JURNAL TRANSFORMASI: Jurnal Teologi dan Kepemimpinan diterbitkan oleh Sekolah Tinggi Teologi INTI Bandung. Tujuan dari penerbitan jurnal ini adalah untuk mempublikasikan hasil kajian ilmiah dan penelitian terkait dalam pengembangan isu-isu yang berhubungan dengan penggembalaan, misi, dan kepemimpinan Kristen dalam konteks yang luas dan transformatif. JURNAL TRASFORMASI: Jurnal Teologi dan Kepemimpinan menerima karya ilmiah dari berbagai sub-disiplin ilmu teologi, pastoral, misi, kepemimpinan Kristen, dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Karya ilmiah yang dikirimkan haruslah belum pernah atau tidak sedang dalam proses dimuat di jurnal lainnya. Karya Ilmiah yang masuk harus sesuai dengan petunjuk penulisan atau format yang telah ditetapkan. Editor akan menolak karya ilmiah yang tidak memenuhi persyaratan tanpa proses lebih lanjut. Karya ilmiah yang telah memenuhi persyaratan akan dinilai kelayakannya oleh reviewer melalui proses blind review.

Abstract

Interpretasi Yesus membasuh kaki murid-muridnya memunculkan dua garis utama penafsiran. Pertama, kesediaan untuk merendahkan diri dalam pelayanan dalam diri para murid akibatnya menjadi contoh bagi orang percaya. Kedua, membasuh kaki berhubungan dengan kematian-Nya yang sudah dekat akibatnya memberikan efek keselamatan bagi para murid dan orang percaya lainnya. Dalam artikel ini pertanyaannya bagaimana melihat ke dua utama penafsiran ini sebagai satu kesatuan, khususnya jika dilihat dari dalam konteks Wejangan Perpisahan (Farewell Discourse) dari Injil Yohanes. Kesimpulannya adalah interpretasi terhadap dua bagian penafsiran itu jika dilihat sebagai suatu kesatuan memberikan penekanan pada gambaran spiritualitas Kristen. Dimana Inti Spiritualitas Kristen terletak pada kehidupan seorang murid Kristus.

Abstract

Kasih adalah suatu hal yang sangat penting dalam hidup orang percaya, karena melalui kasih manusia bisa mencintai Allah dan mengasihi sesamanya manusia. Namun realitanya banyak orang percaya yang justru menyelepekan dan bahkan mereka sangat susah untuk mengasihi orang-orang yang mungkin derajatnya tidak sesuai dengan ekspektasi yang diharapkan. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan memberi penjelasan bagi setiap orang supaya mereka bisa memahami kasih itu seperti apa menurut pandangan St. Maximus, dan setelah mengetahui definisi tentang kasih, maka mereka akan mengaplikasikannya dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari baik untuk mengasih sesama manusia terlebih-lebih untuk mengasihi Allah.

Abstract

Max Weber's research in the 20th century regarding bureaucratic government was carried out by paying attention to the work ethic (outside and usability). Using the entities of efficiency and effectiveness, Weber termed the ideal bureaucracy. And of course the gate of achievement is selection. Weber argues, the right and correct selection will develop a long-term career in the company by giving them job security and performance-based rewards. What about the current condition, seen from the many cases of corruption in government institutions? This article reviews the virtues of external bureaucratic apparatus so as not to show a hedonic attitude stemming from usury-seeking activities. That is, the knowledge that underpins rational action is a causal property understood in terms of means-end relations, aspiring toward a logically interconnected and systematic whole. It is in this segment that serious and measurable improvements should be needed.

Abstract

The existence of an infinite God turns out to give birth to many debates and even misunderstandings, both from theologians and non-theologians. In this case, God who is outside of time, as well as within time is considered absurd. This is a paradox that will continue to be debated from time to time in all circles. Therefore, the author is interested in looking at this issue from the Church Fathers' perspective of God being Transcendent/outside of time, and Immanent/in (material) time. This article will give an overview of how to understand the Transcendent God through the Material?

Abstract

The doctrine of incarnation is no longer a new topic of discussion. Incarnation has been a never-ending discussion in the history of Christianity because it is closely related to God, who is worshiped and glorified. This article examines this incarnation based on Hilarion Alfeyef's understanding. The method used in writing is based on a literature method from the book "Orthodox Christianity" by Hilarion Alfeyev. This writing was also supported by church fathers, books, and theological journals related to the discussion. Alfeyev emphasizes that the incarnation of the Word of God is an act of God's love in repairing and restoring human nature that has been damaged. Other scholars claim that God became incarnate in punishing human sin. However, this is behind this statement. Alfeyev found God's act of love to be the main reason for the incarnation, not human sin. Therefore, the carnation is an integral part of human life. The results of this article found that God's act of love made man back into his image and likeness through restoration in the Incarnation of the Word of God.

Abstract

Having a child who is in his teens causes a lot of fear in parents. Parents' biggest fear is the societal impact on their child. Especially if you look at the current conditions, many teenagers are falling into the current of juvenile delinquency due to misassociation. The author can understand the fear experienced by parents because there have been too many bad examples of the influence of association on adolescents. Print and electronic mass media news show that every day there is terrible news about troubled teenagers. They commit crimes, brawls, gangs, taking illegal drugs, drug and alcohol addiction.

Abstract

The success of a mission's work also depends on the leadership that oversees it. This expression is not just a figment of the imagination, but a fact that has been written down by history. Medieval church missions are an example, providing some evidence that the erroneous actions of mission leaders hampered development and even halted it. Mission activities need to reflect Biblical truth, especially the apostolic leadership of the apostles. Among the several apostles, one who can be used as a patron is Paul in Romans 15-16. These two articles have an integral structure that is able to show Paul's apostolic leadership pattern, especially in efforts to fulfill his divine mission to all nations. Through a thematic analysis approach by paying attention to structural, grammatical, historical and contextual aspects, several points were obtained regarding Paul's apostolic leadership pattern, including uniting churches of various nationalities, carrying out missions for all nations, preaching the gospel, reaching new areas, mobilizing social missions for those in need, encouraging prayer support, establishing partnerships across diverse ethnic groups and social strata, seeking to mature the congregation, and serving in a Christ-centered manner. These points can be categorized into internalization, interconnection and integration aspects.

Abstract

The volunteers of ushers at Oasis Prayer show interesting facts: most of them are elderly mothers; not only that, some of them also have jobs, but they still choose to be loyal to be involved in service at Oasis Prayer. The author suspects that the loyalty of serving the Oasis prayer usher volunteers is due to the influence of Bambang Widjaja's charismatic leadership style as an elder at GKPB Fajar Pengharapan. To prove this assumption, the author conducted this research. This research uses quantitative methods, specifically a survey delivered to 30 volunteer ushers at Oasis Prayer, and shows the research results that first, Bambang Widjaja is a charismatic leader according to the volunteer ushers; secondly, the volunteer ushers at Oasis Prayer are loyal servants; and third, the loyalty of the volunteer ushers at Oasis prayer is influenced by the charismatic leadership of Dr. Bambang Widjaja. So that it produces a hypothetical conclusion, HA is accepted, and H0 is rejected, namely that Bambang Widjaja's charismatic leadership influences the loyalty of the Oasis prayer ushers at GKPB Fajar Pengharapan in 2022.

Abstract

This article delves into the pivotal role of the Holy Spirit in guiding believers towards a sanctified life, mirroring that of Jesus. Anchored in the teachings of Peter outlined in 1 Peter 1:13-16, this research aims to bridge the scientific gap regarding the role of the Holy Spirit. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study leverages Biblical texts and literature reviews. The analysis reveals that the Holy Spirit enables life transformation, allowing alignment with God's will and bringing Him glory. The fullness of the Holy Spirit, both temporally and permanently, engenders a profound understanding of God's intentions. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit is the personification of God, leading and guiding in daily life. By liberating the human spirit from sin, the Holy Spirit shapes and steers the lives of believers, enabling them to bear witness to God's will in this world.

Abstract

Bullying is a behavior that occurs when someone often oppresses someone physically, verbally or relationally. This causes someone to experience the impact of bullying. This research aims to determine the description experienced by victims of bullying. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method and collects data through interviews and observation. The respondents studied were teenagers who experienced bullying. From the results of the interview, it was found that the impact experienced had a bad effect, namely a feeling of trauma and fear of other people due to the treatment of friends in the school environment. This impact is in the form of the informant preferring to remain silent and being treated no matter what and being overshadowed by past events so that he/she becomes a more closed person. For this reason, the author raised the title "Application of the Christian Counseling Model Solution-Based Brief Therapy Counseling to Adolescents Who Experience Bullying" so that this counseling can help or guide informants out of the impacts experienced by adolescents who experience bullying.
