Abstract

Pandemic Covid-19 has put significant pressure on the tourism sector and has an impact on the realisation of hotel and restaurant tax revenues in Badung Regency. This condition requires strategic steps from the Badung Regency Government to realize optimal tax revenue. The aims of this study is to examine the steps taken by the Badung Regency Government to optimise the regional tax collection from Hotel and Restaurant Taxes. This paper provides a qualitative study. Research informants are all officials in the Badung Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda Badung Regency) as the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) in charge of carrying out hotel and restaurant tax levies. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation study. Data collection through interview is carried out in depth and when in saturated condition will end. This study obtained results that the strategic steps taken by the Badung Regency Government in an effort to optimize the reception of Hotel and Restaurant Taxes, include (1) Utilization of Information Technology, (2) Dissemination and Education, (3) Issuance of Regulations, (4) Tax Extensification, (5) Tax Intensification, (6) Monitoring and Evaluation and (7) Legal Supremacy.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the performance of Posyantek as a social organization in community empowerment in Setu District, South Tangerang. This study was designed in a qualitative descriptive type using data collection methods through interviews, observation, and documentation. Researchers will use indicators including productivity, service quality, responsiveness, responsibility, accountability in measuring the performance of Posyantek. The results obtained that there are still low-performance indicators, i.e. responsibility and accountability indicators. There is always a lack of communication between Posyantek and the surrounding community, which causes some Posyantek programs that are not running well. The insufficient number of Posyantek employees who are proficient in IT also causes the TTG program to be less than optimal. The absence of a standard organizational structure so that the flow of activities, especially TTG, is still not targeted.

Abstract

Green accounting has appeared as an accounting era putting forward the environmental factors as the impact of the business sustainability principle that must be maintained by an entity. This study aims to examine the environmental accounting treatment that has been applied by PT Quarzia Batik Baliand to determine the implementation of Green Accounting in supporting the business continuity of PT Quarzia Batik Bali. Business continuity acts as an economic principle, while environmental sustainability represents the social and environmental impacts generated by economic actors. These two aspects must be reconciled as their crucial nature is long-term. This study is design by using the descriptive-interpretive qualitative analysis method, which is a tool to analyse the information and data collected by interpreting the data based on the actor’s perspective. Systematically, this data processing and analysis method consists of three concurrent flows of analysis activities, such as data collection through interviews and questionnaires, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that PT Quarzia Batik Bali has anticipated the environmental pollution due to dyed waste produced from the garment industry using environmentally-friendly dyes and provides several storage tanks to recycle waste so it remains ready to be disposed of on earth. However, in the financial report the processing cost has not been presented separately as an anticipated cost of environmental pollution.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the influence of teacher teaching methods on student achievement, the influence of teacher teaching methods on the motivation of Learning, the influence of parental guidance on the motivation of Learning, the influence of parental guidance on student achievement, the influence of motivation to learn to students ' achievements, how the motivation to learn to influence teacher teaching methods on student achievement. This study was conducted on the SMAK of Santo Yoseph Denpasar. In this research student achievement is influenced by teacher teaching methods, parental guidance and motivational learning. The respondent in this study was 120 students of SMAK Santo Yoseph Denpasar. Data analysis is done using PLS (partial least square). The results showed that teacher teaching methods are positively and significantly impactful to student achievement. Then, teacher teaching methods have positive and significant influence on student achievement, proven. Furthermore, parental guidance positively and insignificant towards learning motivation, on student achievement, not proven. Learning motivation positive and significant impact on student achievement. The motivation to learn to process the relationship between teacher teaching methods to student achievement, is not proven. The motivation to learn to publish the relationship between parents ' guidance on student achievement, proven.

Abstract

Human resources are an element that will determine the achievement of goals effectively and efficiently. Employee performance is one of the main factors that can affect the progress of an organization or company. This study is intended to identify the extent of competence, organizational culture, and motivation that impress the employee performance at PT Kukuh Tangguh Sandang Mills in Bandung. This kind of causality research underlies in providing explanations and measuring the causal effect and quantitative research approach. Determining the number of samples using the Slovin' calculation formula with a precision of 10 percent to obtain a sample of 76 respondents. Data analysis techniques in this study using the aid of the SPSS for Windows Program. According to the results and discussion on the influence of competence, organizational culture, and motivation on employee performance, it can be concluded that the three determinants simultaneously and partially have a significant positive effect on employee performance. The value of the coefficient of determination was 49.3 percent, which gave a high contribution, namely competence, organizational culture, and motivation to employee performance at PT. Kukuh Tangguh Sandang Mills, Bandung.

Abstract

This study aims to examine awig-awig stimulation in developing character and improving human resources in Traditional Village of Penglipuran. A case study was conducted in the village. To answer research questions, interviews were conducted with village policy makers who have a good understanding of awig-awig and villagers who understand awig-awig and live under the awig-awig shade. This study uses purposive sampling. The data analysis was carried out in four steps, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/ verification. Validity tests of the research are credibility test, transferability test, dependability test, and confirmability test. This research reveals that stimulation of awig-awig of the Traditional Village of Penglipuran is (1) able to shape the character of the entire community according to Hindu religious values; (2) able to foster the village tourism by developing human resources based on local wisdom without being eroded by globalization, and (3) binding customary rules to make the community of the Penglipuran village remain firm and obedient to awig-awig in conjunction with the concept of Tri Hita Karana.

Abstract

The increasing number of online motorcycle taxis has an impact on tighter competition. PT Gojek Indonesia, which has existed since 2010, provides online motorcycle taxi transportation services based on applications under the 'GoJek' brand. This research examines how online customer satisfaction predicts service quality and brand image of Go-Ride services in the Jabodetabek area and the influence of both. This variety of causation studies serving as explanations and using the quantitative approach. Populations are passengers of Go-Ride services, located at Pasaraya Blok M, South Jakarta, that comes from that consumer in Jabodetabek area. The research sample uses purposive sampling to customer used Go-Ride's services as the counting of 96 respondents. Regression analysis technique using multiple regression. The results prove that online customer satisfaction can predict the service quality and brand image factors as Go-Ride's services yield impact partially and simultaneously. This is also reinforced by online customer satisfaction contributing 55.2 percent to predict service quality and brand image in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand and describe how the marketing strategy of MSMEs via Instagram in the Marketing 4.0 era. The data collection technique used was in-depth interviews with the owner of Zeen Shake and its customers as many as 70 people. The selection of informants was carried out by a purposive sampling method and the data collected were analyzed using the Nvivo software version 12. The results of this study showed that Zeen Shake carried out a marketing strategy on Instagram by uploading photos and providing information in captions, providing promos on certain days, and also upload testimonials from consumers. Besides, researchers got new findings, namely Zeen Shake also markets its products through the mouth to mouth marketing or Word of Mouth Marketing (WOMM). In the current era of Marketing 4.0, a new customer path was found (New Customer Path), from 4A (Aware, Attitude, Ask, Act Again) to 5A (Aware, Appeal, Ask, Act, Advocate). This happens because of the use of technology which causes all people to connect with one another.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the role of leadership, work environment, and work motivation in increasing satisfaction a nurse's job at the Ganesha General Hospital. The number of nurses in the hospital was 135. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to research respondents namely all nurses totalling 35 nurses so that it included the saturated sample method. Data analysis techniques were performed using path analysis, hypothesis testing was performed at a significance level of 5 per cent. Data processing is done using computer applications. The results showed that work motivation, leadership and work environment were positively significantly able to increase nurse job satisfaction. Work motivation acts as a partial mediator in the relationship of leadership to job satisfaction and works environment to job satisfaction.

Abstract

Organizations are systems and human activities that work together. In line with that, the organization is said to be a rational coordination of the activities of a number of people to achieve some general goals through the division of work and functions through a hierarchy of authority and responsibility. Analyzing the influence of motivation on job performance, analyzing the effect of job satisfaction on job performance, analyzing the influence of motivation on job satisfaction. This type of research is correlational analytic research. Correlation analysis is a statistical method used to measure the magnitude of the linear relationship between two or more variables. SEM, a complete modeling, basically consists of a measurement model (Measurement Model) and a Structural Model or Causal Model. This research is empirical evidence regarding the effect of motivation and OCB on achievement. This study uses a sample of 100 respondents who are employees of PT JNE Kota Kediri. The results showed that: motivation has an effect on OCB where effective motivation can increase or encourage an employee to feel satisfied, motivation has an effect on achievement. Where an employee who is committed to the organization will feel happy to be part of the organization, have trust and good feelings for the organization and have a desire to remain in the organization, and intend to do what is best for the organization.
