Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa dengan pendekatan pembelajaran open ended secara konvensional; perbandingan kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa yang memiliki locus of control internal dengan siswa yang memiliki locus of control eksternal pada pendekatan pembelajaran open-ended maupun pada pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional; ada-tidaknya interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan locus of control yang dimiliki siswa dalam memengaruhi penalaran matematika siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh SMP Negeri Kota Lhokseumawe. Melalui teknik purposive sampling terpilih SMPN 11 dan SMPN 13 sebagai sampel dengan responden sebanyak 135 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan penalaran matematika dan angket locus of control dengan reliabilitas masing-masing sebesar 0,923 dan 0,611. Berdasarkan hasil analisis varians (ANAVA) diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan penalaran pada pendekatan pembelajaran open ended dengan konvensional; terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan penalaran pada kedua jenis locus of control, kemampuan penalaran matematika siswa yang memiliki locus of control internal lebih baik dari locus control eksternal; tidak terdapat interaksi antara pendekatan pembelajaran dengan locus of control yang dimiliki siswa

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kebutuhan materi pengembangan profesionalismeberkelanjutan guru SMK Teknik Audio Video pada semua jenjang jabatan fungsionalguru. Sampel penelitian 63 guru dari 13 SMK penyelenggara konsentrasi keahlian TeknikAudio Video di DIY dan 5 mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika FT-UNY yang telahlulus mata kuliah KKN-PPL sebagai sampel calon guru lulusan perguruan tinggi. Sampeldiambil dengan stratifi ed random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara,observasi, dan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan Rank-Order of Difference Scores.Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. Pertama, secara keseluruhan terdapat perbedaan kebutuhanmateri pengembangan profesionalisme berkelanjutan guru ditinjau dari jabatan fungsionalguru. Kedua, ada empat kesamaan prioritas kebutuhan materi pengembangan profesionalismeberkelanjutan guru untuk semua jenjang jabatan guru, yaitu:  pemahaman karakteristik pesertadidik, penyelenggaraan pembelajaran mendidik, kemitraan, dan pembelajaran keterampilanabad ke-21.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor sosiodemografi, sikap, dan kontekstual terhadap niat berwirausaha siswa SMK di Kabupaten Bantul Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitiannya adalah ex-post facto dengan subjek penelitian 63 siswa yang terdiri atas siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul dan SMK Negeri Sedayu. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara faktor sosiodemografi, sikap, dan kontekstual terhadap niat berwirausaha siswa SMK. Besarnya sumbangan efektif (R2) untuk masing-masing faktor terhadap niat berwirausaha sebesar 22,04% dari faktor sosiodemografi, 19,82% dari faktor sikap, 32,88% dari faktor kontekstual, dan variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini sebesar 25,26%

Abstract

Abstrak Keberadaan computer di sekolah-sekolah maupun di perguruan tinggi belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal untuk keperluan proses belajar mengajar Fisika. Hal tersebut antara lain disebabkan oleh belum tersedianya perangkat lunak dan belum adanya kemampuan dan atu kemauan para pengajar untuk mengembangkan sendiri perangkat lunak pengajaran Fisika berbantuan computer. Tulisan ini menyajikan suatu model pengajaran Fisika berbantuan computer yang dibuat dengan bahasa pemprogramaman Turbo Pascal. Model pembelajaran Fisika yang dikembangkan merupakan pengajaran remidi, karena pengajaran atau program remidi berbantuan computer dapat digunakan untuk menangani masalah yang bersifat individual sesuai dengan kebutuhan remidi masing masing peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaji keberadaan tenaga administrasi sekolah, khususnya terkait dengan kualifikasi dan kompetensi tenaga administrasi sekolah di DIY. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan model discrepancy. Responden penelitian berjumlah 28 orang, terdiri dari 12 kepala SD dan 8 kepala tenaga administrasi SMP dan 8 kepala tenaga administrasi SMA/SMK. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa pertama, Keberadaan tenaga administrasi sekolah pada sekolah-sekolah yang ada di DIY cukup bervariasi. Kedua, pada jenjang SMP maupun SMA/SMK tidak memiliki tenaga administrasi tertentu sesuai ketentuan Permendiknas Nomor 24 tahun 2008. sehingga tugas-tugas yang ada dirangkap oleh petugas yang lain. Ketiga, Kualifikasi pendidikan tenaga administrasi secara keseluruhan sudah mendekati ketentuan Permendiknas Nomor 24 tahun 2008. Keempat, Persyaratan yang pada umumnya belum dapat terpenuhi adalah dimilikinya sertifikat tenaga adminstrasi sekolah, kelima, seluruh jenjang pendidikan memiliki petugas layanan khusus tetapi jumlah dan jenis tugas yang dikerjakan sangat bervariasi. Keenam, Kompetensi tenaga administrasi sekolah secara keseluruhan sudah memadai sesuai ketentuan Permendiknas Nomor 24 tahun 2008

Abstract

Abstract This research is intended to find out (1) scavengers’ needs for self-development based indirectly on the fulfillment of physical needs, the needs for security, social needs, and the needs for self-esteem; (2) the relationship between scavengers’ knowledge about garbage and their needs for self-developments. This is a descriptive research using a causal study method with a sample of 200 persons taken randomly. The subjects of the research were scavengers, i.e. people whose work is to search useful materials among discarded or refused materials/ garbage living in the municipality of Surakarta. Two kinds of instruments were used in this research ; an instrument to reveal the needs for self-development consisting of 40 items (r=0.765), and one to reveal scavengers’ knowledge about garbage consisting of 36 items (r=0.773) and some other supplementary items. The data analyses used were path analysis and simple correlation technique. The results of the research remarked that (1) The needs for self-development was indirectly affected by the fulfillment of physiological needs, the needs of security, social needs, and the needs of self-esteem. This can be seen from the results of path analysis which showed that to reach the needs of self-development, the scavengers have to take some steps hierarchically, i.e. physically needs, the for security, social needs, and the needs of self-esteem. The results of path analysis showed that the coefficients resulted from their paths respectively were higher than those resulted from other paths: X1àX2 = 0.236, X2àX3 0.517, X3àX4= 0.437, and X4àY 0.363 (2)The relationship between  scavengers’ knowledge of garbage and their needs of self-development revealed by using a simple correlation showed the coefficient of correlation of 0.468 at the level of significance of 0.1 Keywords: scavengers’, self-development, self-concept

Abstract

This action research is aimed at (1) improving students 'participation in the class of Horverstehen Ill, (2) improving students' motivation in joining Horverstehen 111, (3) improving  students' positive attitudes to study of Horverstehen Ill, and (4) improving students' achievement in Horverstehen III. The subjects are students of the German Departement FBS UNY who take Horverstehen 111 in academic year 200612007. This studyis carried in the Dreamlab. The study consists of two cycles. First cycle, aimed at improving students' attitudes to participate and share activities during the instructional interaction ofHorverstehen III by interactive self-supporting method. Classes are carried out in systematicly, collectively, collaboratively, reflectively, and critically. The second cycle, executed as according to result of first cycle evaluation, and suggestion of student and collaborator. Monitoring and evaluation through observation, questionnaire, and test, which its result used for the reflection of to action. And is hereinafter used to improve; repair insujjiency so that action more success. The result showed that evaluatedfrom process facet, product facet, and value facet. Process facet marked the existence of academic atmosphere, more motivation, and spirit of doing high duties. Productfacet marked by result of work of student in theform of eight duty of Horverstehen which have been sent to lecturer enamel. Valuefacet marked by the existence of more reached score ofstudent offirst duty till eight duty. As for total score which obtained by student is value of A counted 29,41%, value B (47,05%) and also assess C (23,52%)

Abstract

Abstract This research is trying to improve the quality of learning, reduction of misconceptions, improving of learning activity by using the method of Problem-based Learning in the subject matter of Matematika Teknik. The goal of this research is reducing as well as eradicating the students’ inactiveness in learning, reduction ofmisconceptions followed by theimprovement of learning performance. This research is a classroom action research consisting two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps of activities: planning the action, implementation and observation, reflection and revision. Research conducted to all students participant of Matematika Teknik subject. The data were collected through observation and tests. Data were analyzed descriptively. Result of this research indicate that: (1) Learning model of Problem-Based Learning based on constructivism can reduce the frequency of misconceptions to Matematika Teknik concepts (misconceptions reduced from 87.1%  in pre-test become 41.3% at the post-test), (2) Learning model of Problem-Based Learning base on constructivism can improve students’ leaning activity marked with more and more students participate actively in learning (3) Learning model of Problem-Based Learning base on constructivism can improve learning performance of the students(from 3.3 at pre-test become 7.0 at the time of post-test). Pursuant to result of this research hence require to strive applying of learning model of Problem-Based Learning base on constructivism at broader scope in the effort of improving the quality of learning and education in applying of competence based curriculum. Abstract

This study was aimed at finding out how the relation between understanding of Indonesian national movement history and state nurture attitudes of students of State Senior High School of Gorontalo Municipality. The research hypothesis stated that there was a meaningful relation between understandings of Indonesian national movement history and state nurture attitudes. The study used the descriptive quantitative research method. The population was designated as all students of Year II of State Senior High School of Gorontalo Municipality of the precept year of 2006/2007. The sample consisted of 159 students, 15% of the total population of 1060 students. Sampling was done by way of multi-stage random sampling. Data collection was done by tests and questionnaires using the Likert scale. Data analysis was done using the correlation and regression statistical techniques. Results of the correlation analysis showed that, there was a meaningful positive relation between understandings of Indonesian national movement history and state nature attitudes (r. count = 0,424; t. count = 5,87 t. table = 1,96). Results of the regression analysis showed a coefficient measure of understanding of Indonesian national movement history and state nurture attitudes of F. count = 34, 44 F. table (2,157) = 3,91. The statistical figures showed that there was a horizontal relation between students understanding for Indonesian national movement history and their state nurture attitudes. It was concluded that Indonesian national movement history had a contribution in developing nurture state attitudes.
