Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of macroeconomic variables—namely inflation, interest rate (BI Rate), and the rupiah exchange rate—on the LQ45 Index and the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2019–2023. The approach used is quantitative associative with monthly time series data comprising 60 samples, obtained from the official websites of Bank Indonesia, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), and Yahoo Finance. The analytical method employed is multiple linear regression. The results show that, partially, inflation and the rupiah exchange rate have a significant effect on both the LQ45 and JII indices, while the interest rate does not have a significant effect on either index. Simultaneously, all three independent variables significantly influence both stock indices. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) for the LQ45 index is 0.429 and for the JII is 0.547, indicating that inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates contribute significantly to the fluctuations of these stock indices. These findings offer important implications for investors and capital market participants in considering macroeconomic factors before making investment decisions in either the conventional or sharia stock markets.

Abstract

The corporate university serves as a strategic solution for companies seeking to implement structured learning programs aligned with their business strategies. The purpose of this study is to assess the readiness level of the corporate university at PT XYZ and to develop an improvement plan to address existing gaps. This research adopted a qualitative approach, utilizing observation and in-depth interviews with internal stakeholders directly involved in the transformation of the conventional training unit into a corporate university. Data analysis methods included observational checklist analysis, data reduction from interview transcripts, keyword identification, coding, and drawing conclusions based on the data. The findings reveal that out of twenty-six identified corporate university functions and activities, four have not yet been fulfilled by PT XYZ’s corporate university. These unmet areas broadly relate to the corporate university’s roles in employee career planning, strategic recruitment, succession planning, and the provision of library and electronic information resources. Based on these findings, this study proposes a development plan to enhance the corporate university at PT XYZ.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which training and individual character affect employee performance, considering the role of quality of work life as a mediating variable in the relationship. This study was conducted at the Department of Housing and Settlement Areas with a quantitative approach, by distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents. The sampling technique used was probability sampling. Data processing was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach assisted by SmartPLS software. The results of this study reveal that training and individual character have a significant and positive influence on employee performance, both directly and through the intermediary of quality of work life. Quality of work life has been shown to act as a mediator that strengthens the influence between training and individual character on improving performance. Thus, this study highlights the importance of providing appropriate training, forming a strong work character, and creating a supportive work climate as the main strategies in efforts to improve employee performance, especially in public sector agencies.

Abstract

The changing dynamics of the modern workplace demand that organizations manage human resources not only from a technical perspective but also from a psychological one. Psychological capital (PsyCap), which includes hope, self-efficacy, resilience, and optimism, has become an essential asset in supporting job performance, particularly among millennial employees who now dominate the workforce. This study aims to systematically examine the influence of PsyCap on the job performance of millennial employees using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. Literature was collected from the Google Scholar and ScienceDirect databases, resulting in 14,619 articles that were filtered based on specific inclusion criteria, ultimately narrowing down to 5 primary articles. The findings indicate that PsyCap has a positive and significant impact on job performance. Several studies also identified mediating variables such as work engagement that strengthen the relationship between PsyCap and job performance. This study emphasizes that strengthening PsyCap through psychological interventions and supportive work environments can be an effective strategy for improving the job performance of millennial employees.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of destination awareness and destination image on the interest in visiting Telaga Madirda, with perceived quality as a mediating variable. The method used was a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique on 245 respondents who knew Telaga Madirda. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method through SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study showed that destination awareness and destination image had a positive and significant effect on the perception of quality and interest in visiting. In addition, perceived quality was proven to mediate the relationship between destination awareness and destination image with interest in visiting. These findings indicate the importance of building awareness and a positive image of a destination and maintaining the quality of the tourism experience to increase tourist interest in visiting.

Abstract

As a company tasked with catalyzing the economy, banking has a level of profitability and risk that needs to be considered. The dangers faced include a decrease in profitability and company value. This research aims to analyze the influence of profitability moderation on the influence of company size and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) on banking company value. Using purposive sampling, this research found 11 samples of conventional banking companies listed on the IDX in 2018-2021 and analyzed using the Moderation Regression Analysis (MRA) method with SPSS 25. The results of the research show that without and with ROE as a moderating variable, the influence of company size on company value remains significant and increases when there is ROE as moderating variable; however, the ERM variable with or without ROE as a moderating variable still does not have a considerable influence on company value.

This research aims to design an employer branding strategy for key positions in PT XYZ, focusing on how employer branding influences the decision of talents in key positions to be interested in joining and staying in the company. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data was collected through interviews, document analysis, surveys to employees and candidates for key positions. This research utilizes Moesly & Schimdt's employer branding framework in the steps of building a strong employer branding. The research findings show that employer branding efforts, especially those that emphasize career development opportunities, building authentic EVP values, developing talent communities, digital recruitment platforms and increasing employee engagement in employer branding programs play an important role in attracting and retaining talent in key positions. The proposed strategies include EVP internalization, cross-unit collaboration, talent community development and strengthening the employer branding platform. This study contributes to the academic discourse on strategic human resource management especially employer branding and offers practical recommendations for companies that want to become employers of choice in the telecommunications industry.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of religiosity, religious events, attitude, perceived behavioral control, and profit maximization orientation on Generation Z’s investment intention toward Sharia products in the capital market. The research involved 230 respondents residing in Central Java (Indonesia) and employed a quantitative approach with data analysis using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that religious events, attitude, and profit maximization have a significant positive influence on investment intention, while religiosity and perceived behavioral control do not show significant effects. In making investment decisions within the Sharia capital market, Generation Z tends to consider religious events as important moments, along with the potential financial returns they may gain. Additionally, their attitudes, shaped by Islamic values, also contribute to strengthening their interest in investing in instruments that align with Sharia principles.

Abstract

Tight competition in Indonesia’s healthcare sector highlights the need for hospitals to strengthen patient loyalty. While perceived value and patient trust are recognized as key determinants, the mediating role of trust in the value–loyalty relationship remains understudied. This study examines the effect of service experience on perceived value, the effect of perceived value on patient loyalty, and the mediating role of patient trust among patients at RS SWASTA XYZ in Tangerang. Using a cross-sectional design and purposive sampling, respondents completed an online questionnaire measuring service experience, perceived value, trust, and loyalty. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. Results show that service experience significantly increases perceived value, and perceived value significantly enhances patient loyalty. Perceived value does not significantly influence patient trust. Patient trust strongly affects loyalty and significantly mediates the relationship between perceived value and loyalty. These findings highlight the central role of service experience and trust in shaping patient loyalty within private hospital settings.
