Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between halal food product certificates in micro and small enterprises and the increase in the sales value of these products in Bone Regency. This study used qualitative research with data collection techniques, interviews, documentation, and literature observation. The research approach used in this research is phenomenology. To increase the selling value of the product, it must show product quality that refers to Islam, of course, food products that are halal certified. Halal certificates can play an important role in proving to consumers that the product meets the requirements so that consumers feel safe in consuming the product.

Abstract

As an integral part of the Islamic education system in Indonesia, Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) play a crucial role in enlightening the nation—not only in terms of knowledge and character development but also through their contributions to educational advancement. Public relations (humas) within the pesantren environment serves as a strategic platform to prepare students (santri) for effective interaction with the broader community. This study explores the objectives, forms, implementation, and benefits of student empowerment in public relations at the Ittihadul Muballighin Institute (LIM) of Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School in Kediri. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research reveals that: (1) the objectives of student empowerment in public relations encompass cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains; (2) empowerment is realized through student involvement in educational, cultural, and institutional activities; (3) implementation proceeds through four stages: planning, organizing, execution, and evaluation; and (4) these activities strengthen the relationship between the pesantren and the surrounding community, fostering mutual understanding and public trust. Moreover, they provide valuable experiential learning opportunities for students, equipping them for future community engagement.

Abstract

In the field of education, educators often do not fully understand the extent of their students’ knowledge. As a result, the importance of students' cognitive abilities is frequently overlooked, even though these abilities can serve as a benchmark for improving the quality of education. The use of an appropriate learning model can be an alternative strategy to achieve learning success. This study aims to determine the effect of the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model on students' cognitive abilities in natural science subjects. The TTW model is a learning strategy designed to encourage students to think critically, discuss their ideas verbally, and write down their thoughts based on the cognitive processes they have undergone. The research method used in this study was quasi-experimental. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, selecting class X.1 as the experimental class and class X.2 as the control class. The population in this study consisted of all Grade X students at Muhammadiyah High School in Serang City. Data collection techniques included tests (in the form of multiple-choice questions) and non-test instruments (in the form of learning implementation observation sheets). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques, including validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results of the independent sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.012, which is less than the significance level α = 0.05. Therefore, H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, indicating that the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) learning model has a significant effect on students' cognitive abilities.

Abstract

Inter-religious conflicts remain prevalent in Indonesia, with a notable increase in active intolerance among youth from 2016 to 2023. These tensions highlight the urgent need to cultivate religious tolerance as a foundation for fostering a harmonious, peaceful, and inclusive society. This study aims to analyze the role of SMP Negeri 1 Sumpiuh in promoting tolerance among its students. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through observations and interviews with nine informants. Observations focused on student interactions within the school environment, while interviews explored perspectives related to the cultivation of tolerance. Data analysis involved four stages: data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the school plays a significant role in embedding religious tolerance through the leadership of the principal, the role of teachers, applied learning methods, and the availability of supportive school facilities. The principal plays a key role in fostering a tolerant and harmonious school climate. Teachers serve as role models, implementers of tolerance-based character education, and act as surrogate parents within the school setting. The development of students' tolerance is primarily achieved through habitual practices and exemplary behavior. Additionally, facilities that support religious activities and structured routines contribute to a conducive and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

Mathematics learning at MTs Ma'arif 02 Kotagajah still relies on textbooks. As a result, students' performance in quadrilateral and triangle material is low, and their learning motivation is lacking. This research aims to develop ethnomathematics-based video teaching materials using cultural objects from Lampung—such as traditional houses, tapis cloth motifs, floor patterns and movements of the Sigeh Pengunten dance, and the shape of the Siger Tower—to help students better understand the concepts of quadrilaterals and triangles. The study evaluates the materials in terms of their validity and practicality. This research is classified as research and development (R&D). It follows the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. During the Implementation stage, only a limited trial was conducted. The instruments used in this study included validation questionnaires completed by media and material experts to assess validity, and a student response questionnaire to assess practicality. The results show that the quality of the developed product falls into the "very feasible" category. This is supported by an average score of 3.38 from the material expert and 3.45 from the media expert. In terms of practicality, based on the responses of nine students, the product falls into the "very practical" category with an average score of 3.58.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the assistance provided by the Agricultural Extension Center (Balai Penyuluh Pertanian/BPP) to Women Farmer Groups (Kelompok Wanita Tani/KWT) in Metro City in promoting economic self-reliance and household-based environmental management. The central issue examined is the extent to which BPP’s interventions, through technical training and participatory facilitation, enhance the capacity of KWT members to transform household waste into organic fertilizer and to develop sustainable home gardening practices. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research explores the mentoring activities related to organic fertilizer production, yard utilization, and the planning of fish-and-vegetable bucket cultivation (budikdamber). The findings indicate that BPP’s assistance significantly contributes to improving members’ technical skills, ecological awareness, and social solidarity in managing local resources. The innovations produced include solid and liquid organic fertilizers, optimized household-scale gardening, and the initiation of budikdamber practices. These results reinforce participatory development and gender-based community empowerment theories while enriching the literature on urban agroecology in Muslim urban settings. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of technical and social approaches in women-centered agricultural mentoring that responds to issues of food security and domestic waste management. This article offers a collaborative mentoring model that can be replicated in other urban-periurban areas with similar social characteristics.
