Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of location on the decision to choose PT Caraka Sakti Utama Security Guard School in Subang Regency. The research was motivated by the increasing competition among security guard education and training institutions and the inconsistent findings of previous studies regarding the influence of location on institutional selection decisions. A quantitative approach with descriptive and verificative methods was employed. The population consisted of 3,542 security guard training participants, while the sample comprised 97 respondents selected using proportionate stratified random sampling based on the Slovin formula with a 5% margin of error. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics. The findings indicate that both the location variable and the decision to choose variable were categorized as very good, with average index scores of 4.48 and 4.43, respectively. Regression analysis produced the equation Y = 9.093 + 0.859X with a significance value of 0.000, confirming that location has a positive and significant effect on the decision to choose the institution. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.527 shows that location explains 52.7% of the variation in selection decisions, while the remaining 47.3% is influenced by other factors. These findings highlight the importance of accessibility, visibility, traffic conditions, parking facilities, and the surrounding environment in attracting prospective participants.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of training, motivation, and work environment on employee performance at the Regional Revenue Agency (BAPENDA) of Jember Regency. The background of this research is based on the low achievement of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) targets, gaps in training implementation that have not been based on specific needs, variations in employee motivation, and work environment conditions that are not yet fully optimal. This study employs a quantitative approach. The population and sample consisted of all 125 employees of BAPENDA Jember Regency, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS program. The results indicate that training has no significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 1.099, regression coefficient β = 0.063, and sig. 0.274 > 0.05; motivation has no significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of −0.664, regression coefficient β = −0.036, and sig. 0.508 > 0.05; work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 8.939, regression coefficient β = 0.677, and sig. < 0.001. Simultaneously, the three variables explain 57.3% of the variation in employee performance (R² = 0.573), with the remaining 42.7% explained by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

The increasing competition in the e-commerce industry has encouraged companies to improve service quality standards and marketing strategies to achieve customer satisfaction, particularly among Generation Z, who represent one of the most active groups of online shopping platform users. This study aims to examine the effect of service quality and promotional activities on customer satisfaction among Generation Z Shopee users in Sukmajaya Subdistrict, Depok. A quantitative approach was employed using a purposive sampling technique involving 96 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that both service quality and promotion have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, both individually and simultaneously. Service quality was found to have a greater influence than promotion in improving customer satisfaction. These findings suggest that enhancing service quality, supported by attractive promotional activities, can increase customer satisfaction in using the Shopee application. The practical implications of this study provide recommendations for Shopee to place greater emphasis on improving service quality and developing more effective promotional strategies to further enhance customer satisfaction, particularly among Generation Z users. Therefore, service quality and promotion are essential factors that should be managed continuously to improve customer satisfaction.

A quantitative research approach with a survey method was employed. Data were collected through Google Forms distributed to eligible Fore Coffee customers, while respondents' perceptions were measured using a Likert scale. A total of 180 respondents were selected through purposive sampling. The collected data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique with SmartPLS software. The findings reveal that perceived value, emotional attachment, and word of mouth each have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Furthermore, these three variables simultaneously contribute to strengthening customer loyalty toward Fore Coffee in Medan Baru District. Reliability testing also indicates that all constructs satisfy the recommended criteria, with Composite Reliability values exceeding 0.70 and Cronbach's Alpha values above 0.60. Therefore, the research instrument is considered reliable, and the proposed model is appropriate for explaining customer loyalty in the context of this study.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of content marketing, influencer marketing, and electronic word of mouth (e-wom) on purchasing decisions for Glad2Glow products on TikTok Shop among Generation Z in Bekasi Regency. This is a quantitative study using a sample of 108 respondents obtained through non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results of the partial t-test indicate that content marketing has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (t-count 3.557 > t-table 1.983), influencer marketing has a positive and significant effect (t-count 3.086 > t-table 1.983), and electronic word of mouth has a positive and significant effect (t-count 3.807 > t-table 1.983). The simultaneous F-test shows that content marketing, influencer marketing, and electronic word of mouth jointly have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with an F-count of 41.506 greater than the F-table of 2.69, and an adjusted R² of 0.532, indicating that the three independent variables explain 53.2% of the variation in purchasing decisions. These findings imply that beauty brands marketed through social commerce platforms need to simultaneously strengthen informative content, credible influencer collaboration, and positive consumer reviews to drive purchasing decisions among Generation Z consumers.

Abstract

A company's success is largely determined by employee performance. This study examines the influence of job satisfaction and work motivation on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously, among employees at PT Berkat Nirwana Teknik in Tangerang Regency. A quantitative associative approach was applied to 50 employees using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 27 through multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results show that job satisfaction does not have a statistically significant partial effect on employee performance (t = 1.521; sig. = 0.135), whereas work motivation has a positive and significant partial effect (t = 7.060; sig. = 0.001). Simultaneously, job satisfaction and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance (F = 94.302; sig. = 0.001), with a coefficient of determination of 80.1%. These findings indicate that work motivation plays a more prominent role in improving employee performance, while job satisfaction remains an important supporting factor for long-term performance. Therefore, company management is encouraged to strengthen work motivation programs while maintaining efforts to support employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the variability in the financial performance of companies in Indonesia's automotive and component sub-sector and the inconsistent findings of previous studies regarding the effects of Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on Return on Assets (ROA), creating a theoretical gap that warrants further examination. This study aims to analyze and determine the partial and simultaneous effects of CR and DER on ROA in automotive and component sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2022–2025 period. A quantitative approach was applied using secondary data obtained from annual financial reports. The sample was determined through purposive sampling, resulting in 10 companies with 40 observations over four years. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, preceded by classical assumption tests, followed by t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that CR and DER each have a positive and significant partial effect on ROA. Simultaneously, CR and DER have a significant effect on ROA, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 41.6%, while the remaining 58.4% is explained by other factors outside the research model.
