Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan become a CrossRef Member since the year 2019. Therefore, all articles published will have a unique DOI number. Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the backhand service using the drill variant method in the extracurricular activities of SMA Negeri 28, Tangerang Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach to the experimental method. This research is located at SMA Negeri 28, Tangerang Regency, with a total of 23 students. This population was taken using a total sampling technique. This research instrument used drill variations. Data analysis techniques used pretest and posttest design. The results of this study were an average pretest of 6.57 and for a post test of 7.57. The results of the data obtained from this study are an increase in value (2-tailed) 0.00 less than the level of increase (a) = 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the drill variation method can affect serviceability. backhand at Sman 28 extracurricular, Tangerang Regency

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply the Think Pair Share learning model as an effort to improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning. This research uses a type of classroom action research, which is one of the problem-solving strategies that utilizes real action from the process of detecting problem-solving abilities. The design used in this study is the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, but to complete the data also used qualitative data. This research step is carried out in 2 cycles and each cycle consists of 2 meetings. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection using observation sheets, tests and documentation. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share learning model using can improve activities and learning outcomes Indonesian grade II students. The average score for student graduation criteria starting from pre-cycle on was 60.7%, which then increased by 9.95% in cycle I and became 70.65%. Meanwhile, the percentage of student graduation increased in the second cycle, which was 18.77% and became 89.42%. This increase proves that the TPS (Think Pair Share) learning model in Indonesian learning can improve the learning outcomes of grade II students.

Abstract

Funding for basic education is the responsibility of the government which guarantees the fulfillment of education in the national education system as a human right in the field of education. This research aims to analyze the standard of financing for basic education and the problems related to financing for basic education. This research method is a qualitative method with a literature study approach that will be analyzed descriptively. The results of this study are that in practice there are still problems in financing governance in Indonesia, especially educational autonomy that is not evenly distributed in terms of providing budgets for developing academic qualifications and improving the quality of teachers. Meanwhile, the existing problem is that the government's education programs are currently not running optimally due to differences in basic education financing standards but are not in line with the distribution of educational services which is affected by education funding, especially for regions that are . The implication is that education funding from funding allocations can be given evenly to be regulated and allocated according to its use so that it can run effectively and efficiently so that basic education in Indonesia can progress and develop

Abstract

A person's ability to consume a lot of oxygen during intense activities, such as exercise, is known as VO2max. The purpose of this study was to determine the VO2max level of Modern Ngawi IPSI pencak silat athletes. This type of research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. This research will produce descriptive data, in the form of written data from populations, subjects and observable objects as research indicators. The sample used in this study were 20 athletes. This data collection technique uses tests and measurements of the MFT Multi-Stage Fitness Test ( Bleep Test ). The results of this study have found that there is an athlete's VO2max level. From the results among the 20 IPSI Modern Ngawi pencak silat athletes have good VO2Max abilities. The results show a maximum score of 51.6 and a minimum score of 36.9, with a mean (mean) of 43.5 and a median of 43.1. Therefore, based on the results of research on the average (mean) and median physical condition, the athlete's VO2Max ability is in the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of blended learning learning models on students' critical thinking skills: meta-analysis. This research is a meta-analysis research. The source of the data in this study came from an analysis of 10 national and international journals published from 2015-2023. Data source tracking through Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Wiley, ProQuest and Sage. The inclusion criteria in the study are 1) published articles must be indexed by SINTA and Scopus; 2) Research must be experimental or quasi-experimental; 3) the article has data that can be calculated by the value of the effect size (ES). Data analysis in this research is a quantitative analysis by calculating the effect size value of each article with the help of the JSAP application. The results showed that the average effect size was 0.79 with moderate criteria. These findings indicate that the blended learning learning model has a significant influence on students' critical thinking skills. The blended learning model helps students grow their critical thinking skills when studying.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the level of success of students in writing learning through the implementation of an imaginative writing learning model. This topic was chosen due to the difficulties in developing writing skills among elementary school children and the prevalence of teachers relying on less innovative lecture-based teaching methods. The study focuses on the application and implementation of the imaginative writing learning model in the fifth grade class of Usman bin Affan at SD IT Islamic Center, located on Jl. Selamat Ketaren, Kec. Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, which means that the obtained data will be reported objectively and analyzed descriptively to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the existing facts. The sources of data for this study are teachers and students. The data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. As for data analysis, the research utilizes non-statistical methods, specifically descriptive data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the imaginative writing learning model in the fifth grade class of Usman bin Affan at SD IT Islamic Center, led by Ustadz Muhammad Khaidir, has been successful. The students have demonstrated improvement in their writing skills through the utilization of imaginative techniques employed in the learning process. The students have shown high interest, active engagement, and the ability to produce creative and imaginative writings. This research is expected to contribute to the development of innovative and relevant teaching methods, particularly in the context of writing learning at the elementary school level. The findings of this study can serve as a reference for teachers in designing engaging, creative, and motivating writing lessons, enabling students to enhance their writing skills effectively.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan inovatif di pendidikan tinggi dapat menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang dinamis, relevan, dan adaptif, yang mempersiapkan mahasiswa untuk menghadapi tuntutan dunia yang terus berkembang. Peran kepemimpinan inovatif menjadi sangat strategis untuk melakukan penataan, perubahan, dan pengembangan agar tantangan dan tuntutan pendidikan tinggi dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik, sehingga tujuan pendidikan tinggi dapat tercapai secara efektif dan efisien. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menggali tentang bagaimana peran kepemimpinan inovatif dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Jenis penelitian deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara studi pustaka, dimana data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan cara analisis konten isi. Sumber data penelitian berupa buku-buku, jurnal, dan internet serta sumber lainnya yang relevan. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa peran kepemimpinan inovatif dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pendidikan tinggi antara lain : 1) sebagai penentu arah kebijakan organisasi dalam mencapai visi, misi, tujuan dan strategi pendidikan tinggi; 2) sebagai motivator dalam penataan, perubahan, dan pengembangan organisasi pendidikan tinggi menghadapi tantangan dan tuntutan dunia pendidikan yang terus berkembang; 3) dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, kepemimpinan inovatif sebagai penggerak dalam proses standarisasi mutu, mengelola dan mengarahkan tim serta sumber daya lainnya dalam organisasi.

Abstract

Learning with the Free Learning policy at Al Muttaqin Buper Islamic Boarding School aims to enhance graduates' competencies, both in terms of hard skills and soft skills. This, of course, provides relevance to the needs of the modern era. The experimental learning program, which offers a flexible pathway, is expected to serve as a facility for students to develop their potential according to their talents and passions. This research is intended as a manifestation of the Free Learning Curriculum policy by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Additionally, it addresses the challenges of implementing the curriculum in the era of globalization at Al Muttaqin Buper Islamic Boarding School. The research utilizes a literature and document study approach. Data will be collected through literature sources and document studies, which will be analyzed and presented in the discussion. The analysis of this policy provides opportunities to produce students who can play a role in religion and the nation, contributing to the generation of the nation.

Abstract

The demonstration method is a very effective method, because it helps students to find answers with their own efforts based on facts or correct data by demonstrating both directly and through the use of teaching media that are in accordance with the material presented. Talking about the effectiveness of the demonstration method, the importance of this method can be seen from the way it is applied in learning, one of which is in mathematics learning. Learning mathematics is one of the learning that is often a scary thing for every student. Therefore, to overcome this, a method that suits students during learning is needed. Take this into account. So, the purpose of this study is to see the effectiveness of the demonstration method on student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects. This research is a classroom action study, where this research was carried out on grade II students at SD Negeri 2 Merauke for the 2022/2023 school year. In this study, 24 students were the subjects of the study. By applying two cycles with two meetings each in each cycle, the study also used tests and observations as research data. As a result, there was a very significant improvement in student learning outcomes starting from cycle I to cycle II. Therefore, it is expected that the role of teachers is to advance in the achievements achieved by students, so teachers must be more creative and innovative to create learning that is fun, easy to understand and able to increase student interest so that learning objectives can be achieved.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pelaksanaan peran pengawas sebagai agen pendidikan agama Islam, dan pelaksanaan pengawasan, serta dampak pelaksanaan pengawasan terhadap kinerja guru pendidikan agama Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research). Untuk mengumpulkan data lapangan digunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan analisis data deskriptif kualitatif yang diuraikan secara sistematis, faktual, dan cermat, kemudian data disimpulkan secara induktif. Sampel diambil dengan purposive sampling dan data dianalisis dengan analisis kualitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah 25 pengawas di Kabupaten Kuningan Jawa Barat. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa peran pengawas pendidikan agama Islam di Kabupaten Kuningan sudah baik, meskipun belum optimal. Hubungan antara pelaksanaan supervisi dan pemberian bimbingan kepada guru di sekolah sudah baik tetapi belum optimal. Selain itu, banyak sekolah yang dibina untuk supervisi, dan pelaksanaan supervisi berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja guru pendidikan agama Islam. Dampak yang ditunjukkan antara pelaksanaan supervisi terhadap kinerja guru adalah positif. Karena keterbatasan penelitian ini, diharapkan penelitian lain dapat menggali aspek-aspek yang belum dibahas. Proses pelaksanaan profesionalisme guru berupa evaluasi diri melalui penilaian kinerja guru merupakan temuan baru pengawas PAI Kabupaten Kuningan yang memiliki nilai positif dalam menjalankan tugas pengawasan.
