Abstract

The leadership model in organizations is still entangled in negative stereotypes. No wonder then if the names of new leaders appear with a non-mainstream style. This is certainly one indicator that the old-style leadership model is still dominant in the bureaucracy. The stereotype of the old style of leadership in the bureaucracy is like placing the leader as a father and subordinate as a child who always has to obey every command. The concept of transformational leadership is an art that must be practiced by all leaders in every organization, because a transformational leader will prioritize communication in interacting with all elements he leads and can directly optimize the performance management of an organization through his communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation, work discipline, motivation, and work environment on employee performance at PT Iskandar Indah Printing Textile (Iskandartex). The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. The population in this study comprises all weaving section employees at PT Iskandar Indah Printing Textile, with a sample of 100 respondents selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that compensation, work discipline, and motivation partially have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, the work environment does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneously, compensation, work discipline, motivation, and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.341 indicates that 34.1% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by the four independent variables, while the remaining 65.9% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. This study suggests that companies should increase their focus on compensation, work discipline, and motivation to enhance employee performance. Additionally, even though the work environment does not show a significant effect, it is still important for companies to create a conducive work environment to support employee well-being and productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of locus of control, love of money, and financial literacy on financial planning, and to understand how financial literacy moderates the relationship between these factors and financial planning. The findings indicate that both locus of control and love of money have a significant positive impact on financial planning. Conversely, financial literacy has a significant negative effect on financial planning and does not significantly moderate the relationship between love of money and financial planning. This suggests that, although financial literacy is crucial, the overconfidence often associated with high levels of financial literacy can lead to riskier financial decision-making. The study highlights the need to consider psychological factors such as locus of control and love of money in financial planning, as well as the importance of managing overconfidence in financial literacy to avoid suboptimal financial decisions. Additionally, this study is important for individuals of productive age who are investing their money

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the green investment intentions of Indonesian investors. The Indonesian government is initiating sustainable development with the new capital city, which is envisioned as a green city. Indonesia faces significant environmental challenges, including air pollution, which ranks the country 26th out of 131 countries with poor air quality, according to the 2022 IQAir report. In response, the government has issued green sukuk to support green projects further. Previous research in many developing countries has utilized the theory of planned behavior as a framework. This study collected primary data by distributing questionnaires to 210 investors in Batam. The data was analyzed using the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate that green perceived behavioral control and environmental concern have a significant positive effect on green investment intentions. However, green attitude and green subjective norms do not directly influence green investment intentions. The findings highlight that green perceived behavioral control and environmental concern are critical factors in shaping investment intentions, suggesting that investors' actions are driven by internal motivations and environmental concerns

Abstract

The current trend in digital marketing presents a significant opportunity, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Industry 4.0 era. Digital marketing offers many advantages over traditional methods, especially its ability to track and measure strategic effectiveness. This research aims to optimize digital marketing strategies to enhance promotion and sales performance for the MSME Nostalgia Coffee. A qualitative approach was used, employing method triangulation through interviews, observation, and content analysis to validate findings and ensure data credibility. Results show that optimizing digital marketing—especially through Instagram, WhatsApp Business, and online food delivery platforms—led to a measurable impact. Instagram account reach increased by 26.3%, with a 69.2% rise in followers over 14 days. Customer interaction also improved, with 34 engaged accounts, comprising 86.3% followers and 13.7% non-followers. Furthermore, Google Reviews improved with 14 new reviews, increasing total online ratings and strengthening public perception. These findings suggest that strategic implementation of digital tools can enhance customer engagement and brand visibility. Future studies are recommended to apply these strategies on a wider scale and over a longer timeframe to achieve sustained growth and adaptability.
