Abstract

This research examines the role of guidance and counseling in high school, focusing on the importance of the role of guidance and counseling teachers in helping students understand themselves and their environment. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation in several high schools in Jambi. The research results show that career guidance is a crucial component in school guidance and counseling programs. This program plays an important role in helping students achieve optimal personal and academic development. However, many high school students face big challenges in choosing a career path, especially in deciding to continue their college education. Effective guidance and counseling can be a solution to help students overcome these obstacles and make the right decisions regarding their future. This research emphasizes the important role of guidance and counseling in supporting student development in school and provides insight into the need to strengthen career guidance programs in the context of secondary school education.

Abstract

Islam adalah agama hanif dan rahmatan lil alamien yang mengayomi seluruh umat manusia dalam ragam variannya. Islam bergerak dalam dua dimensi, yang satu dengan lainnya tak terpisahkan. Namun, keduanya berkorelasi dan berkelindan menyatu dalam satu bingkai yang utuh. Dimensi dimaksud adalah vertikal dan horizontal. Dua dimensi ini, bagaikan ruh dan jasad yang saling bergantung untuk mencapai puncak paripurna eksistensi. Sebab, kesempurnaan keberagamaan akan memiliki impact positif bagi lingkungan sekitar sebagai wujud dari keseimbangan antarkeduanya. Beragama tidak semata-mata untuk kepentingan Tuhan Yang Kuasa. Tapi, beragama adalah bertindak praksis dalam dunia nyata, sebagai pengejewantahan keberagamaan yang sempurna demi tercapainya konfigurasi kesalehan personal dan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai hakiki agama yang sejatinya menjadi rujukan manusia dalam beragama. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif studi pustaka dengan jenis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilan temuan yang terindikasi dari banyaknya pemeluk agama yang melulu mengedepankan kesalehan personal daripada kesalehan sosial. Di mata mereka, kesalehan personal seakan menjadi puncak dari keberagamaan sehingga menafikan dimensi kesalehan sosial yang semestinya menjadi wilayah praktis dari pucuk keberagamaan yang otentik.

Abstract

In the local Madura tradition there is an Islamic tradition which has been carried out by the local community for a long time and continues to be preserved, in this tradition there is the figure (kiyai) become a center because of his social status who is the highest figure in religion and is very influential on society and its changes in religious matters. The purpose of this research is to find out the process of strengthening the religious character of the community through this tradition. This research approach uses a qualitative type of phenomenological study, data is collected by interview observation and documentation methods while data processing is done by reduction, presentation and verification of data. The results of this study are; The strengthening of religious character in this tradition occurs as in Thomas Likona's theory which starts from a process of moral knowledge that has been agreed upon naturally by society which is then translated into attitudes and behavior or as values and norms in life.

Abstract

A common problem that occurs in education is the failure to achieve educational goals. The problem also occurs in Arabic language learning caused by the lack of utilization and lack of improvisation of strategies in the learning carried out. The existing strategy seems menoton and results in a lack of student interest in Arabic.  For this reason, there is a need for strategies in learning to increase the learning drive so that it can improve cognitive and intellectual abilities. The aspect of monotheism is belief in god without associating it. This principle became the main purpose of the teachings under the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This study aims to find out methods and strategies in Tawhid-based Arabic language learning. The results of the research conducted show that there is a need for a special strategy in instilling the value of tawhid through Arabic language learning. This is an effort to provide an understanding that everything in this world is related to Allah SWT, including in the field of education. And so that students can have good morals and civility in everyday life because they always feel watched by God the creator.

Abstract

"فتيك لاوت" هو نوع من أنواع الثقافة في إندونيسيا عموما وفي جزيرة جاوى و مادورا خصوصا، يأتي من آثار الأسلاف القديمة. إن أسلمة ثقافة "فتيك لاوت"، سواء في الفهم أو في التطبيق يجب أن يؤديها حتى يفهم أعضاء المجتمع الشريعة الإسلامية حق الفهم. أما المشكلات المقدمة في هذا المقال هي دور أنشطة "فتيك لاوت" في نشر رسالة الدعوة الإسلامية بقرية كادوارا الغربية بمكاسان مادورا إندونيسيا، وهي تشتمل على مؤشرين: 1) صيغة أسلمة الثقافة في أنشطة "فتيك لاوت"، و 2) دور أنشطة "فتيك لاوت" وسيلةً لتوصيل رسالة الدعوة الإسلامية. لأجل تحقيق هذا البحث، فالمدخل المستخدم هو المدخل الكيفي الوصفي بوسيلة الملاحظة والمقابلة والثائق كأدوات جمع البيانات. أما طريقة تحقيق البيانات المستخدمة هي التثليث والملاحظة العميقة . كان البحر جزءا مهما في حياة المجتمع الساحلي. ومن هذه الحقيقة، استند المجتمع كثيرا بالموارد البحرية. من خلال الخلفية الثقافية التي تمتلكها المجتمعات الساحلية، هناك تراث خاص لاحترام الموارد البحرية ويسمى هذا الثراث بأنشطة "فتيك لاوت". قامت أنشطة "فتيك لاوت" في قرية كادوارا الغربية بابتكارات الإيجابية بحضور أسلمة الثقافة فيها. إن من صيغة هذه الأسلمة تكون في برنامج الاستغاثة الكبرى، أقيمت في أول ليلة من شهر محرم. تهدف هذه الأنشطة لإحياء ذكرى أول السنة الهجرية والافتتاح الرسمي لأنشطة "فتيك لاوت". فمن ناحية علم الدعوة، كانت في أنشطة "فتيك لاوت" امكانيات عظيمة لتوصيل رسالة الدعوة الإسلامية للمجتمعات، منها؛ دعوة للدعاء  إلى الله، والتعاون فيما بينهم ودعوة للقيام بصلة الرحم مع إخوانهم المسلمين.

Abstract

Human morality is an extended reflection to which the educational process influences daily behavior. Islamic education aims to produce output that is intelligent and moral. Implementation of Islamic education in accordance with the modern era requires inspired thought, such as  Seyyed Hossein Nasr thought. This article examines Seyyed Hossein Nasr's paradigm of islamic education. Idea that is based on absolutism tries to revive spirit in building an existence by becoming a perfect human being armed with knowledge. Muslim have to open to knowledge without compartmentalizing knowledge. This study is qualitative of literature review and seeks to describe the findings of data from any relevant literature. Researchers in collecting relevant data examined primary data sources on various journals, books and other related documents that discuss Seyyed Hossein Nasr's thoughts on Islamic education. The data are analyzed in narrative form. This study finds the result, namely the reconstruction of the thought of Seyyed Hossein Nasr who offers an Islamic education system by integrating the knowledge of 'aqli anda naqli. Islamic education in this modern era has to develop without leaving traditional values. Human nature has connectivity with God, human self, and nature (environment). Spirit of eco-theology and Scientia Sacra is quite appropriate and strives for human nature as a trustworthy caliph. Seyyed Nasr offers that human idea connectedness as a caliph must have provision of wisdom obtained through the process of Islamic education. Therefore, nowadays the educational institutions have to adopt an education system that focuses on human development with modern and traditional knowledge.

Abstract

Artikel ini memaparkan tentang malaikat dalam perspektif al-Qur'an tafsir sufi al-Qusyairi dalam kitab Lata'if al-Isyarat. Malaikat merupakan pembahasan yang menarik untuk dibahas, karena malaikat adalah makhluk gaib. al-Qusyairi yang terkenal dalam menafsirkan al-Qur'an berbeda makna zahir itu didasarkan pada tanda-tanda tersembunyi dengan mengambil jalan spiritual, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dan analitis studi kepustakaan dapat dikemukakan bahwa karakteristik al-Qusyairi penafsiran ayat-ayat malaikat dapat diklasifikasikan sebagai berikut. Pertama, penafsiran sistematis al-Qusyairi oleh tahlili, dan al-Qusyairi tidak banyak merujuk pada ayat-ayat lain. Kedua, unsur tafsir adalah penggunaan ayat-ayat munasabah. Ketiga, ciri khusus tafsir al-Qusyairi tentang malaikat adalah kaum sunni yang menolak mujassimah dan banyak memberikan perumpamaan kepada malaikat. Adapun tugas malaikat, al-Qusyairi memaknai bahwa malaikat lebih menitikberatkan pada fungsi dan relasionalnya, artinya malaikat adalah wali yang melakukan pekerjaannya sendiri dan tidak saling mengganggu dan saling campur tangan.

Abstract

The Quran contains verses and letters that are systematically and coherently structured, as supported by al-Zarkashi and al-Suyuti. But Richard Bell took a different view. For example, according to him, the letter Al-Hijr needed to be more systematic, and there were some errors in laying verses. Meanwhile, Michel Cuypers is serious about the Semitic Rhetorical Analysis (SRA) approach in analyzing the structure of the Qur'anic text to find a concentric, mirror, and parallel symmetrical patterns in the form of the Qur'anic text. Even this approach is Considered a modern methodology with a new type of dialogue. It is interesting to look for bright spots in the structure of surat al-Hijr from the perspective of SRA. So that raises the question of what is the form of the text of surat al-Hijr from the standpoint of SRA. A Semitic Rhetorical Analysis (SRA) approach is used to answer this question. That is by analyzing the pairing pattern of the text of surat al-Hijr so that it forms groups of text at the bottom level. The bottom level has reanalyzed the design to get groups of text at the level above it, and so on, until the top level is obtained, namely surat al-Hijr. This article concludes that SRA, according to surat al-Hijr, is a Book consisting of 13 Sections arranged in a concentric symmetrical pattern (A-B-C-B*-A*). Richard Bell's opinion is refuted because each verse in surah al-Hijr is capable of symmetry with other poems from the lowest level of the text to the top level, so this conclusion indicates that surat al-Hijr is systematically and Coherently arranged.

Abstract

Monotheism and faith education is primary education that must be taught to children early. Parents are the most crucial foundation in children's behaviour and language. This monotheistic education is given to make children servants of Allah, who will limit all His commands and prohibitions and become people who are helpful to society and its people. Parents can teach their children through habituation or best practice because children prefer to follow what they see, not what they hear. Of course, as role models in children's lives, parents must provide examples that develop values. Monotheism and faith in children so they can feel the love of Islam within themselves.

Abstract

Islamic religious education curriculum must have a strong foundation in its development process. The foundation plays important role to maintain the curriculum. Therefore, the curriculum developers need to establish a firm foundation in curriculum development used in madrasahs. This paper employs descriptive-analysis method in finding the foundations of the curriculum. Result shows that there are seven basic foundations in developing the curriculum, theological foundation (religion), philosophical foundation, ideological foundation, psychological foundation, sociological foundation, science and technology foundation and organizational foundation. With those foundations, madrasahs now have the firm base to foundation in determining the direction for their institutions and remain upright from the onslaught of globalization. The foundations will at least make madrasahs future-oriented in the development of Islamic civilization both nationally and internationally.
