results of this implementation show that the implementation of manufacturing at PT WIKA Beton Tbk PPB Majalengka aims to make good concrete products, the factors for making PC Spun Pile products are made based on work instructions or standard operational procedures.

Abstract

SMP IT AR-RIDLO Jatiwangi is an integrated Islamic junior high school that originated from the AR-RIDLO Peduli Pendidikan Foundation. Construction began in 2010, and the school started operations in 2011 to accommodate students who wish to learn but whose parents are financially unable. The issues faced include problems with the registration data processing for prospective students, which is not yet computerized, and the absence of proof of registration for prospective students. Other issues include the lack of computerized creation of applicant summaries and summaries of accepted or rejected applicants. Therefore, a comprehensive information system is needed to assist with the management of the school website’s dashboard, and the generation of reports for applicant summaries and the statuses of accepted or rejected applicants. This system should integrate previously non-computerized components into a single system, enabling a more effective and faster process using the Waterfall method.

Abstract

This study examines the safety and stress factors to determine the maximum dynamic load that can be supported by the press machine frame. Dynamic loads occur due to the working mechanism of the press machine that presses the bearing. Stress analysis test simulation using the Solidwork 2020 computer program with the finite element method in the simulation test of the hydraulic press machine frame material structure with dynamic load treatment. The frame design model uses U-profile iron material UMP 50 with a thickness of 3-5mm with dimensions of 50 mm x 38 mm. The simulated variable load is 3000 kg. The simulation results show the yield strength of the material = 521.927 N / m² (Mpa) and the stress, displacement, strain values ​​at a load of 3000 kg = simulation Stress = 620.422 N / m² (Mpa), Displacement = 1.232mm, Strain = 0.001. The von Mises stress value is 29,500 N = 620.422N; 521.927 N = 1.88. The simulation results show that the hydraulic press machine frame design has a safety factor of 0.001 and can withstand dynamic loads of up to 3000 kg.

Abstract

A rice threshing machine is the process of separating rice from its stems, so that reducing rice agricultural yields is very strategic in supporting rice production. Modification of the tool which previously used a slamming system, resulted in the yield of grain containing quite high levels of grain. The aim of this research is to design the transmission rotation to make the belt pulley and shaft more effective. The rice threshing machine transmission system consists of a pulley and belt with various belt sizes. The appearance of the pulley for calculations is adjusted to a pulley size of 10 inches = 25.4cm. Then the belt that connects the 10 inch/25.4cm pulley and the 9.74cm A58 belt is the belt that connects the pulley and the shaft. Based on the results of transmission performance testing with power and planning moment of 5.8164 kW and pulley planning moment of 1573.65 kg.mm from type A, the calculation of driver pulley rotation = 3 inches (d1) and motor rotation = 3600 rpm (n1) can be used rpm of the drive pulley when it is not loaded and when working, namely the rpm of the drive pulley when it is not loaded is 1080 rpm. Furthermore, the pulley rpm when working is 9.75\ rpm\ and\ The design power of the shaft is 4.92\ for the shear stress that occurs on the shaft of 0.838 kg/mm which is smaller than the allowable shear stress with a value of 5.16 kg/mm. so that the power and moment of planning the shaft with a diameter that can be used safely.

Abstract

Lemongrass is one type of essential oil plant, which is considered to have developed. From the distillation of its leaves, lemongrass oil is obtained which is known in the world of trade as Citronella Oil. Currently, the development of essential oils is a major concern for the Indonesian government. Of the various raw materials for making Essential Oils, one of the essential oil raw materials in Indonesia that is good to be developed is Lemongrass. The purpose of this study was to obtain essential oils through the Extraction and Distillation process, obtaining Yield percentage and Water Content. Based on the results of the test and observation, the essential oil produced has physical and chemical characteristics that are in accordance with the requirements. The characteristics of lemongrass essential oil produce essential oils with a specific gravity of 0.86 mg/L.

Abstract

Technological advances have encouraged improvements in the industrial sector in developing countries, including Indonesia. This is of course supported by several factors, including the use of modern equipment as a substitute for human labor. It can be said here that the more modern an industry is, the more machine power is used while the less human power is needed. As human needs become increasingly greater, the machine industry is currently also developing very rapidly. Developments in the industrial sector are marked by the creation of various types of machines that can assist human activities. The use of machines can help human activities or work to be more efficient in terms of completion time, as well as reducing the risk of work accidents. Currently, machines are used as tools that have high automation and precision. Therefore, many people use machines for everything, one of which is a pressing machine. A pressing machine is a tool made to compress or press an object, the power source can come from hydraulics, human power, electric motors and others. The aim of this final project is to design a transmission system for a 3 Ton Semi-Automatic Hydraulic Press Machine with an electric motor drive. It can increase the author's knowledge, insight and experience regarding planning a machine. Conclusion Ball bearings with type 6203 require an installation time of 1 minute 35 seconds and removal of 1 minute 32 seconds. Ball bearings of type 6305 receive a pressure of 400 psi to be installed on the shaft, and when released the pressure produced is the same, namely 400 psi to be able to leave the shaft. A type 6206 ball bearing with a shaft length of 77 mm takes 3 minutes 32 seconds to install, while the same shaft length takes 3 minutes 22 seconds to remove from the shaft.

Abstract

This research aims to design and manufacture a citronella oil distillation device with a capacity of 10 kg. The component selection process involves analysis of various factors such as efficiency, cost, material availability, and ease of maintenance. The main components selected include extraction tubes, condensers and heating systems. Choosing the right material, such as stainless steel for corrosion resistance, is one of the main focuses to ensure tool durability. The design of this distillation tool takes into account aspects of ergonomics and user safety. The manufacturing process involves several stages, starting from detailed design, material procurement, to assembling and testing the equipment. The test results show that this distillation equipment is capable of producing lemongrass oil with quality that meets standards, as well as better time efficiency compared to traditional methods. Thus, it is hoped that this distillation equipment can increase lemongrass oil production, especially for farmers and small and medium industries.

Abstract

Testing of a 10 kg capacity lemongrass oil distillation apparatus was carried out to evaluate the performance and efficiency of the distillation process. This study includes setting main parameters such as distillation temperature, process time, and type of raw material used. The main goal is to ensure that the distillation equipment can produce lemongrass oil with optimal quality according to its capacity. The testing method involves measuring the distillation results in terms of citronella oil yield and chemical composition. This analysis provides in-depth insight into the effectiveness of distillation equipment in maintaining the quality of the lemongrass oil produced. The test results show that setting the temperature and distillation time has a significant effect on the final result, with certain conditions producing better quality lemongrass oil. The implication of this research is the importance of an in- depth understanding of operational parameters in the distillation process to maximize the production of consistently high quality lemongrass oil.
