Abstract

This study aims to describe the readiness level of elementary school teachers in integrating the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach into thematic learning. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method with 15 elementary school teachers in Bekasi Regency who had attended STEAM-related training or teaching experience. The instrument used was a Likert-scale questionnaire covering three aspects of readiness: knowledge, attitude, and skills. The results showed that most teachers were categorized as ready in knowledge and attitude, but only moderately ready in skills, particularly in designing and implementing STEAM-based project learning. Factors influencing teacher readiness include training experience, school facilities, and access to digital learning resources. The study recommends continuous professional development and mentoring programs to enhance teachers’ capacity in implementing STEAM effectively within thematic learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana persepsi guru sekolah dasar terhadap pelaksanaan pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka. Pembelajaran berbasis STEAM dipandang penting karena dapat menumbuhkan kreativitas, kemampuan berpikir kritis, serta kerja sama di antara peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket survei dengan skala Likert empat poin, data diperoleh melalui menyebar survei secara online melalui google from yang dirancang untuk menilai persepsi guru pada aspek pemahaman konsep STEAM, kesiapan pelaksanaan, dukungan sarana dan prasarana, serta manfaat pembelajaran bagi siswa. Responden penelitian terdiri atas guru-guru sekolah dasar dari berbagai sekolah yang telah mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru memiliki pandangan positif terhadap pembelajaran STEAM, terutama dalam hal peningkatan kreativitas siswa dan kesesuaian dengan tuntutan keterampilan abad ke-21. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa kendala seperti keterbatasan fasilitas, kurangnya pelatihan bagi guru, serta tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan antar bidang pelajaran. Hasil pembahasan menekankan bahwa dukungan kelembagaan dan peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru berperan penting dalam keberhasilan penerapan STEAM. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan adanya program pelatihan berkelanjutan, penyediaan sarana pendukung, serta pengembangan panduan praktis agar implementasi pembelajaran STEAM di sekolah dasar dapat berjalan lebih optimal dan selaras dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Society generally believes that males always have superior abilities in mathematics than females. This study aims to test this gender theory through a comparative analysis of the Mathematics Mid-Term Exam scores of 4th and 5th grade students in elementary school. This quantitative study involved 51 students divided into 2 groups of educational levels. The obtained Mid-Term Exam data were then processed using the Independent Sample T-Test and Mann-Whitney U with the help of SPSS software. The results of the data analysis showed that in grades 4 and 5 there was no significant difference in Mathematics Mid-Term Exam scores between genders with Sig. values ​​of 0.085 and 0.525. This finding reaffirms that there is no difference in students' mathematical cognitive abilities caused by gender differences. This study has broken many existing stereotype theories and promoted a more inclusive education system. This study also shows that students at the elementary school level can have an incremental perspective to maintain equal achievement at the educational level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman pendidikan karakter semangat kebangsaan di SDN Renda 1 Kecamatan Belo. Bentuk penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melaluiwawancara, observasi, dan studidokumentasi. Data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Implementasi pendidikan karakter nilai semangat kebangsaan di SDN Renda 1 Kecamatan Belo dilakukan melalui integrasi dalam proses pembelajaran, dalam aspek pembelajaran, guru melakukan pengintegrasian nilai karakter semangat kebangsaan ke dalam perencanaan pembelajaran, mata pelajaran, kegiatan kokurikuler, dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Serta pembiasaan menyanyikan lagu wajib nasional untuk penanaman karakter semangat kebangsaan dilakukan kegiatan rutin.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) terhadap model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Kegiatan yang dilakukan pada adalah wawancara dan observasi yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan guru terhadap model pembelajaran PjBL. Subjek adalah guru di Sekolah Dasar sebanyak 15 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar pengamatan dan daftar pertanyaan. Hasil analisis digunakan untuk mengetahui pandangan guru terhadap model pembelajaran PjBL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 11 dari 15 guru belum melaksanakan model pembelajaran PjBL. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru masih merasa kesulitan dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran PjBL.
