Abstract

Quality management in Islamic education is a response to the need for improved institutional quality, adapting to societal changes and the evolving times. This research investigates the historical development of quality management concepts in Islamic education, from classical periods to the modern era, using a historical-qualitative library research approach that draws from primary and secondary sources. Findings reveal that since ancient times, quality has been ingrained in Islamic values through the principles of ihsan, itqan, and amanah, evident in madrasah and pesantren systems. In contemporary times, quality management, including approaches like Total Quality Management (TQM), has been integrated with Islamic spiritual values, leading some Islamic educational institutions to successfully implement national and international quality standards to boost competitiveness. This demonstrates that effective quality management hinges not just on administrative systems but also on deeply internalizing Islamic values across all educational facets.

Abstract

The post-truth era and information overload have created an epistemological crisis in education, particularly in shaping the moral character of Muslim youth. The abundance of unfiltered information blurs the line between truth and opinion, thereby challenging the effectiveness of conventional Islamic moral curricula. This article proposes a new formulation in the form of a digital moral curriculum based on neuro-Islamic principles, integrating neuroscience, Islamic epistemology, and tarbiyah values within a transdisciplinary framework. This research employs a critical library research method to formulate the philosophical and pedagogical foundations of an Islamic moral curriculum that is adaptive to the digital context. The findings indicate that a brain-based Islamic ethics learning approach, combined with tarbiyah principles such as sincerity (ikhlas), trustworthiness (amanah), and responsibility, can shape a curriculum structure that is responsive to ethical challenges in the digital age. The implications of this curriculum are expected to provide a more contextual, humanistic, and scientifically grounded design for Islamic moral education.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between teacher creativity and student academic achievement at SDN Pemurus Dalam 5 Banjarmasin. Employing a quantitative approach, the research involved 20 students from class VB as the sample, drawn from a total population of 400 students. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, and analyzed using the Pearson product-moment correlation method. The results indicate that the level of teacher creativity falls within the moderate category, with an average score of 52.7. Despite this, teacher creativity was found to have a significant positive contribution to students’ learning outcomes. The statistical analysis revealed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.796, which exceeds the critical values of r_table = 0.444 at the 5% significance level and r_table = 0.561 at the 1% significance level. Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ), stating that there is a relationship between teacher creativity and student academic achievement, is accepted. This study presents a novel contribution by empirically demonstrating a strong correlation between teacher creativity and student achievement at the elementary level a domain that has received limited attention in correlation-based quantitative research, especially in public schools. The findings emphasize the critical role of creative pedagogical practices in enhancing student learning performance, particularly in lower grade classrooms where instructional dynamics often rely heavily on teacher initiative. .

Abstract

Jurnal ini mengkaji penerapan skala Likert dalam penelitian berbasis survei di berbagai bidang seperti ilmu sosial, pendidikan, dan psikologi. Skala Likert memberikan responden otonomi dalam mengevaluasi pertanyaan, sehingga pemilihan skala menjadi krusial untuk validitas data. Namun, banyak peneliti menghadapi tantangan seperti bias respons dan penyalahgunaan jenis skala, yang dapat memengaruhi integritas data. Studi ini mengidentifikasi kesenjangan dalam metodologi yang mapan untuk memilih skala yang paling sesuai, dan merekomendasikan pengembangan pedoman standar untuk meningkatkan efikasi dan relevansi penelitian. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi bahwa pemilihan skala yang sistematis dapat meningkatkan ketelitian metodologis dan memberikan wawasan yang lebih jelas tentang pertanyaan penelitian. Penelitian ini juga menyoroti efektivitas penggunaan video singkat di media sosial seperti YouTube Shorts, TikTok, dan Instagram Reels sebagai media pembelajaran bahasa Jepang, serta menganalisis pengaruh kualitas layanan pendidikan dan kinerja dosen terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas mahasiswa di universitas Islam di Indonesia. Selain itu, artikel ini membahas pentingnya meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman pelajar terhadap bidang STEM melalui program interaktif yang melibatkan tenaga surya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of digital advertising campaigns in improving the image of Islamic educational institutions at MI Bahrul Ulum, Watupanjang Village, Krucil District. The research location was chosen because of its characteristics as a rural area with limited access to technology but with untapped potential for digital marketing development. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, involving data collection through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. Research informants consisted of madrasah administrators, teachers, parents, and the surrounding community. The results showed that the digital advertising campaign conducted through social media such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook successfully expanded the reach of information and increased public awareness of the existence and advantages of MI Bahrul Ulum. Content that emphasized Islamic values and modern learning was able to attract interest and build audience trust. However, limitations in human resources for content management and unstable internet access remain major challenges in maximizing the effectiveness of digital campaigns. In conclusion, digital advertising campaigns play a crucial role in strengthening MI Bahrul Ulum's image as a credible and innovative Islamic educational institution. Enhancing the capacity of administrators and improving technological infrastructure are essential for optimizing future digital marketing strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the optimization of digital media as a means of promoting education within public schools, specifically at SD Negeri Kedawung II Kuripan Probolinggo. In today’s digital era, social media and other digital platforms have become strategic tools for building the image and communication of educational institutions to the wider public. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, involving data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the use of digital media at SD Negeri Kedawung II has enhanced the school’s visibility, strengthened communication with parents, and attracted public interest in the educational programs offered. The main challenges lie in the limited human resources and insufficient technological proficiency, which still need to be improved. Nevertheless, digital media has proven effective in strengthening the branding of public schools when managed consistently and professionally. This study recommends the establishment of a school digital promotion team, specialized training for content managers, and policy support from the local Department of Education.

Abstract

This study focuses on the transformation of Islamic da'wah values into brand loyalty strategies within Islamic educational institutions based on modern pesantren. The main objective is to examine how core da'wah values such as shiddiq (honesty), amanah (responsibility), tabligh (value transmission), and ukhuwah islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood) are internalized into the institutional system and communication strategies of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Sullamul Hidayah in Probolinggo. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings reveal that da'wah values are concretely integrated into managerial and institutional communication practices, fostering emotional and spiritual loyalty among students and parents. This strategy aligns with a value-based marketing approach, in which loyalty is built not only on the technical quality of educational services but also on the alignment of shared values perceived by education consumers. The study contributes to Islamic educational management theory by introducing the concept of da'wah-based brand loyalty. Practically, it implies that Islamic educational institutions should adopt da'wah values as the foundation for their policies and service strategies to build long-term trust and attachment with the community.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of digital technology, specifically social media, on consumer decision-making in the context of Islamic education at a private school in Probolinggo, Indonesia. As access to information increasingly shifts to digital platforms, it is essential to understand how this change influences the decisions of parents and students when selecting an Islamic educational institution. Social media platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook, have become key tools for schools to engage with prospective students and their families. However, the depth and accuracy of the information provided through these platforms play a crucial role in the decision-making process. Using a qualitative approach and case study methodology, the research collected data through in-depth interviews and observations of the school’s social media presence. The findings reveal that social media significantly influences decision-making by providing easy access to information about school activities, values, and student life. While social media is effective in attracting initial interest, many parents and students still seek more detailed information, particularly about academic achievements and school facilities, before finalizing their decision. The study concludes that while social media is a valuable tool for engagement, it must be complemented by additional communication channels, such as school visits or comprehensive websites, to offer a fuller understanding of the institution. This research provides insights into how schools can enhance their digital presence to facilitate more informed decision-making

Abstract

The rapid growth of digitalization presents both challenges and opportunities for multicultural societies in maintaining social harmony. Yogyakarta, renowned for its cultural and religious diversity, continues to uphold its identity as an inclusive and tolerant city. This study aims to examine how Yogyakarta’s multicultural communities preserve values of tolerance amid the complexities of the digital era. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, the findings reveal that the city’s tolerant social character is shaped by deeply rooted local cultural values, the strengthening of multicultural education, and the strategic role of Islamic religious education in fostering mutual respect for differences. Furthermore, strong digital literacy plays a crucial role in mitigating misinformation and facilitating constructive dialogue in online spaces. Collaboration among educators, religious leaders, families, and government policy further reinforces the community’s social resilience. These findings underscore that sustaining tolerance in the digital era requires the integration of local wisdom, contextualized education, and wise use of technology. Hence, cross-sectoral synergy emerges as a key strategy in building sustainable social cohesion amid pluralism and societal transformation

Abstract

The waste crisis does not only occur because it is caused by fossils, but with the development of civilization, environmental damage is also influenced by human lifestyles related to the internet. Human life, which cannot be separated from the internet, turns out to have an influence on the environment. Digital waste is often ignored by society due to the lack of ecological literacy. Through this research, it is hoped that society will have comprehensive ecotheological awareness so that they can take wise actions in interacting with the internet. The method used uses qualitative exploration. This method is used to explore and discover new environmental problems that the general public is not aware of. This research shows that ecotheological awareness in the digital space today needs to remember the problem of digital waste which many people are not aware of. Efforts to transform awareness into an alternative preventive effort that can prevent further energy crises.
