Abstract

Word Health Organisation (WHO) research in 2020, recommends that all infants are recommended to be exclusively breastfed until the age of six months because breast milk is the gold standard of nutritional value for infants. Infants who are not breastfed will be at risk of various infectious diseases. Infectious diseases that often occur in infants include diarrhoea. Support or support from others or people closest to you plays a role in the success or failure of breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of family support with exclusive breastfeeding in breastfeeding mothers at Puskesmas L. Sidoharjo, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra. This study is a correlational analytic study with a cross sectional approach, a sample size of 59 couples. Data analysis used univariate in the form of frequency distribution and bivariate using the Chi Square test with a significance level of p <0.05. The results showed that most families were less supportive of exclusive breastfeeding, most of them gave exclusive breastfeeding to their babies, and there was a relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding. The researcher suggested health workers to increase the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding by motivating mothers to apply the knowledge they have about exclusive breastfeeding in the form of real behaviour, namely providing exclusive breastfeeding to their babies.

Labour pain is the most severe of all pains, medically assessed as sharp and hot or somatic - sharp and burning. Severe pain in labour causes the mother to experience psycholgical disorders and depression. Labour pain can be controlled with non-pharmacological methods Effleurage Massage. The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of effleurage massage on decreasing first stage pain in labouring mothers at the Pratama Citra Adinda clinic. This research is a quantitative study using a preexperimental design. In this study researchers used the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design method, namely in this design there was a pretest and Posttest before and after being given effleurage massage treatment. The sample in this study amounted to 33 people and data analysis using univariate and bivariate. The results of this study indicate that before effleurage massage, it was found that a small proportion of respondents 24.2% experienced mild pain and most respondents 75% experienced moderate pain. After the effleurage massage, it was found that almost half of the respondents 27.3% did not experience pain and some 72.7% experienced mild pain. So that there is an effect of effleurage massage on reducing pain during the first time in labour with the value of the statistical test used is the Wilcoxon test and obtained a significance value of p value = 0.000 (<0.05) means that there is a difference that gives pain before and after. There is an effect of Massage Effleurage on the pain level of labour during the active phase I. It is expected that Massage Effleurage can be done as one of the methods to reduce the pain level of labouring women during the active phase.

This type of research is correlational analytic research with cross sectional design. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The sample used in this study were all pregnant women who did antenatal checks at Puskesmas L.Sidoharjo, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra which met the inclusion criteria of 70 respondents. The results showed that 39 (55.7%) respondents knew about triple elimination, only 30 (76.9%) respondents were compliant with triple elimination checks. The Chi Square test results show a p value = 0.027. Based on these results, it is concluded that there is a relationship between the knowledge of pregnant women and compliance with triple elimination checks. It is recommended that pregnant women carry out the recommendations that have been given in conducting triple elimination checks so as to reduce maternal and infant morbidity and mortality.

Abstract

. One of the agendas of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates. Quality and regular antenatal care during pregnancy determines the health status of both the pregnant mother and the baby. Increasing knowledge and changing the attitudes of mothers regarding their own health and their child's health are important. The Ministry of Health has packaged this into the program of Pregnancy and Toddler Classes. According to data from the Tunas Harapan Rejang Lebong Health Center, the number of pregnant women in 2021 was 218, in 2022 it was 217, and in 2023 it increased to 231. The effect of counseling on the participation of pregnant women in attending pregnancy classes at Tunas Harapan Rejang Lebong Health Center in 2024 was determined. This research uses a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The total sampling technique was used, meaning the entire population was sampled. The sample received treatment in the form of counseling. Thus, the research sample consisted of 31 pregnant women.Univariate results showed that all respondents had never attended pregnancy classes (100%). Almost all pregnant women respondents (87.1%) participated in the pregnancy classes at Tunas Harapan Rejang Lebong Health Center in 2024. Bivariate results found that P-value = 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there is an effect of counseling on the participation of pregnant women in attending pregnancy classes at Tunas Harapan Rejang Lebong Health Center in 2024. Pregnant women should attend pregnancy classes regularly to better manage their behavior and avoid pregnancy danger signs.

Abstract

Based on Census Figure Survey data, it shows that the maternal mortality rate is around 305 per 100,000. It cannot be denied that caring for pregnant women during pregnancy is still a difficulty for the pregnant woman's family, especially the husband. Method: This study uses a systematic review method through relevant articles from Google Scholar with publication years 2007-2020. This article search was carried out using the Preferred Reporting Item for Systematics (PRISMA). This identification uses the Google Scholar database. Seen from the results of research in 10 journals, it shows that the level of husband's knowledge regarding pregnancy care is good, but the husband's role in domestic activities is still low, while the husband's social role in supporting pregnant women to participate in social activities is also still low. So there is a positive relationship between husband's support and the mother's motivation to pay attention to her pregnancy. It can be concluded that the success of pregnant women in undergoing the pregnancy process until delivery also depends on the role and support of the husband.

Abstract

According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) (2020), the prevalence of cephalgia in 2024 was 55%. In Indonesia, this figure is 722,084 people, while according to data from the Bengkulu City Health Office (2024), the incidence of cephalgia in Bengkulu City was 1,060. This study aimed to determine the effect of wet cupping therapy on headaches in cephalgia patients at the Bengkulu City Cupping Center Clinic. The research method used a quantitative approach with an uncontrolled pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 patients undergoing wet cupping therapy. Headache data were collected using a pain scale before and after therapy, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a decrease in the average headache score from 5.00 to 3.25 with a significance value of p = 0.001, indicating a significant effect of wet cupping therapy on headache reduction. Wet cupping therapy is effective in reducing headaches in cephalgia patients at the Bengkulu City Cupping Center Clinic. It is suggested that wet cupping therapy can be used as an alternative non-pharmacological treatment for headache patients.
