Abstract

Cooperatives as an institution with member welfare are the main goal through the process of dividing the remaining operating results (SHU). This study will examine the resulting influence on aspects of cooperatives such as the number of members, owner's capital , external capital, and business volume on SHU. Cooperatives throughout West Java Province were selected as research subjects, with data acquisition using Time Series with Cross Sections in 26 cities/districts of West Java Province in 2018-2020. The quantitative method uses a descriptive approach and panel data regression analysis, which succeeded in finding that number of members is partially positively related to the remaining operating results but has no significant effect. Owner’s capital and business volume can positively and significantly affect the remaining operating results. Meanwhile, external capital creates a significant negative impact on SHU. In a simultaneous study, all independent variables significantly positively influenced the SHU.

Abstract

One of the staple foods of the people of Indonesia besides corn is rice. East Java Province is a potential rice-producing area because most of its territory is an agricultural area. This makes the province continue to increase rice production for the continuity of Indonesia's food self-sufficiency, especially in the East Java region itself. This study aims to determine the effect of harvest area, agricultural labor, and rainfall on rice production in East Java Province during the period 2001-2021. The analysis used is the Cobb-Douglas production function with multiple regression analysis using the Eviews. The results showed that the harvest area and agricultural labor had a positive effect on rice production. Meanwhile, rainfall has no effect on rice paddy production.

Abstract

The development of an increasingly developing era makes a lot of competition between competitors in various sectors. Starting from the industrial sector to retail. One that is experiencing intense competition in today's era is a company engaged in the printing sector. This happened in the printing sector when there were several new companies that came with renewable technology, causing the companies that were first engaged in the printing sector to experience a decline in sales. To survive against other competitors, entrepreneurs in the printing sector must be more creative and innovative to be able to compete. There are several ways that several companies engaged in the printing sector can use to stay afloat in the face of new competitors like today. For example, by providing a price cut, improving the quality of their products, or improving the quality of the services they provide to customers. The measurement scale used in this study uses a linkert scale using a non-probability technique aside from the accidental sampling method for sampling. Researchers used samples from the existing population of 55 respondents. The data collection was carried out by researchers using a questionnaire distribution system with Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that product quality and service quality have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction at the printing press Jogja printing in Madiun

Abstract

This study discusses financial management in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Takalar Regency. The main problem of this research is that SMEs do not really understand about good financial management. Where there are 4 (four) indicators in financial management, namely financial planning, recording, reporting, and control. This study aims to find out how the application of financial management is carried out by MSME actors in Takalar Regency. This type of research uses a qualitative research type, with research locations in Takalar Regency. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews and document review. Informants in this study were 10 (ten) MSME’s engaged in the trading sector. The results of this study indicate that MSME actors in Takalar Regency have implemented financial management but have not maximized it. The most widely applied indicators are financial planning, recording and control. Meanwhile, reporting indicators have not been implemented properly. This is due to limited time and human resources and business actors running their own businesses. In addition, MSME’s do not have an accounting background so that knowledge related to financial management is still lacking.
