Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, the practice of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah values (AIK), and quality management on the performance of the academic community at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kuningan. The research subjects include lecturers and administrative staff actively engaged within the university. A quantitative method with a survey approach was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results show that work motivation, AIK practices, and quality management simultaneously have a significant effect on improving academic community performance. Partially, each of these variables also has a significant positive effect, with AIK practice emerging as the dominant variable influencing performance. These findings underscore the importance of integrating Islamic and Muhammadiyah values into higher education governance and the need for the implementation of quality management to support overall institutional performance improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of asset structure and financing sources on firm value with financial performance as a mediating variable in the Indonesian agricultural industry. The sample consisted of 24 agricultural companies during the 2020–2024 period, and the analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings reveal that financial performance, measured by Return on Assets (ROA) and Net Profit Margin (NPM), does not mediate the relationship between asset structure or financing sources and firm value, which was measured using Tobin’s Q and Price to Book Value (PBV). Asset structure, represented by fixed asset proportion and current ratio, does not significantly affect financial performance, as fixed assets in agricultural companies are often less productive in the short term and current ratio does not always reflect efficiency. Similarly, financing sources, measured by debt to assets ratio and debt to equity ratio, show no significant impact on financial performance, as high risk in agriculture makes debt financing increase interest burdens without ensuring profitability. These results highlight that firm value in the agricultural sector is more strongly shaped by external factors. Thus, improving firm value requires integrated strategies combining efficient asset management, innovative financing policies, and adaptation to external dynamics.

Abstract

This study investigates the moderating effect of the dividend payout ratio on the relationship between gender diversity, CEO profile, and firm value. CEO profile is assessed through gender, age, education level, and tenure. The study uses a sample of 130 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over 2019–2023 period, with secondary data obtained from company websites and the IDX portal. Panel data regression analysis was conducted using EViews 12 to examine the direct effects of gender diversity and CEO characteristics on firm value, as well as the moderating role of the dividend payout ratio. The results reveals that CEO education, profitability, and tenure have a positive and significant effect on firm value, while CEO age and firm size exhibit negative effects. The dividend payout ratio significantly moderates the relationship between gender diversity, CEO characteristics, and firm value, highlighting its strategic importance in corporate governance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of autonomous motivation, cognitive reappraisal, and sense of belonging on reinvestment intentions in speculative digital assets, specifically meme coins. This study uses the Self-Determination Theory framework to understand how motivational factors, emotional regulation, and social attachment influence young people's investment decisions in the digital space. The research method employed a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 180 young investor respondents who actively invest in meme coins on the Solana chain. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results showed that autonomous motivation and sense of belonging had a positive and significant effect on reinvestment intentions, while cognitive reappraisal had no significant effect. These findings confirm that digital investment decisions are more influenced by personal value alignment and social attachment than by emotional reinterpretation. Theoretically, this study extends the application of Self-Determination Theory in the context of behavioral finance by highlighting the importance of intrinsic motivation and social relationships in digital financial behavior. Practically, these results recommend the need to develop financial literacy and emotional intelligence in young investors so they can manage risk and maintain psychological stability in the face of crypto market volatility.

Abstract

High turnover intention in the healthcare sector is a strategic challenge because it can disrupt service continuity and increase the workload of both medical and non-medical personnel. This study aims to analyze the influence of Absenteeism, Affective Organizational Commitment, Organizational Justice, and Alternative Job Opportunities on Turnover Intention in health facility employees by referring to Social Exchange Theory. This study used a quantitative approach through a survey involving a population of 524 employees, with a final sample of 235 respondents working in three hospitals. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS to examine the relationship between variables. The results showed that Absenteeism and Alternative Job Opportunities had a significant positive effect on Turnover Intention, indicating that absenteeism and external job opportunities were strong driving factors for turnover intention. Meanwhile, Affective Organizational Commitment and Organizational Justice did not show a significant effect. The research model was able to explain some of the variance in turnover intention, indicating that behavioral factors and labor market dynamics were more dominant in shaping employee turnover decisions. These findings provide important implications for hospital management to strengthen retention strategies through controlling absenteeism, improving perceptions of fairness, and providing more competitive career development paths.
