Jurnal Mappesona: is a scientific journal that publishes research articles, original research reports, and reviews in the field of Islamic Education Management. This journal is intended for education practitioners, lecturers, education policymakers, and researchers interested in innovation and development in Islamic educational institution management, effective resource management, the application of technology in educational administration, and strengthening educational leadership with a global perspective. All submitted manuscripts undergo a blind peer review process by experts from various universities, with plagiarism checks using Turnitin and a maximum similarity rate of 20%. The journal is published three times a year (February, June, October) and is open access, meaning that all articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide. In its publication process, the Jurnal Mappesona prioritizes publication ethics in accordance with COPE guidelines, which include the responsibilities of authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers to maintain scientific integrity. Submitted articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in another journal. Article acceptance decisions are made objectively based on contribution, novelty, relevance, and presentation quality. Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) is one of the Indonesian government's strategic initiatives to improve the nutritional status of school-age children, reduce stunting, and support the development of high-quality human resources. The successful implementation of this program depends on effective communication, adequate resources, positive implementer commitment, and an appropriate bureaucratic structure. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program in schools located in Palakka District, Bone Regency, and to identify the factors that influence its implementation. This research employed a qualitative field research design using a management approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the Head of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) and other relevant informants. The collected data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the MBG program has generally been carried out effectively through coordination between the SPPG and schools in the distribution of nutritious meals. The implementation process reflects the four dimensions of Edward III's policy implementation model, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited facilities and infrastructure, distribution constraints, logistical management, and the need to strengthen coordination among stakeholders. Therefore, improving institutional capacity, distribution management, and inter-agency collaboration is essential to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of the MBG program in supporting students' nutritional needs and educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of teacher training and its contribution to improving teaching professionalism at SMPN 8 Libureng, Bone Regency. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with a subject teacher who actively participated in various teacher training programs, including face-to-face training, professional community-based training, and independent digital training. The data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that teacher training at SMPN 8 Libureng is conducted in diverse and sustainable forms and is generally relevant to classroom needs. The training programs contribute positively to improving teachers’ pedagogical competence, teaching motivation, and professionalism. Teachers experienced significant changes in teaching practices, particularly the shift toward student-centered learning, the use of digital media, and the implementation of interactive and collaborative learning strategies. Furthermore, the training programs also had a positive impact on students’ learning outcomes, as reflected in increased motivation, participation, and academic achievement. However, the limited duration of training remains a challenge, highlighting the need for continuous training and post-training mentoring. Overall, teacher training plays a strategic role in enhancing teaching quality and educational outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi fungsi manajemen laboratorium dalam mendukung efektivitas operasional laboratorium keperawatan di SMKK Husada Pratama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala laboratorium, guru, dan staf laboratorium, sedangkan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi manajemen, termasuk perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penempatan staf, motivasi, dan pengendalian, telah diimplementasikan secara sistematis dalam kegiatan pembelajaran praktik. Perencanaan tercermin dalam penjadwalan, pengadaan fasilitas, dan desain kegiatan praktik. Pengorganisasian ditunjukkan melalui struktur organisasi dan pembagian tugas yang jelas. Penempatan staf adalah proses penempatan sumber daya manusia sesuai dengan kompetensinya. Motivasi adalah mengarahkan perilaku manusia menuju tujuan, sedangkan pengendalian dilakukan melalui pengawasan langsung dan evaluasi kinerja mahasiswa. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa kendala, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas dan infrastruktur, serta rendahnya disiplin mahasiswa dalam menggunakan peralatan laboratorium. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan optimasi manajemen laboratorium, penguatan fungsi pengendalian, dan peningkatan disiplin mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan efektivitas operasional secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged Islamic educational institutions, including Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), to undergo a transformation in information management through digital media. The problem addressed in this study is how the implementation of Islamic education management values is executed in the management of information systems at Darussalam Modern Islamic Boarding School Kepahiang, particularly regarding management mechanisms, the application of Islamic values, supervision, and their impact on communication and institutional image. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic education management values in information system management as an effort to enhance the effectiveness of delivering Islamic-valued information, transparency, and the strengthening of the school’s image in the community. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of school leaders, information system managers, and parties involved in managing the school's digital publications. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with data validity tested using triangulation techniques. The results show that information system management at Darussalam Modern Islamic Boarding School Kepahiang is carried out through the stages of planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. The implementation of Islamic education management values is reflected in the application of values such as trustworthiness (amanah), deliberation (musyawarah), responsibility, discipline, professionalism, and Islamic communication ethics in managing digital information. The information system functions not only as a publication medium for school activities but also as a vehicle for digital da'wah (proselytizing), community communication, and establishing a positive institutional image. The novelty of this research lies in the development of an information system management model for Islamic boarding schools that integrates modern management functions with Islamic values, ensuring that digital media management is oriented not only toward information effectiveness but also toward moral, ethical, and Islamic responsibility aspects.
