Jurnal Mappesona: is a scientific journal that publishes research articles, original research reports, and reviews in the field of Islamic Education Management. This journal is intended for education practitioners, lecturers, education policymakers, and researchers interested in innovation and development in Islamic educational institution management, effective resource management, the application of technology in educational administration, and strengthening educational leadership with a global perspective. All submitted manuscripts undergo a blind peer review process by experts from various universities, with plagiarism checks using Turnitin and a maximum similarity rate of 20%. The journal is published three times a year (February, June, October) and is open access, meaning that all articles are freely accessible to readers worldwide. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the application of management information systems in improving the quality of library services at SMAN 6 Bone. The type of research used is qualitative research. Then it is explained descriptively qualitatively. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the SLIMS application in improving the quality of library services at SMAN 6 Bone is good which can be measured using the PIECES framework which contains six components. First, performance to see to what extent and how reliable an information system is in processing or processing data. Second, the information produced by the system must really have useful value for decision making. Third, economics to see the extent to which the library information system currently being used is commensurate with the results obtained. Fourth, control, namely the aspect of knowing how to control and secure a system. Fifth, efficiency is a reference or guideline used in analyzing and evaluating a system in terms of its efficiency. Sixth, the company's service progress is determined by this variable whether the users are interested and satisfied with the service they have.

Abstract

The Tricenter of Education is three educational centers that gradually and integrally carry out an educational responsibility for children. The three education centers in question include education in the family environment, education in the school environment and education in the community environment. The three persons in charge of education are required to cooperate with each other comprehensively. The family environment, which is the first environment and is considered as the foundation of children's education, which is also the beginning of the education that will be pursued next, also plays a very important role in the formation of personality. The school environment is the second environment faced by children. Education in the school environment has a basis, objectives, content, methods and other requirements that are systematically arranged in the form of a curriculum. Therefore, schools are considered as laying the foundation of scientific knowledge. Meanwhile, in the community environment, children will realize a number of educational and teaching theories that have been taught in educational institutions before. Because after all, children will actualize and involve themselves in the community environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of student management in an effort to improve the quality of education at MIN 1 Bandung City based on the Education Unit Accreditation Instrument (IASP) in 2022. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that MIN 1 Bandung City has implemented student management in accordance with IASP 2022 standards, but there are still several aspects that need to be improved to achieve optimal education quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui stratregi guru dalam mengembangkan bakat siswa tunarungu di SLBN 1 Bone . Adapun hasil penelitian ini terkait strategi guru dalam mengembangkan bakat siswa tunarugu adalah pertama, identifikasi yakni guru mengidentifikasi bakat siswa melalui proses kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Kedua, assessment yakni guru memberikan latihan atau tes secara langsung kepada siswa untuk mempraktikkan bakat yang dimiliki serta menggali informasi tentang bakat siswa. Ketiga, pendampingan yaitu guru melakukan pendampingan kepada siswa dengan memberikan latihan secara kontiniu. Keempat, pelatihan. sekolah mengadakan pelatihan khusus untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa sesuai dengan bakatnya masing-masing. Kelima, perlombaan. Siswa yang telah dilatih dan dibimbing kemudian diikutkan dalam berbagai ajang lomba.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti bagaimana melaksanakan manajemen Humas dalam mengoptimalkan penggunaan media digital untuk komunikasi publik di Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Gresik. media digital mempunyai peran penting dalam meningkatkan transparansi, keefektivtas, dan keterlibatan masyarakat. Artikel ini membahas bagaimana dinas tersebut menggunakan berbagai platform digital sebagai alat untuk komunikasi dengan publik serta meningkatkan citra dan pelayanan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media digital, meskipun belum optimal, Namun media digital memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi publik di Dinas Pendidikan, terutama dengan pengelolaan yang lebih terstruktur dan peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the decentralization policy of the national education system and its impact on madrasah education. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach. Data sources are obtained through a literature study relevant to the impact of implementing the decentralization policy of the national education system. The study addresses several issues, including: 1) the decentralization of the national education system; and 2) the impact of decentralization on madrasah education. Data collection techniques involve a systematic literature search related to education decentralization policy based on systematic inclusion and exclusion criteria, as well as data organization based on themes. Data analysis is conducted through reading and marking, thematic analysis, and synthesis. This research shows that the decentralization of the national education system aims to grant local governments the authority to manage and develop an education system that aligns with the needs, characteristics, and challenges of the local community. However, in its implementation, decentralization faces various challenges, particularly in the context of madrasah education. Madrasahs often experience budget, infrastructure, and resource gaps compared to public schools, which affect the quality of education in madrasahs.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the leadership of the administrative head in managing archives at the Gresik Regency Education Office. The main problem faced is a lack of orderly records management due to the lack of special storage areas, limited human resources and networks in electronic systems, as well as the absence of special personnel to handle records. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, with data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the head of administration at the Gresik Education Service is in charge of planning, implementing, providing and reporting general administrative tasks as well as managing office equipment, including the provision, maintenance of facilities, personnel administration and archive management. Archives management includes the process of creating, storing and retrieving archives, both manually and digitally. Even though there have been digitalization efforts, improving archives management is still needed, especially in providing facilities such as archive houses or storage areas in each field, system development, as well as increasing human resources through training or socialization about archive management.

Abstract

Pemulihan minat baca mahasiswa pasca pandemi covid-19 memerlukan strategi yang serius agar tujuan pendidikan tetap dapat tercapai secara optimal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan ilmu manajemen perpustakaan dan analisis data kualitatif. Berdasarkan data lapangan bahwa perbandingan tingkat kunjungan ke perpustakaan sebelum dan sesudah pandemi Covid-19 di Universitas Muhammadiyah, Universitas Andi Sudirman, dan Akademi Keperawatan Batari Toja, jumlah pengunjungnya rata-rata per hari belum melampaui jumlah pengunjung pada saat sebelum Covid-19. Upaya yang telah dilakukan untuk merestorasi minat baca mahasiswa di Universitas Muhammadiyah dengan cara melakukan promosi perpustakaan berbasis digital. Perpustakaan Universitas Andi Sudirman dengan cara sosialisasi, membuat slogan-slogan mengenai pentingnya membaca, dan meningkatkan fasilitas di perpustakaan. Perpustakaan Akademi Keperawatan Batari Toja dengan cara melakukan kerjasama dengan para dosen agar mahasiswa diberikan tugas membaca dan mencari rujukan dari perpustakaan. Strategi yang dapat digunakan untuk merestorasi minat baca mahasiswa di Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi Pasca Pandemi Covid-19 adalah melakukan promosi perpustakaan dengan memperkenalkan beberapa aplikasi perpustakaan dan bekerjasama dengan dosen pengampuh matakuliah untuk memberi tugas ke perpustakaan dalam mencari bahan bacaan, serta menambah koleksi terbaru untuk pemustaka termasuk e-book, repository dan memperkenalkan juga perangkat yang di miliki Perpusnas seperti IOS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui urgensi manajemen penjaminan mutu (quality assurance) dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap sekolah di SMP Negeri 3 Tellu Siattinge. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penulis adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penjaminan mutu(quality assurance) di SMP Negeri 3 Tellu Siattinge yaitu berdasarkan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP), dalam menjamin mutu sekolah SMP Negeri 3 tellu siattinge berupaya memenuhi serta melampaui standar nasional pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan. Adapun manajemen penjaminan mutu dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap sekolah di SMP Negeri 3 Tellu Siattinge dilakukan dengan menggunakan langkah PDCA. Plan, yaitu kegiatan menetapkan standar mutu serta tujuan yang ingin dicapai, Do yaitu melaksanakan apa yang direncanakan sebelumnya, kemudian check yaitu melakukan evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan pemenuhan standar yang telah ditetapkan, kemudian langkah terakhir yaitu melakukan tindak lanjut (action) terhadap evaluasi yang telah dilakukan jika standar yang ditetapkan belum tercapai.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of classroom management on student learning activity. The purpose of this study is: to find out the role of classroom management in MA DDI Maspul, to find out the learning activity of students at MA DDI Maspul and the role of classroom management on student learning activity at MA DDI Maspul. The author uses qualitative research methods (Qualitative Research) through a management and sociological approach, the data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and documentation taken from primary and secondary data sources. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing as well as data verification. The results of the study show that 1) The role of classroom management in MA DDI Maspul has been running as it should, starting from class planning, classroom management, classroom leadership and classroom control. 2) the student's learning activity at MA DDI Maspul has weaknesses in terms of visual activities, oral activities, and listening activities. 3) The role of classroom management in student learning activity at MA DDI Maspul is seen from the classroom management in terms of planning, organizing, leadership and control has a role in activeness.
