Abstract

The purpose of this research are expected to provide a comprehensive and well-organized overview of the school mechanism in developing the PAI curriculum within the Kurikulum Merdeka.. The object of this research is SMP Simajaya, located in Siman Sekaran, Lamongan. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the analysis and discussion of the data obtained by the researcher, it can be concluded that the development of the PAI curriculum within the Kurikulum Merdeka at SMP Simanjaya is carried out through the formation of a Curriculum Development Team by the school principal, established no later than one month before the start of the new academic year. The team consists of school structural officials, subject teachers, school supervisors, curriculum experts, and the school committee. The team formulate the curriculum components together. The planning process for the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (IKM), which includes the PAI curriculum, begins with drafting the KOSP document, followed by the preparation of the Learning Objective Flow, and then the development of teaching modules and Project Modules for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile. The planning is outlined in the SMP Simanjaya Curriculum Document, which includes an analysis of the characteristics of SMP Simanjaya, the school's vision, mission, and objectives, as well as the organization of learning activities.

Abstract

Pesantren as the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia has a very noble mission, where everything that is done must ultimately lead to the formation of a generation with noble morals. This can be done in various ways, either through direct exemplary behavior exemplified by the kiai and ustadz or through understanding gained after studying the yellow book. The understanding of the yellow book should be mastered by students in a not too long time, so that they are also able to practice it immediately. So to realize this, an effort that is different from the others is needed. The type of research is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach with data collection through participatory observation, structured interviews and documentation studies. The data analysis technique is through condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions while the data validity test is carried out by extending observations, increasing perseverance, adequacy of references, and member checks. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the one teacher two students method at the Gemayasih Cibungur Parungponteng Tasikmalaya Islamic Boarding School was carried out with structured planning, organization that includes determining the books to be studied, determining the mudaris and determining the students, implementing the one teacher two students method which was carried out after the dawn prayer and evaluation consisting of daily and semester evaluations. The existence of this one teacher two students method has a very significant impact on the development of reading yellow books by students and santriyah, this is evidenced by always winning the sub-district and district level competitions in the 2021-2024 period in the field of MQK (Musabaqoh Qira'atul Kutub).

Abstract

This study was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Matholiul Falah Kandangmas Dawe Kudus Academic Year 2024/2025. This study is a descriptive qualitative research. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data was then analyzed through four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, The results of this study show that (1) the headmaster's supervision plays a role in enhancing teacher discipline by providing oversight, support, and direction to teachers in the teaching and learning process. The head of the madrasah carries out indirect supervision, namely by providing guidance and direction in a forum together or in groups. In addition, supervision is carried out directly using individual techniques, namely class visits. (2) The supporting factors for enhancing teacher discipline through supervision are adequate facilities, salaries, comfortable work environment, good communication between teachers and supervisors, and teachers' awareness of improving their discipline. The inhibiting factors are limited time, the headmaster's many activities, and teachers' absence during scheduled supervision. (3) The follow-up actions taken by the headmaster to improve teacher discipline include providing evaluation feedback, individual and group coaching, involving teachers in training, and coordinating with teachers to improve supervision evaluation results

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the journey of Isra' and Mi'raj of the Prophet Muhammad from a scientific perspective. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative with library research by analyzing related books and journals, where the data is obtained by studying the theme of Isra' Mi'raj in the perspective of science with in-depth study. After the data is collected, it is then analyzed with the concept and theory of Zero Kelvin. Through this study, it can be seen that the Zero Kelvin Theory and Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle are so far suitable to explain the Isra' Mi'raj event, where the body of the Prophet Muhammad when traveling Isra' and Mi'raj traveled at the speed of light. Keywords: Prophet Muhammad, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, isra', mi'raj, and the Kelvin Zero Theory.

Abstract

This research aims to describe how School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds are managed to meet the facilities and infrastructure standards at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak in the 2024/2025 academic year. The study addresses three research questions: 1. How are BOS funds managed to fulfill the facilities and infrastructure standards at MI Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak, in the 2024/2025 academic year? 2. What supporting and inhibiting factors affect the fulfillment of these standards and what’s the solution? 3. What outcomes are achieved in meeting the facilities and infrastructure standards through BOS-fund management? A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with MI Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam, Demak, serving as the research site. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that: 1. BOS fund management covering budget planning, bookkeeping, auditing and accountability successfully met the facilities and infrastructure standards for classrooms, sports areas, places of worship, and the library. 2. Supporting factors include the principal’s commitment, school-committee backing, teacher involvement, and assistance from nearby institutions, whereas inhibiting factors comprise limited BOS funding, restricted land availability, and inadequate continuity in maintaining existing facilities. And efforts to overcome the limitations of facilities and infrastructure in school are carried out by establishing good relations between the school and the committee and several agencies around the school in order to create a more conducive environment for the development of education in school. 3. Overall, BOS-fund management at MI Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam, Demak, yielded positive results in fulfilling the facilities and infrastructure standards.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Al-Qur'an Hadith students through the role of teacher professional competence. The formulation of the problem of this comprehensive paper consists of: 1). What is the role of teacher professional competence in improving the learning outcomes of Al-Qur'an Hadith Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak in the 2024/2025 Academic Year? 2). What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the learning outcomes of Al-Quran Hadith students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak in the 2024/2025 Academic Year? 3). How are the results of improving the learning outcomes of Al-Quran Hadith students through the role of professional competence of teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak in the 2024/2025 Academic Year? This study uses a qualitative approach. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The object of the research is located at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using data analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of this study indicate that 1) Teachers' professional competence includes: mastering material, conceptual structure, and scientific mindset, mastering competency standards and basic competencies, developing lesson materials, developing their professionalism, utilizing information and communication technology. 2) Supporting factors are a religious environment that has the habit of reciting the Qur'an and is close to religious studies. While the inhibiting factor is the emergence of gadgets that gradually seize children's interest so that they forget the time. 3) The results of improving the learning outcomes of students' Al-Quran Hadith include the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains can be improved through the role of professional competence of teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahussalam 1 Wonosalam Demak in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between learning motivation—both intrinsic and extrinsic—and academic achievement among students at SMP Darul Akhlaq, Probolinggo Regency. The research employed a quantitative correlational approach involving 34 students from three grade levels in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and academic report documentation, then analyzed using SPSS 24. Validity testing confirmed that all questionnaire items were valid, and the reliability test yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.581, indicating acceptable reliability. Simple linear regression analysis showed an R value of 0.717 and R² of 0.514, indicating that learning motivation contributes 51.4% to variations in students’ academic achievement. These findings underscore the significant role of motivation in academic success and highlight the need for school-based interventions to create a supportive learning environment. This study offers contextual contributions by focusing on an Islamic school setting, which remains underexplored in research on this topic.

Abstract

This research examines the integration of Islamic ta’dib values and the Juz 30 tahfiz program in developing the religious character of students at Pesantren At-Tarojji. The purpose of this study is to explore how the combination of character education and Qur’anic memorization contributes to shaping students' religiosity, discipline, and moral behavior. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with musyrifah, teachers, and students, as well as documentation review. The study found that the integration is reflected in structured daily routines, active role modeling by educators, and continuous spiritual mentoring. Tahfiz activities are not limited to memorization but are also used as a medium for internalizing Islamic values contained in the verses. Through reflective learning and consistent practice, students gradually form strong religious habits and personal discipline. The presence of musyrifah in small-group mentoring intensifies students' engagement and helps them apply Islamic values in their daily lives. The holistic approach implemented in this pesantren encourages not only cognitive mastery of the Qur’an but also emotional and behavioral development aligned with Islamic teachings. The findings suggest that integrating ta’dib and tahfiz programs can be a highly effective strategy for building students' religious character in Islamic educational institutions. This study provides insights for educators and pesantren administrators aiming to enhance character formation through Qur’an-centered, value-based education.
