Abstract

Abstract: What is an obstacle for Muslims is that they still have a weak understanding of the mathematical structure in the Al-Quran and also in Islamic metaphysics, so that the lack of understanding among Muslims means that the Al-Quran cannot be used properly in creating something related to mathematics in comparison. with Islamic thinkers in the 10th to 20th centuries AD. The aim of this research is to find out and analyze the ways in which Muslims understand mathematical structures in the Koran or metaphysics in spirituality. The research method applied is descriptive qualitative with literature study, where data collection techniques use observation and documentation study. In accordance with the results of existing research, it can be concluded that the way to understand the relationship between the mathematical aspects of the Al-Qur'an and the metaphysical aspects of spirituality, such as studying the interpretation of the Al-Qur'an, the use of kalam science, the study of numerology, analysis of Arabic and semantics, study Islamic philosophy, participation in religious discussions, and modern scientific studies. Abstrak: Yang menjadi kendala bagi umat islam adalah masih lemahnya pemahaman mengenai pemahaman struktur matematika dalam al-quran dan juga di dalam metafisika Islam, sehingga kurang pahamnya umat Islam yang membuat al-quran tidak bisa dimanfaatkan dengan baik dalam menciptakan sesuatu hal yang ebrkaitan dengan matematika jika dibandingkan dengan pemikir Islam di abad 10 hingga abad 20 Masehi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuai dan menganalisa cara yang dilakukan umat islam dalam memahami struktur matematikan dalam al-quran atau metafisika dalam kerohanian. Adapun metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan, dimana teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Sesuai dengan hasil penelitian yang ada, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa cara memahami hubungan antara aspek matematika Al-Qur'an dan aspek metafisik kerohanian, seperti mempelajari tafsir al-qur’an, penggunaan ilmu kalam, pengkajian numerologi, analisis Bahasa arab dan semantik, studi filsafat Islam, partisipasi dalam diskusi keagamaan, dan kajian keilmuan modern. Kata kunci: Struktur matematika dalam al-quran dan metafisika kerohanian.

Abstract

Abstract: The Concept of Repentance According to Imam Al-Ghazali. Humans are inseparable from a mistake that becomes sin, from small and big sins, sins that are willful and unintentional, sins that are born and are inwardly, and sins that are visible and invisible. Therefore, we as humans who are given reason to think and awareness become a desire to return to be close to the Creator. In life in this impermanent world, we often do things that violate the rules of Allah SWT in terms of its prohibitions. In which all of His prohibitions are things that are temporary enjoyment that ultimately cause misery or accidents for the doer. Nobody in this world wants an accident on him, in general they want good safety when they are in a world that wants an accident on him. In general, they want salvation both when they are in this world and in the hereafter. The problem in this research is what is the opinion of Imam al-Ghazali regarding the concept of repentance? The purpose of this research is to explain how the concept of repentance according to Imam al-Ghazali. This research uses library research method. For that in data collection the author uses the documentation method. Meanwhile, in the data analysis method, the researcher conducted a content analysis to explore the authenticity of the text and then descriptive analysis to describe the condition of the research subject based on facts. The conclusion in this study is that repentance according to Imam al-Ghazali is an effort of some heart work. In short, according to the scholars, repentance is to cleanse the heart from sins. Imam al-Ghazali emphasized that worshipers are required to repent for two reasons: First, in order to succeed in obtaining help in order to achieve obedience, because various acts of sin can give birth to bad luck and result in misfortune for the perpetrator. In addition, sinful actions can also hinder our efforts to obey and serve Allah SWT. Keyword: Repentance and Al-Ghazali

Abstract

Abstract: This study  aimed to  describe the  activities  of Islamic  study  groups  in  east  Lubuklinggau   II in implementing Islamic  value.  To describe Islamic  values   to the  Islamic  study groups  , and  to describe the implementation or actualization of Islamic  values  congregation during  informal  Council  in District II East Lubuklinggau.  This research used  qualitative  descriptive approach. In obtaining  the  data,  the  authors used observation, interviews, checklists, and  documentation. The  results  of this research indicated that  during informal  activities  in the  District Assembly  east  Lubuklinggau  II in planting  the  values  of Islam  are:  Islamic Teaching  (pengajian) regularly carried out once a week, comemoration great day in Islam (PHBI), Conducting and Training the dead bodies in Islamic ways, Conducting for reading Al-Barzanji, held a tambourine exercises, visits to orphanages, Islamic Centre  and  visit sick members of the congregation, held holding Tasbih prayer beads, and  tadarus Al-Qur’an. Islamic values  are applied  to the Islamic study groups  in east  Lubuklinggau  II in faith, Islam, charity, piety, sincerity,  trust, gratitude, patience, friendship, brotherhood, equality,  fair, well thought,  humble, a promise, gracefully, trustworthy,  officer, thrift, and kindness. Implementasi or actualizing values  of Islamic  congregation during  informal  Council  in District II East Lubuklinggau  Lubuklinggau  been done  properly,  pilgrims have  solid faith and  piety, the  faith of the  pilgrims have  a good  life and  gave birth to a sincere attitude  in addition  they  also  have  good  morals  in dealing  with  beings  Islam.  In applying  the concept of Islamic values associated with human pilgrims informal gatherings Eastern District of Lubuklinggau II Lubuklinggau  often  stay in touch,  keep  the fraternity (brotherhood Islamiyah),  was  equal  or equal  before God, to be just, kind thought,  humble, just a promise, gracefully, trustworthy,  officers, safe and generous.

Abstract

Abstract: Freedom and Responsibility in Human Earth. Human Earth is a very popular read and has been translated into various foreign languages. However, Earth of Mankind was once banned from publication, because it was considered to contain propaganda for Communist teachings, Marxism-Leninism. This teaching is dangerous because it contradicts the Pancasila ideology This study aims to reveal how the messages in Earth of Mankind relate to freedom and responsibility. This research uses an objective hermeneutic method as an interpretative approach so that this study can objectively reveal the messages of Human Earth. The results of the study reveal that the Human Earth message adds insight into life in reality. Freedom and responsibility must be owned by both parties and the two must work in balance. Like a "dagger" freedom becomes a sharp weapon, a guardian of self-esteem, a provision for solving problems, but it can become a deadly weapon, an introduction to self-death if it is not balanced with the ability to be responsible.Keywords: Human Earth, Freedom, and Responsibility. Abstrak: Kebebasan dan Tanggung Jawab dalam Bumi Manusia. Bumi manusia merupakan bacaan yang sangat diminati dan sudah dialih bahasakan ke dalam berbagai bahasa asing. Namun Bumi Manusia pernah dilarang terbit, karena dianggap berisi propaganda ajaran Komunis, Marxisme-Leninisme. Ajaran ini berbahaya karena bertentangan dengan ideologi Pancasila. Kajian ini bertujuan mengungkap bagaimana pesan-pesan dalam Bumi Manusia terkait kebebasan dan tanggung jawab. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode objektif hermeneutik sebagai pendekatan interpretatif agar kajian ini dapat mengungkap secara objektif pesan-pesan Bumi Manusia. Hasil kajian mengungkap bahwa pesan Bumi Manusia menambah wawasan hidup dalam kenyataan. Kebebasan dan Tanggung Jawab harus dimiliki oleh seserong dan keduanya harus berjalan seimbang. Ibarat “sebilah belati” kebebasan menjadi senjata tajam, penjaga harga diri, bekal menyelesaikan masalah, tetapi  bisa menjadi senjata mematikan, pengantar kematian diri jika tidak diimbangi dengan kemampuan bertanggung jawab.. Kata kunci: Bumi Manusia, Kebebasan, dan Tanggung Jawab.

Abstract: Concepts of Islamic Views Answering Non-Muslim Doubts in Maulana Muhammad Saeed Dehlvi's Isabella Novel. Literary works actually affect the morale of the people. With literature humans learn to see, reflect, and express the good and bad aspects indirectly. In other words, we learn morals without having to learn moral material. Just look at a novel or short story. Fiction prose works like this must contain messages or lessons that the characters will pass through. Through this wisdom we have actually learned morals. We can draw messages in an event. Is not the story of the prophets and apostles are in the form of stories. The difference with fiction is the story of the prophet is real while fiction is imagination. The problem in this research is how is the Concept of Islamic Views Answering Non-Muslim Doubts in the Novel Isabella by Maulana Muhammad Saeed Dehlvi? The purpose of this study is to reveal extrinsic values, especially moral and religious values in this Isabella novel. In this study, researchers used qualitative methods. In this case the researcher tried to observe the messages and knowledge unearthed in the novel Issabela by Maulana Muhammad Saeed Dehlvi with extrinsic analysis. This analysis in particular explores the moral values and religious values in this work. Based on this research it can be concluded that: a). The essence of Islam is monotheism, which is to force God. For the love part of Islam, this is not ignored. However, the value of love should have a parameter or in other words proof. Proof of love for God has been answered through the concept of taqwa in Islam, namely carrying out all his commands and avoiding all his prohibitions. b). Islam criticizes the concept of abb (father) in other religions. Islam itself offers a much better concept of Rabb (Preserver). Where the preserver has infinite power, while the abb concept is only limited to father and son. c) This novel also criticizes the concept of sacrifice in the Non-Muslim religion. Where God sacrificed his innocent child to atone for the sins of mankind. While in the concept of monotheism do not know humans bear the sins of other creatures. d). In the Non-Muslim religion in this novel, he considers some prophets to be sinful creatures. However, this is precisely opposed in Islam. Where all the messengers of God are holy. e). A true forgiving who has high value if he forgives his enemies when he has the strength and opportunity to retaliate. This is what happened to the Prophet. He has a high level of forgiveness. Like after his victory in Mecca, he forgave all his enemies. Unlike the case with God that exists in Non-Muslim religion where he forgives in a critical position. f). The miracle of the Prophet can actually be seen in every generation until the end of the world. The miracle is the Koran where until now the challenge of 1400 years ago to emulate the great quality of the literature has not been matched by anyone. Furthermore, the miracle that still exists today is the accomplishment of the Messenger of Allah who shook the world that no one can match.

Abstract

Abstract: The  purpose of this  study  is to  know  about  the  Making  of Religion  According  Inmates Class  II ACurupRejangLebong. Research conducted qualitative,  with a phenomenological approach. Who became an informant as a data  source is numbered 25 people, comprising leaders of Prison Administration, part spiritual guidance, some prison employees and inmates Penitentiary Class II A CurupRejangLebong the Islamic religion. Then the research data were  analyzed  using analytical techniques deskriftik. In that study, obtained results and findings are as follows: First. About the Making of Religion diseputar meaning of faith in God, the results  show that prisoners in giving meaning of faith in God divides into three categories. First, they interpret that faith in God believe  wholeheartedly that God as the Creator  of all the entities  including  humans in it with a power  that is infinite, man as a weak  creature who must obey and is subject to all the provisions that God ordained, because majbur  human nature  and do not have the resources and efforts, but the resources and efforts of Allah alone. Secondly,  they interpret the faith in God that God is the One who is obligatory to believe  and it is believed that he is Kholik, creator of the almighty, God is only entitled  to assess and reward of heaven for His creatures who do good and give a reward or punishment of hell for His sinful creatures. While the effort caused by humans is a result of the strength born of man himself. Third, they interpret the faith to God by giving portions and capacity are balanced, in the sense that God is the One almighty creator, Supreme penetu everything related to the creation, but humans have the power  to set and give birth usahanyat called by al-kasb, So humans in this understanding is required to make every effort possible  but everything God decide. The second is to search in this study are: the Making of the nature  of God. The results show. First, they make sense that God has the qualities  of his like, has power, Wills, and others,  and nature-Sifaat is attached to the Essence of Allah alone,  and t is different from the properties owned by limited human, either  by time  and  space. Second, they make sense that God would not have  these qualities,  moreover these traits inherent in His Essence, because the  essence of God is One God, so that God has  the  nature  that God is not One.  Implementation from third on the  meaning of faith in God and their characteristics in everyday life in prison Class II ACurup Rejang Lebong. From the data I got, was found as a result, changes and effects are quite good, from the construction and touch religious they earn while in prison,  in behavior  and  religious  practice, proved  the  existence of consciousness to perform  the  five daily prayers,  responsible for the task provided, discipline  in implementing the obligations,  and cooperation among them, although not one hundred percent have at least resulted in changes that lead to increased faith.

Abstract

The life of the modern age has resulted in some human beings engulfed by spiritual emptiness, advances in the field of science, technology and philosophy of rationalism unable to fulfill the basic human need in the aspect of transcendental values, if it is not matched by spiritual planting in the soul, consequently the human soul will become dry and empty, causing problems in life. In this case Sufism appears by bringing a psychotherapist concept to the problems that arise in the soul of modern society. As for the concept of tasawuf which the author offers here is tasawuf Imam Al-Ghazali in Ihya „‟ Ulumiddin. The problems discussed in this research are how the teachings of Sufism of Al-Ghazali, how the problems of modern society, and how tasawuf Al-Ghazali can become psychotherapy for the problems of modern society. This study is a study taken from primary sources namely Ihya „‟ Ulumuddin and other supporting sources. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach with the type of library research study (library research). That is by reviewing the book or primary and secondary sources with regard to the issues discussed, the method of discussion used is descriptive analysis.The result of this study is that the problems of modern society can be grouped into five parts: moral degradation, spiritual emptiness, loss of value and meaning of life, sters and frustration, and loss of self-esteem and future. Therefore, Sufism is indispensable in modern life, because in this era many human beings are starting to leave the spiritual aspects or worship to their God, they are many who began to forget its existence as a servant of God, so there are many problems in life. Psychotherapy given to the problems are: (1) repentance is back to the right path, regret the wrong actions and will not repeat it again, (2) riyadhah and mujahadah is continuously doing the exercises and earnestly to return to Allah, (3) Zuhud is to use the facilities of the world by not defeating the affairs of the Hereafter, (4) Patience is not always impose the will and able to live the provisions of God during life in the world, and (5) tawakkal ie submit all the results of efforts that have done only to God and always prejudiced both of Him.

Abstract

Abstract: The Existence of God According to Said Nursi (Research on a Book of Risalah al-Nur). Philosophically, the existence of God Almighty require evidence which make its existence can be accepted by human. Here, Said Nursi did not interpret the phrase of unity literally, but he explained it clearly. Then the problem is examined in this study, first: how the views of Said Nursi About the Existence of God?, the second: how to prove the existence of God by Said Nursi in the Book of Risalah al-Nur? This type of research is library research, and methods used  in this research is qualitative descriptive. From this research it was discovered that God is a substance in perspective of Nursi Supreme Court which  will not be understood by the human mind. God is also the Supreme Substance plenary that his perfection can not be compared to anything. Nevertheless, for Nursi the grandeur and perfection of God is manifest in every face sheets of the universe,  both at the level of the macrocosm and microcosm, through the  properties, names, and  his deeds. For a proof of God’s existence, Nursi presents four arguments. First, the cosmological argument, that all the diversity in the universe, perfection is relative, the dependence of all creatures, and the uniqueness of each  creation, it shows  a present of Mandatory  Substance Almighty Creator  and the one who created of all things. Second, the ontological argument, it illustrates that good microcosm of the animate and inanimate, everything in nature voiced greatness and unity of God. Third, the teleological argument, the teleological universe,  there  is no order, relevance and harmonious cooperation between each  other with a specific purpose. God as the designer must be present as a source of harmony of the whole  of creation. Fourth, intuitive argument, the central argument of this is the conscience of every human being the most transparent proof of God’s existence.

Abstract

Abstract: This study attempts to understand the eschatological hadiths about the signs of cessation using a structuralism theory approach, this study is very necessary to be studied because in understanding the eschatological hadiths, they are often understood literally without considering the historical and social context at the time the hadith was delivered. This study uses a library research method, namely a type of library research using a descriptive-analytical method, namely describing the structuralism theory and analyzing the eschatological hadiths about the signs of cessation using a structuralism theory approach. The eschatology of the hadith discusses the descent of the Prophet Jesus, the emergence of the Dajjal, the rising of the sun from the west, and the signs of its cessation. In the hadith of the descent of the Prophet Jesus, the redaction is explained as a signifier-signified, langueparole, as well as synchronic and diachronic understanding, with the syntagmatic and paradigmatic role of the Prophet Jesus as a savior. The hadith of the rising of the sun from the west is studied from the redaction, meaning, langue-parole, contextual interpretation, and the paradigmatic syntagmatic structure of the subject-predicate-adverb sentence. The hadith on the appearance of the Dajjal is studied in terms of signifiers, editorial and meaning, langue-parole as a reminder of faith, as well as synchronic diachronic and syntagmatic paradigmatic understanding of the Dajjal as an object.Keywords: Hadith, Eschatology, Structuralism Theory.Abstrak: Penelitian ini berusaha memahami hadis-hadis eskatologi tentang tanda-tamda kiamat dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori strukturalisme, kajian ini sangat perlu dilakukan untuk dikaji karena dalam memahami hadis eskatologi sering dipahami secara literal tanpa mempertimbangkan konteks historis dan sosial pada saat hadis disampaikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan, yaitu jenis penelitian library research dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analisis yakni mendeskripsikan teori strukturalisme serta menganalisis hadis-hadis eskatologi tentang tandatanda kiamat dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori strukturalisme. Hadis eskatologi membahas turunnya Nabi Isa, kemunculan Dajjal, terbitnya matahari dari barat, dan tanda kiamat. Pada hadis turunnya Nabi Isa dianalisis redaksi sebagai signifier-signified, langue-parole, serta pemahaman sinkronik dan diakronik, dengan peran sintagmatik dan paradigmatik Nabi Isa sebagai penyelamat. Hadis terbitnya matahari dari barat ditelaah dari redaksi, makna, langue-parole, interpretasi kontekstual, dan struktur sintagmatik paradigmatik kalimat subjek-predikat-keterangan. Hadis kemunculan Dajjal dikaji dari segi signifier-signified, redaksi dan makna, langue-parole sebagai peringatan keimanan, serta pemahaman sinkronik diakronik dan simbolik sintagmatik paradigmatik Dajjal sebagai objek.Kata kunci: Hadis, Eskatologi, Teori Strukturalisme.

The Friday blessings charity movement has gained popularity and is being actively discussed and practiced by the community some years after the Covid-19 era. The community is competing to carry out Friday blessings charity, which is a manifestation of the community's concern for those in dire need of assistance to fulfill their food needs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Friday Blessing charity activities using an Islamic Theology approach. The research method employed in this study is qualitative descriptive research, namely a literature review. The sources of data include journals and books on Islamic theology. The research findings reveal that the act of giving Friday alms is considered a virtuous deed due to its concern for fellow human beings. According to Islamic theology, those who engage in Friday alms have utilized their intellect to contemplate both good and evil. Furthermore, individuals who participate in the act of giving Friday alms are considered to be believers in their heart, speech, and actions. The community that has engaged in the blessed Friday activities is a community that thinks rationally, similar to the Mu'tazilah and Qadariyah schools of thought.
