Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is first published in March 2017 and covers much research in all levels of education (primary, secondary, and higher education). Beginning from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2017), all articles will be published in the English version and Indonesia version. The publication frequency is twice a year in March and October. Abstract

This study aims to identify the synergy between Al-Qur'an Hadith and Akidah Akhlak teachers in fostering students' spirituality at Mutiara Aulia Islamic Senior High School. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study consist of data collection (data reduction), data presentation (display), and drawing conclusions (verification). Based on the research results obtained from interviews and observations, the synergy between Al-Qur'an Hadith and Akidah Akhlak teachers in fostering students' spirituality at Mutiara Aulia Islamic Senior High School has been running well. This can be seen from the religious activity program that has been programmed and runs smoothly, although there are still some gaps between the two teachers and some activity facilities that have not been met. Religious activities carried out at Mutiara Aulia Islamic Senior High School such as congregational prayer, Al-Qur'an recitation and routine studies carried out into internalize Islamic values in everyday life have had a positive impact on students.

Abstract

The process of developing the talent of an athlete needs to be carried out from an early age. Therefore, coaches are required to design various training modification media according to age classification. One of them is to utilize technology media based on 3D digital animation video. This research aims to determine the validity and reliability values of the training media and the effectiveness of the training program media named animals, based on 3D digital animation, to improve free throw shooting in amateur class athletes. The population in this study consists of 40 amateur athletes, and the sampling method used is Total Sampling, resulting in a sample size of 40 athletes. In addition, this study involved 7 validators from disciplines that support this research. Before the data was analyzed, preliminary tests were conducted for analysis requirements, namely normality tests and homogeneity tests. Data analysis was performed using t-tests for paired data comparisons using SPSS version 26. The results of this study show that the validity value is 0.864 and the reliability is 0.980 > 0.05. This indicates that the media product for practicing animal names based on 3D digital animation is valid and reliable. In addition, the product's results are effective after being implemented to amateur class athletes, where the effectiveness test using the Paired Sample T-Test found a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000. Based on these research results, it can be concluded that the 3D digital animation-based training media product shows positive, valid, and reliable results. Therefore, this product becomes a solution for coaches in providing training, especially for amateur athletes in executing Free Throw shooting techniques in basketball

Abstract

This research is based on the Relocation of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) Residences in Madani Housing in Lubuk Jering Village, Air Hitam District, Sarolangun Regency. This research was conducted to analyze: 1) Characteristics of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Lubuk Jering Village, Air Hitam District, 2) Inhibiting Factors for Relocation of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Madani Housing in Lubuk Jering Village, Air Hitam District, 3) The Role of the Government towards Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Lubuk Jering Village. The type of research used is qualitative. This research was conducted in Lubuk Jering Village, Air Hitam District, Sarolangun Regency. Research informants used the Snowball Sampling technique, with Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) community leaders as key informants and Village Officials as supporting informants. Data collection and analysis were carried out using NVivo software version 15. The results of the study show: 1) The characteristics of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Lubuk Jering Village are that the average livelihood is food gathering. The clothing of the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) for men uses a loincloth (koteka) while women wear cloth (sandang). Most of the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) have beliefs in spirits who speak Malay and kubu. 2) Factors inhibiting the relocation of the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Lubuk Jering Village are influenced by the cultural tradition of melangun (a culture of leaving a residence temporarily after a family member dies), in addition to their dependence on the forest making it difficult for them to settle in one place. 3) The role of the government towards the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) in Lubuk Jering Village provides free housing facilities and health insurance for the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD). However, these efforts have not been optimal because they are not accompanied by the provision of agricultural land. Even though the Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) community really hopes for agricultural land as their main source of livelihood.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of using web-based Kahoot media on the learning outcomes of Grade X students at MAN Sidrap. Kahoot is a game-based learning application designed to enhance student engagement through interactive online quizzes. This research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The research sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class using Kahoot media and the control class using conventional teaching methods. The instrument used was a learning outcomes test. The analysis results showed that the average learning outcome of students in the experimental class was 75.29, while the control class had an average of 61.55. This difference indicates that the use of Kahoot media had a positive and significant effect on improving student learning outcomes. Kahoot was proven to create a more engaging, interactive, and competitive learning environment, thereby increasing student motivation and understanding of the material.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in Informatics learning for seventh and eighth grade students at the UPT SMP Negeri 1 BPR Ranau Tengah. CRT is a pedagogical approach that considers students' cultural backgrounds as an important factor in the learning process. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the application of CRT can increase student engagement, strengthen cultural identity, and encourage improved learning outcomes. Teachers integrate local culture into learning projects, utilize community-based technology, and implement differentiated approaches based on student backgrounds. This approach creates a more inclusive and participatory classroom environment; previously passive students become more confident because the material feels relevant to their lives. Teachers also become more responsive to students' diverse needs and potential, enabling them to design adaptive and contextual learning activities. Informatics learning serves not only as a means of transferring technological knowledge but also as a platform for building cultural awareness, collaborative skills, and critical thinking skills. These findings underscore the importance of integrating local values and cultural wisdom in 21st-century learning. Therefore, support from school principals, communities, and educational stakeholders is needed for the sustainable development of culture-based learning practices.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Kahoot media on the geography learning outcomes of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 4 Sidenreng Rappang. Kahoot is a technology-based learning platform that can enhance student engagement and motivation through interactive quizzes. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes: the experimental class, which used Kahoot media, and the control class, which used conventional learning methods. The instrument used was a multiple-choice learning outcome test administered before and after the treatment. The data analysis results showed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and those in the control class. The average post-test scores of students in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class. This indicates that the use of Kahoot media is effective in improving students' geography learning outcomes. Therefore, Kahoot can be used as an engaging and interactive alternative learning media to support the teaching and learning process in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Nearpod media in improving the Geography learning outcomes of Grade XI Social Science students at SMA Negeri 4 Sidrap. The main issue addressed is the low student motivation and participation due to monotonous teaching methods. This research employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 19 students as the sample. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires, then analyzed using the mean formula. The results showed an increase in the average score from 60.5 (pre-test) to 85 (post-test). The majority of students achieved scores above the minimum passing grade (KKM) and demonstrated improvements in task completion punctuality. In conclusion, Nearpod media is effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes, comprehension, and discipline.

Abstract

Canva on the Civics (PPKn) learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at MTs Negeri 1 Sidenreng Rappang. This research employed a quantitative approach with a One-Shot Case Study design, a type of quasi-experimental research. The variables in this study consisted of Book Creator assisted by Canva as the independent variable and Civics learning outcomes as the dependent variable. The sample comprised 28 seventh-grade students. Data were collected through a test administered at the end of the lesson. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Wilcoxon Non-Parametric test with SPSS 25.0. The results showed that after the treatment, the students’ scores ranged from 73.33 to 96.67, with an average score of 88.92. Based on the analysis, the working hypothesis (H1) was accepted, and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, indicating a significant effect of using the Book Creator application assisted by Canva on Civics learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that digital learning media based on Book Creator and Canva can positively improve students’ understanding and learning outcomes in Civics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini juga bertujuan merumuskan strategi kolaboratif yang melibatkan Islamic International School Pesantren Sabilil Muttaqien, pemerintah, dan masyarakat untuk menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan berkelanjutan yang tetap berlandaskan nilai-nilai keislaman.Penelitian mengenai isu-isu global dalam transformasi dan inovasi pendidikan di Islamic International School Pesantren Sabilil Muttaqien menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pendekatan ini dipilih untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam mengenai fenomena yang terjadi serta menganalisis bagaimana lembaga ini merespons isu-isu global yang berdampak pada sistem pendidikan mereka. Inovasi dan transformasi pendidikan di Islamic International School Pesantren Sabilil Muttaqien (IIS PSM) berfokus pada integrasi kurikulum Islam dengan kurikulum nasional dan internasional, penggunaan metode pembelajaran aktif, serta pengembangan karakter dan keterampilan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Program unggulan seperti tahfidz Quran, sains, robotika, kepemimpinan, dan kewirausahaan dirancang untuk meningkatkan daya saing global siswa. Selain itu, IIS PSM mendukung difusi pengetahuan melalui workshop, seminar, publikasi ilmiah, dan kolaborasi dengan universitas serta lembaga penelitian. Dengan pendekatan yang relevan dan adaptif, IIS PSM berupaya menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang siap menghadapi tuntutan global tanpa meninggalkan nilai-nilai lokal.

Abstract

This study focuses on optimizing the use of Instagram social media to increase sales at Aliya Cell, a business engaged in the sale of mobile phones, accessories, prepaid credit, and digital payment services in Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Although social media has great potential as a marketing tool, Aliya Cell faces several challenges such as a lack of engaging content, inconsistent posting frequency, and minimal use of data for marketing strategies. The purpose of this research is to determine effective strategies for utilizing social media to boost sales and to identify existing obstacles. The type and design of the research used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews, documentation, and observation. This study is expected to provide practical recommendations for Aliya Cell in enhancing brand visibility, customer interaction, and marketing efficiency through Instagram.
