Abstract

The color gradation art mentoring program in Mano’an Village aims to enhance children's skills in drawing and coloring using the color gradation technique. According to Jean Piaget’s cognitive development theory, children aged 7 to 11, in the concrete operational stage, can comprehend visual concepts such as gradual color changes. This program is designed to help children in Elementary School (SD) master the color gradation technique using child-friendly media such as watercolor, colored pencils, and crayons. During the program, children are introduced to basic color concepts and trained to apply the gradation technique in their artwork. A coloring competition at the end of the program showed that 70% of participants demonstrated significant improvement in applying the color gradation technique. The program also successfully enhanced children's fine motor skills, creativity, and self-confidence. Collaboration with art teachers and parents ensured that the techniques learned could be continued after the program. The findings of this study show that teaching the color gradation technique not only improves the quality of children's artwork but also contributes to their cognitive and motor development.

Abstract

This community service activity focuses on the discourse of methamphetamine prevention within the framework of youth education and empowerment. The purpose of the program was to provide information about the dangers of methamphetamine abuse and to offer preventive solutions targeting the youth of Tlagah Village, Galis Subdistrict, Bangkalan Regency. The methods used included educational presentations, interactive Q&A sessions, and a final evaluation. Although the program was not based on a research design with a formal hypothesis, it assumed that increasing awareness would lead to behavioral change among youth regarding drug use. The outcomes revealed that participants gained a better understanding of the dangers of methamphetamine and were able to identify preventive measures. This activity contributes to the fields of public health education and community empowerment. The findings highlight the importance of community-based outreach as an effective strategy for drug prevention at the grassroots level.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers have an important role in creating a fun learning atmosphere and stimulating children's cognitive and affective development. One of the skills that PAUD teachers still lack is the ability to create aesthetic and creative learning media, especially in the field of fine arts. This article discusses the results of Community Service (PKM) activities in the form of color gradation technique training aimed at improving the creativity of Sirojut Tholibin Palengaan Pamekasan Kindergarten teachers. The training method uses an experiential learning approach with three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the training showed a significant increase in the understanding of the concept of gradation, the technical ability of teachers in applying color techniques, and the emergence of collaborative initiatives between teachers in creating art-based teaching media. The main findings indicate that aesthetic experience contributes to increasing teachers' self-confidence and self-expression in the learning process. This article contributes to the field of educational psychology, especially in the realm of teacher professionalism development through an art-based approach. The conclusion of this activity emphasizes the importance of direct practice-based training to enrich the competence of creative teachers and shows that fine arts can be an effective reflective medium in PAUD learning. These results are important because they can be used as a basis for developing a sustainable training model that integrates aesthetic, psychological, and pedagogical aspects in a balanced manner.

Abstract

This empowerment program aims to enhance students' awareness and participation in elections through an interactive approach involving talk shows and discussions. The program emphasizes the importance of elections in a democratic society and how students, as agents of change, can actively engage in the political process. Through talk shows with competent speakers such as academics, KPU officials, and democracy activists, as well as group discussions, students are given the opportunity to understand the election procedures, their rights and responsibilities as voters, and the challenges faced in the digital political world. The results show an increase in students' understanding of their political rights and an encouragement to participate in upcoming elections. This program is expected to be an initial step in building a healthier political culture among the youth and strengthening Indonesia's democracy in the future

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of social media managers in educational institutions within Galis Subdistrict to utilize digital media effectively and professionally. The background of this program stems from the limited understanding among education personnel regarding content management strategies, social media algorithms, and digital ethics. The training was conducted through workshops, case study discussions, and direct mentoring. The training materials covered content strategies, branding, digital security, and the use of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. The results indicated an increased understanding of social media management among participants, improvements in content quality, and enhanced digital interaction between educational institutions and the community. Another positive impact was the growing awareness of digital ethics and more targeted communication strategies. This activity serves as a concrete contribution to the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the field of community service.

Abstract

Parenting is one of the key factors that determines a child’s growth and development, particularly in the aspects of self-confidence and talent. Early childhood is considered the golden age of development, which requires optimal stimulation from both parents and educators. This community service program was carried out at PAUD Ash-Shadiqi, Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Ulum, Sumur Tengah, Pamekasan, with the aim of providing parenting strategies based on educational activities to develop children’s potential. The program utilized the momentum of Independence Day celebrations through various creative competitions (coloring, mother-child collaboration, rubber relay, balloon train, and art performances) involving children, teachers, and parents. The results showed that children became more confident to perform, more expressive in showcasing their talents, and developed a sense of sportsmanship. Parents also gained education on the importance of providing support, motivation, and guidance as part of positive parenting.

Abstract

Pendampingan pembentukan komunitas revitalisasi hijau di Desa Tlogoagung, Kecamatan Kedungadem, Kabupaten Bojonegoro menggunakan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) yang menitikberatkan pada pengoptimalan aset lokal sebagai modal utama pemberdayaan masyarakat. Program ini mengintegrasikan potensi sumber daya alam berupa lahan sekitar dan sumber air dari waduk dan ekosistem sekitarnya, aset sosial dari pemuda karang taruna, perangkat desa dan warga, serta aset fisik balai desa sebagai pusat kegiatan dan aset lainnya. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi wawancara appreciative untuk menggali aset sosial dan kultural, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) sebagai wadah partisipasi masyarakat, transect untuk pemetaan kondisi fisik desa, serta analisis sirkulasi keuangan berbasis pendekatan Leaky Bucket guna memahami dinamika ekonomi lokal. Kegiatan inti berupa penanaman 11 pohon tabebuya di lokasi strategis sebagai upaya revitalisasi lingkungan dan media pembelajaran ekologis. Pendekatan komunikasi digital melalui grup WhatsApp memperkuat koordinasi dan monitoring program secara real-time. Hasil monitoring awal menunjukkan tingkat partisipasi aktif yang tinggi serta kondisi fisik pohon yang sehat, menandakan keberhasilan teknis dan sosial program. Pendampingan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis, memperkuat modal sosial, dan membangun kapasitas teknis masyarakat lokal sehingga mendorong terciptanya komunitas yang mandiri, berdaya, dan berkelanjutan. Temuan ini merefleksikan efektivitas pendekatan ABCD dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat desa melalui revitalisasi hijau berbasis aset lokal yang partisiatif.

Abstract

Leadership is a fundamental aspect of pesantren organizational management, particularly in facing the challenges of the VUCA era (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity). These conditions require leaders who are adaptive, visionary, and capable of integrating Islamic values with modern managerial competencies. A leadership training program conducted at PP. Bayt Al-Hikmah Pasuruan was designed to enhance leaders’ capacities through participatory and applicative approaches. The two-day program employed interactive lectures, team-building activities, group discussions, role-play simulations, and question-and-answer sessions. The results revealed a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of visionary leadership, communication skills, decision-making abilities, and adaptability to organizational changes. Beyond the individual impact, the program also strengthened pesantren governance, encouraged collaborative leadership practices, and fostered synergy between higher education institutions and the community. Thus, this training contributes not only to developing pesantren leaders’ competencies but also serves as a model of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi implementation that can be replicated in similar institutions.

Abstract

This article explores the potential and challenges of developing milkfish-based enterprises in Pliwetan Village, Palang District, Tuban Regency. Local communities adaptively utilize fishpond land in response to climate variability, positioning milkfish as a strategic alternative when salt production is not feasible. Milkfish has emerged as a leading local commodity due to its distinctive flavor, high meat yield, and potential for value-added processing. However, farmers still face limited market access, dependency on middlemen, weak institutional support, and inadequate processing facilities. These constraints result in price fluctuations and low bargaining power. The article highlights the urgency of diversifying distribution channels through cooperatives, digital marketing, and active involvement of women in the value chain. Institutional strengthening and continuous training are essential to foster innovative processed products, enhance production capacity, and expand market access. With integrative strategies, milkfish has the potential to become a foundation for sustainable local economic empowerment and competitiveness at regional and national levels.

Abstract

Metode konvensional yang digunakan guru mengakibatkan rendahnya pemahaman konsep geometri dan penjumlahan dasar pada siswa kelas 1 Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Perlu adanya inovasi dalam strategi dan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif siswa. Salah satu alternatif yang menarik adalah pemanfaatan worksheet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep geometri dan penjumlahan dasar melalui pemanfaatan worksheet matematika yang menyenangkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan worksheet bervisual menarik berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa dari 45% menjadi 85%. Pemahaman konsep geometri mencapai 80% dan penjumlahan dasar 75%, ditandai dengan kemampuan siswa mengidentifikasi bangun datar dan menggunakan strategi visual dalam berhitung. Simpulan penelitian membuktikan bahwa worksheet matematika efektif menciptakan pembelajaran bermakna sekaligus mengembangkan kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan computational thinking. Keberhasilan ini menegaskan bahwa inovasi sederhana berbasis worksheet dapat menjadi solusi pembelajaran matematika di tingkat dasar.
