Abstract

This study examines the allocation and distribution of education funding in Indonesia and evaluates the effectiveness of funded programs in improving student quality and achievement. The data were gathered from official sources and subjected to quantitative and qualitative analysis. The findings indicate that an increase in funding for senior secondary education is associated with an increase in school enrollment and a reduction in dropout rates. The Indonesia Smart Program (PIP) demonstrates that targeted financial assistance can facilitate enhanced academic achievement, particularly among students from disadvantaged backgrounds. However, challenges in program implementation, such as delays in disbursement and complicated administrative processes, reduce its overall effectiveness. The study proposes increasing funding allocation for higher education, strengthening monitoring and evaluation systems, and simplifying administrative processes to ensure that the funds are distributed to the intended recipients. Moreover, the study suggests collaboration with the private sector and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) should be pursued. However, the study's limitations include a lack of longitudinal data and geographical coverage, which may not fully reflect the conditions in Indonesia. Further research is recommended to expand the coverage scope and analyze the long-term impact of education funding programs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teachers' teaching strategies in fostering reading interest among fifth-grade students at SDN Panongan 1. Teachers' strategies in cultivating reading interest are crucial as it significantly impacts students' literacy and academic development. The method employed was descriptive qualitative with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings indicate that teaching strategies involving varied learning approaches, positive teacher-student interactions, and supportive learning environments significantly enhance students' reading interest. Additional supportive factors such as school support and parental involvement also play pivotal roles in the success of these strategies.

Abstract

This study explores the role of Islamic education in fostering transformative leadership and enhancing human resource management (HRM) within the context of madrasah. As educational institutions rooted in Islamic values, madrasahs face unique challenges and opportunities in cultivating leaders who are not only effective managers but also spiritual guides and agents of change. By integrating the principles of Islamic education—such as amanah (trust), ikhlas (sincerity), shura (consultation), and rahmah (compassion)—into leadership practices, madrasahs can build a culture of ethical governance and sustainable development. This paper highlights the importance of aligning HRM strategies with Islamic pedagogical values to nurture competent, committed, and visionary educators and administrators. The findings suggest that transformative leadership in madrasah is most effective when it is grounded in Islamic ethics, supports teacher development, encourages participatory decision-making, and fosters a holistic educational environment. The study contributes to the discourse on leadership in Islamic educational institutions and provides a framework for integrating faith-based values into contemporary HRM and leadership practices.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing reading materials based on local Assamaturu wisdom from Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province using the Heyzine Flipbooks application. Specifically, the research objective is to develop a prototype of reading material based on local Assamaturu wisdom using the Heyzine Flipbooks application and test the validity, practicality and effectiveness of the reading material developed. The development model used in this research is the 4-D development model (four D models). The stages of the 4-D model include defining, designing, developing and disseminating. Validity analysis was carried out by two expert experts. The validation results show that the research instrument is declared valid with a recapitulation value of 3.7. Furthermore, the results of the practicality analysis which came from questionnaire responses from teachers and students showed that reading materials based on local Assamaturu wisdom assisted by the Heyzine Flipbooks application were declared very practical with a presentation score of 92%. Effectiveness analysis based on reading comprehension test results shows that the average student score is 87 with a completeness presentation of 90%. This value is in the very good category. Thus, it can be concluded that the reading materials developed based on local Assamaturu wisdom with the help of the Heyzine Flipbooks application can be used to improve the reading comprehension skills of class IV students in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and optimize effective strategies in Indonesian language learning, as well as to face challenges that often arise in the context of language education in Indonesia. The methods used were literature analysis and field studies, which involved direct observation and interviews with language teachers and students in several primary and secondary schools. The results of the study show that a learning approach that integrates technology and social interaction significantly improves students' language skills. In addition, the main challenges faced include limited facilities, lack of effective teacher training, and wide local dialect variability. Based on these findings, the study recommends several strategies that can be adopted by policymakers and education practitioners to improve the effectiveness of Indonesian language learning, including the development of more inclusive digital resources and more comprehensive teacher training programs. This research contributes to a better understanding of the dynamics of language education in Indonesia and offers practical guidance to improve the language acquisition process.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat: 1) pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V Gugus 8 Kecamatan Biringkanaya; 2) pengaruh model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V Gugus 8 Kecamatan Biringkanaya; dan 3) Perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas V Gugus 8 Kecamatan Biringkanaya yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest-postest control group design. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Bulurokeng untuk kelas PBL dan SDN Bulurokeng I pada kelas NHT. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes hasil belajar untuk mengukur Hasil belajar siswa dan dokumentasi. Tehnik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian 1) Hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL berdasarkan hasil analisis deskriptif, diperoleh hasil bahwa hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan rata-rata nilai 81,29; 2) Hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model NHT berdasarkan hasil analisis Deskriptif, diperoleh hasil bahwa hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan rata-rata nilai 79,03; 3) Perbandingan hasil belajar PBL dan NHT dari uji hipotesis bahwa nilai signifikansi 0,282 > 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran PBL dengan model NHT ditinjau dari hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V Gugus 8 Kecamatan Biringkanaya

Abstract

Kecanduan internet atau internet Addiction Disorde (IAD) telah menjadi permasalahan yang kerap dialami remaja saat ini. Kecanduan internet tersebut tentunya memberikan dampak negatif bagi para siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kecanduan internet dengan kesehatan mental siswa. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Tritech Medan, sampel penelitian berjumlah 270 orang diambil dengan teknik ramdom sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan angket tentang kecanduan internet dan kesehatan mental. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripsi data dan pengujian hipotesis dengan rumus product moment correlations. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara kecanduan internet dengan kesehatan mental siswa. Artinya jika kecanduan internet siswa meningkat maka kesehatan mental siswa menurun. Sebaliknya, jika kecanduan internet siswa menurun maka kesehatan mental siswa meningkat. Besarnya hubungan antara kedua variabel adalah sebasar -0,170 atau 17,00% pada signifikansi 0,005 < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecanduan internet memiliki hubungan yang negatif dengan kesehatan mental siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak Stress akadmeik menjadi permasalahan yang ekrap dialami para siswa dewasa ini, terutama siswa yang memiliki padat aktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk emgetahu hubungan religiusitas dengan stres akademik. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif jenis korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa/peserta didik di Islamic Centre. Sampel diambil secara random berjumlah 287 orang. Instrumen penelitian adalah angket tentang religiusitas dan stres akademik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripsi data dan uji hipotesis dengan uji korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif antara religiusitas dengan stres akademik. Artinya, jika skor religiusitas meningkat maka skor stres akademik menurun, sebaliknya jika skor religiusitas menurun maka skor stres akademik meningkat. Melalui hasil penelitian tersebut, dipeoleh hubungan antar kedua variabel sebesar -0,341 pada signifikansi 0,003 < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa religiusitas degan stress akademik memiliki hubungan yang negatif. Kata Kunci: hubungan, religiusitas, stress akademik Abstract Academic stress is a problem often experienced by students today, especially students who have busy activities. This research aims to determine the relationship between religiosity and academic stress. The research approach uses a quantitative correlational type. The population of this study were all students at the Islamic Center. Samples taken randomly amounted to 287 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire about religiosity and academic stress. The data analysis technique uses data description and hypothesis testing with the product moment correlation test. The research results show that there is a negative relationship between religiosity and academic stress. This means that if the religiosity score increases, the academic stress score decreases, conversely, if the religiosity score decreases, the academic stress score increases. Through the results of this research, the relationship between the two variables was obtained at -0.341 at a significance of 0.003 <0.05. It can be concluded that religiosity and academic stress have a negative relationship. Keywords: relationships, religiosity, academic stress

Abstract

Abstrak Addiction to online games is a problem in the world of education which can have various negative impacts on students, both physical, psychological and social health, as well as learning activities and even a decline in academic achievement. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the cognitive behavioral counseling approach in alleviating online game addiction experienced by students. The research method uses a quantitative comparative type with a 2 x 2 factorial quasi-experimental design. Samples were taken using a purposive technique of 10 people in the experimental group and 10 people in the control group. The research instrument used an online game addiction scale which was distributed to the sample during the pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique uses data description and hypothesis testing with the ANACOVA formula. The research results showed that there was a difference in students' online game addiction scores during the pretest and during the posttest with an F value of 417.217, and a mean square of 544.700 with a significance of 0.000. It can be concluded that counseling services using the Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach are effective in reducing online game addiction in students at Tritech Vocational School, Medan. Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi pemberantasan buta huruf Al-Quran dan penanaman nilai-nilai keislaman di Lapas Kesambi Cirebon dan menjelaskan berbagai kendala serta solusi yang dihadapi oleh pengelola dan warga binaan. Penelitian dilakukan di Lapas Kesambi Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Adapun cara menentukan informan digunakan teknik purposive dan key respondence sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian, dengan informan kuncinya adalah peneliti sendiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa banyak strategi yang dilakukan pihak lapas, diantaranya 1) mengelompokkan peserta sesuai tingkat kemampuan membaca al-Quran, 2) menggunakan metode Iqra’ dan Tsaqifah, 3) Menggunakan buku rangkuman hukum tajwid Al-Qur'an dan Matan al-jazariyah sebagai sumber belajar. 4) Merekrut tenaga pengajar dari warga binaaan yang telah mahir membaca al-Quran dan mendatangkan guru dari luar lapas dengan cara melakukan kerjasama 5). Strategi yang dilakukan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai keislaman, yaitu mengadakan 1) kegiatan kajian keislaman untuk warga binaan Muslim, rutin setiap pekan, 2) Kajian keislaman dasar khusus bagi warga binaan yang baru masuk lapas, 2 kali sepekan, 3) Kajian tanyab jawab seputar keislaman bagi warga binaan yang terdaftar sebagai santri tetap setiap pekan, 4) Zikir bersama dan perenungan setiap pekan, 5) Sholawatan bersama setiap hari setelah sholat ashar, dan 6) Menghidupkan syi'ar-syi'ar keislaman di hari-hari besar Islam. Banyak kendala yang dihadapi lapas dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ini diantaranya: semangat belajar warga binaan yang tidak stabil, tenaga pengajar yang terbatas, usia warga binaan yang tidak muda, dan lain lain. Solusi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut adalah memberi motivasi dengan beragam cara. Kata Kunci: Pemberantasan Buta Huruf Al-Quran, Penanaman nilai-nilai Keislaman, Lapas Kesambi. Abstract This research aims to describe strategies for eradicating Koran illiteracy and instilling Islamic values ​​in Kesambi Cirebon Prison and explaining the various obstacles and solutions faced by managers and inmates. The research was conducted at Kesambi Cirebon Prison. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection using observation, interviews and documentation studies. The way to determine informants uses purposive and key respondent techniques in accordance with the research objectives, with the key informant being the researcher himself. The results of the research show that there are many strategies carried out by the prison, including 1) grouping participants according to their level of ability to read the Koran, 2) using the Iqra' and Tsaqifah methods, 3) Using books summarizing the law of recitation of the Al-Qur'an and Matan al-jazariyah as a learning resource. 4) Recruit teaching staff from inmates who are already proficient in reading the Koran and bring in teachers from outside the prison by collaborating 5). The strategy used to instill Islamic values, namely holding 1) Islamic study activities for Muslim inmates, routinely every week, 2) Basic Islamic studies specifically for inmates who have just entered prison, 2 times a week, 3) Question and answer studies regarding Islamic teachings for inmates who are registered as permanent students every week, 4) Dhikr together and reflection every week, 5) Prayers together every day after the Asr prayer, and 6) Encouraging Islamic syi'ar on major Islamic holidays. There are many obstacles faced by prisons in carrying out this activity, including: unstable enthusiasm for learning among inmates, limited teaching staff, the age of inmates who are not young, and so on.
