Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa banyak guru penjas sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Bantul yang memahami pengertian pendidikan jasmani dan penilaian berbasis kinerja. Untuk menjawab tujuan penelitian tersebut di atas, maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Ada dua tahap yaitu (1) tahap persiapan peneliti menyusun pedoman wawancara berisi pertanyaan- pertanyaan mendasar yang nantinya akan berkembang dalam wawancara, (2) tahap pelaksanaan peneliti membuat kesepakatan dengan subjek mengenai waktu dan tempat untuk melakukan wawancara berdasarkan pedoman yang dibuat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru penjas yang sudah bersertifikasi sekolah dasar Kabupaten Bantul di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif analitik. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: (1) 84% guru penjas sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Bantul kurang paham terhadap pengertian penjas. Hal ini menyebabkan sebagaian besar (80%) guru penjas sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Bantul dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan pengertian penjas tradisional; (2) Sebagian besar guru penjas sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Bantul telah mengetahui dan mengenal penilaian berbasis kinerja, tetapi sebagaian besar (84%) guru penjas kurang paham terhadap pengertian penilaian berbasis kinerja. Abstract

Abstract Learning process is persuasive communication process. The effectiveness of persuasive depends on several factors such as the persuader, message, media, persuade. In learning process, the effectiveness depends on the credibility of the lecturer, quality of the learning material and the quality of media using. These factors could be predictors for the students’ learning achievement. This article is based on the research about the factors that influence the effectiveness of learning communication. Based on the survey research and quantitative data analysis, it was found that the factors, which influence the learning achievement, are the intellectual qualities that have already had by the students and the quality of the teaching materials. The credibility of the lecturers and the quality of the learning media utilizing influence learning achievement are only for the students who have low achievement and low learning motivation in class. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendesksripsikan pengaruh pemilihan butir dengan pengacakan pada algoritma tes adaptif terhadap panjang tes dan estimasi kemampuan peserta tes. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan prosedur simulasi. Bank soal untuk keperluan simulasi menggunakan 250 butir soal terkalibrasi menggunakan model item response theory 3 parameter. Dua desain algoritma tes adaptif, desain algoritma dengan dan tanpa pengacakan dikembangkan. Pada algoritma tes adaptif dengan pengacakan, pengacakan butir dilakukan pada urutan butir kedua dan ketiga, sedangkan pada algoritma tes adaptif tanpa pengacakan, tidak dilakukan pengacakan pada pemilihan butir soal berikutnya yang akan diberikan kepada peserta tes. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik pengacakan tidak berpengaruh terhadap estimasi kemampuan peserta tes (nilai-p=0,306), dan panjang tes (nilai-p=0,328). Berdasarkan hal tersebut desain algoritma dengan pengacakan lebih tepat diterapkan pada algoritma tes adaptif.Tanpa mengurangi tingkat efisiensi dan presisi pengukuran, butir soal pada urutan awal yang diberikan kepada peserta tes lebih bervariasi sehingga dapat meningkatkan keamanan tes

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of clock-wise and counter clock wise tetragonal jump on agility and sprint of senior high school students. The population of this research is male students of the Senior High School 12 Yogyakarta. The sample random sampling technique is utilized to select 75 students as the sample of this study. They are divided into two treatment groups and control groups. The data were analyzed by Anacova at significant level of 5%. This study concludes that the clock-wise tetragonal jump is more effective in increasing agility than counter clock-wise one. However, both clock-wise and counter clock wise tetragonal jump do not have significant effect on sprint. Keywords: tetragonal jump, agility, and sprint

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas kelulusan mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah psikologi olahraga. Selain itu, secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi dan bukti empirik tentang perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi psikologi olahraga antara yang diajar memakai model pembelajaran pemberian tugas sesudah pokok bahasan dan yang diajar memakai model pembelajaran pemberian tugas sebelum pokok bahasan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain post test design. Populasinya mahasiswa prodi PKO yang mengambil mata kuliah psikologi olahraga pada semester pendek tahun 2005. Oleh karena semua populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian, maka teknik pengambilan sampel secara population sampling. Jumlahnya 44 mahasiswa yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok A 25 orang dan kelompok B 19 orang. Penentuan kelompok dengan cara simple random sampling. Hasilnya, kelompok A diberi tugas sebelum tatap muka dan kelompok B diberi tugas sesudah tatap muka. Instrumen pengumpul data adalah (1) tes tengah semester dan (2) tes akhir semester. Uji persyaratan analisis memakai Uji Liliefors dan Uji Barllet. Uji hipotesis memakai uji t, pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi psikologi olahraga antara yang diajar memakai model pembelajaran pemberian tugas sebelum pokok bahasan dan yang diajar memakai model pembelajaran pemberian tugas sesudah pokok bahasan. Artinya, kedua model pembelajaran memiliki dampak yang sama baiknya terhadap pencapaian hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah psikologi olahraga. Namun demikian dianjurkan model pembelajaran dengan pemberian tugas sebelum pokok bahasan diajarkan akan lebih menguntungkan, karena mahasiswa saat kuliah sudah membaca dan memiliki bekal untuk didiskusikan dengan dosen.   Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran, tugas sesudah dan sebelum perkuliahan

Abstract

Abstract The aim of the research is to increase the capability of the lesson by giving additional food. The research has been done at the Terbantam I Sleman elementary School within two cycles. The steps of the action that we have done are: (1) To consult and discuss with the principal and teacher class about the plan that conducted the action research, (2) To communicate class teacher for asking how many students who involve and suggest to do some observation about the situation in the class, (3) To give parents some questionnaires about the daily activities  of students like eating, sleeping, playing, and studying,  (4) Direct correction the students achievement of the lesson, (5) To give additional food (6) To correct the teaching methods of the teachers. Result of research: (1) According to the fifth class of the elementary school at Terbantaman I Sleman did not have the side effect of psysic,eg: diarrhea or vomit. Conversely. This program raising the motivation of student in following the lesson, (2) The student present 99.69% follow the lesson, that mean the category was exellent, (3) The task of home work given by teacher 99.9% was done, (4) And the average of the value of the summative of all the lesson are increase. Abstract

This study was aimed at determining the improvement of the character building and creativity levels of the students through TPR Warm Up Game. The study was action research including the activities of planning, implementation, data collection, and data analysis. The study was conducted in the second semester of the school year 2011/2012. The subjects were teachers and students of Class A of Doa Ibu kindergarten. Data were collected through observation, field notes, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data was verified by triangulation. The data were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative flow model. Results show that there was an improvement in the character building and creativity levels of students after the implementation of the TPR Warm up Game. Improvement was also indicated by creative reactions, longer attention spans, self-confidence/organization, the expression of ideas, development of imagination, and increament of new vocabulary. The success of character building and creativity improvement is also supported by the methods of giving the opportunities for exploration and giving motivation in the form of praisesPENGEMBANGAN KARAKTER DAN KREATIVITAS ANAK USIA DINI MELALUI TOTAL PHYSICAL RESPONSE WARM UP GAMEPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengembangan karakter dan kreativitas anak melalui Total Physical Response (TPR) Warm Up Game. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Kegiatan penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengumpulan data, dan menganalisis data/informasi. Pelaksanaan penelitian direncanakan pada Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2011/2012. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan anak didik kelompok A TK Doa Ibu, Kecamatan Tembalang, Semarang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperiksa dengan triangulasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif model alur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan pengembangan karakter dan kreativitas anak melalui TPR Warm Up Game. Untuk meningkatkan pengembangan karakter dan kreativitas anak melalui TPR Warm Up Game juga didukung oleh beberapa indikator yaitu reaksi kreatif, rentang perhatian yang panjang, pengorganisasian diri/kepercayaan diri, mengaitkan ide atau gagasan/berekspresi, pengembangan imajinasi, dan penambahan kosakata baru. Selain itu, keberhasilan dalam peningkatan pengembangan karakter dan kreativitas juga didukung metode pendukung di antaranya adalah pemberian waktu untuk bereskplorasi dan pemberian motivasi berupa pujian

Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out whether the integrated learning model through the functional approach could improve the students academic achievement in the Histology subject. This action research was done in three cycles during the second semester of the 2007/2008 academic year. Each cycle consisted of four activities: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants of the study were PJKR students of B Group of the Histology class. The research instruments were field notes, practicum worksheets, and tests. Data were analyzed descriptively. Results of the study indicated that: (1) the integrated learning model through the functional approach improved the students academic achievement in the Histology class; and (2) the most effective learning strategies in the Histology class were conducted in three steps: (a) explanation of the three dimension structure before the two dimension structure, (b) laboratory practice focused on identification of Histology specimen through active learning , (c) small group discussion with subject matter informed one week before the class.

Abstract

Abstract This study was aimed at finding out the aptitude profile of the graduates of the Faculty of Engineering of the State University of Yogyakarta. The subjects were the students graduated from the faculty in academic years 1995 up to 2001. The total number of subjects was 1276. The students were classified based on their education background and their entrance selected system. There are two kinds of educational background, namely SMU (general High School) and SMK (Vocational High School) . there are also two kinds of entrance selection system, namely UMPTN (National Entrance Examination) and PBU (Talent Scouting System). The following results have been identified. (1) The mean of the GPA’s of the students of the SMK-PBU group (2.85) is higher than that of the students of the SMU-UMPTN group (2.77). (2) The length of study and the age of student have negative correlation with GPA. (3) All the best ten students of the SMK-PBU group. (4) Of the students in the “skripsi” stream there are more students of the SML group (33%) than the students of the SMU group (31%). Abstract

This study is aimed at developing and applying the logic modelin planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs used in the design of the entrepreneurship-based model of the reinforced life skill vocational learning for home engineering students. The first year of the research and development phases is carried out by means of qualitative and quantitative procedures with observation, interviews, focus group discussions, questionnaires, document reviews, and the data are analyzed by the descriptive qualitative technique. This first year of the study (2009) begins with the analysis of situations, problems, and needs analysis, to obtain data which later are developed into the basis of strengthening the implementation of vocational learning life skills in the second year phases (2010). The results show that students and alumni experienced various problems and have not been competent in entrepreneurship so that they need strengthening vocational life skill-based entrepreneurship. All activities are planned, developed, and evaluated on the basis of system components in the form of the logic model
