Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of employee job satisfaction in the fast food restaurant industry, which continues to experience rapid growth and increasingly intense competition. Job satisfaction is a crucial factor that influences productivity, loyalty, and overall performance. This study aims to analyze the level of employee job satisfaction based on physical work environment, non-physical work environment, and compensation at Burger King restaurants using a non-statistical descriptive quantitative approach. The theoretical foundation used is Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory, which distinguishes between motivator factors and hygiene factors as determinants of job satisfaction, with this study focusing on hygiene factors that can prevent employee job dissatisfaction. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire using the Likert scale method, distributed to 55 employees as respondents. Data analysis employed calculations of actual scores and ideal scores, which were then converted into percentages of satisfaction levels based on established assessment categories. The results showed that the physical work environment obtained a percentage of 91.78%, the non-physical work environment obtained 91.05%, and compensation obtained 89.09%, all of which fall under the very high category. Overall, the level of employee job satisfaction reached a percentage of 89.45% with a very high category. The conclusion of this study indicates that the work environment conditions and compensation system implemented at Burger King restaurants have been able to provide excellent job satisfaction for their employees.

Abstract

Work effectiveness is an important factor in supporting the achievement of organizational goals. In the Account Payable division, work effectiveness is related to employees' ability to complete their tasks according to established targets, quality standards, and deadlines. This study aims to examine the effects of employee performance and work discipline on the work effectiveness of Account Payable employees at PT Amanat Perkasa Speed. This study employed a quantitative method using 101 observations of the company's operational secondary data. Employee performance and work discipline were used as the independent variables, while work effectiveness was the dependent variable. The data were analyzed using SPSS through classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that employee performance and work discipline have positive and significant effects on work effectiveness, with significance values of 0.000. Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect work effectiveness, with an F-value of 68.017 and a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination of 0.581 indicates that employee performance and work discipline explain 58.1% of the variation in work effectiveness.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and social media has fostered new forms of consumption behavior, particularly through social commerce platforms such as TikTok Shop. This study aims to examine the influence of online reviews and influencer endorsements on the purchase intention of Generation Z consumers in Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected via questionnaires from Gen Z respondents who actively use TikTok Shop, utilizing a purposive sampling technique based on specific criteria. The three primary variables investigated are online reviews (exogenous variable), influencer endorsements (endogenous variable), and purchase intention (mediating variable). Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method via SmartPLS 3.0 software. The study is expected to demonstrate significant relationships between consumer reviews, influencer endorsements, and Gen Z purchase intentions, both individually and simultaneously. These findings are anticipated to contribute theoretically to digital marketing literature and offer practical implications for effective marketing communication strategies in the social commerce era.

Abstract

Event success can be reflected in the number of visitors when an event is organized effectively and professionally. Visit decisions may be influenced by social media promotion and brand image. Social media promotion enables digital marketing, information exchange, relationship building, and community development, while brand image represents perceptions, beliefs, impressions, and associations formed toward a brand. This study aims to determine the effects of social media promotion and brand image on visit decisions at the Smartfren Run Medan 2026 Event organized by IndoPro Event Services. Data were collected through an online questionnaire from 91 respondents aged 17 years and above who had attended the event. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula. The research instrument was valid and reliable, and data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the data were normally distributed, with no multicollinearity or heteroscedasticity. Social media promotion and brand image had positive and significant effects, both partially and simultaneously, on visit decisions. Social media promotion obtained a significance value of 0.000, while brand image obtained 0.001. Social media promotion covering content creation, content distribution, relationship building, and community building, as well as brand image involving the organizer, product, and user images, contributed to increasing visit decisions. Simultaneously, the F-test produced a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). These findings indicate that strengthening social media promotion and brand image can increase audience interest in attending events.

Abstract

This study examines the extent to which Word of Mouth, Product Quality, along with Price influence consumers’ Purchase Decisions at Toko Indra Jaya, a grocery store serving daily necessities in Pasar Palmeriam, East Jakarta. A quantitative associative design was implemented. Primary data were gathered from 126 customers who had transacted at the store using a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed through purposive sampling, with the minimum sample size determined by the Lemeshow formula. Data were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4. Nine indicators with loading factors below 0.70 were excluded from the model, while the remaining indicators in the measurement model were confirmed to be valid and reliable. Within the structural model, Word of Mouth and Price each demonstrated an effect that is positive and significant on Purchase Decisions (T-statistics of 10.466 and 7.580, respectively, with P-values of 0.000), whereas Product Quality resulted in an effect that is positive but statistically non-significant (T-statistic = 1.869; P-value = 0.062). Collectively, the three variables explained 96.2% of the variance in Purchase Decisions, thereby supporting Hypotheses 1 and 3 while rejecting Hypothesis 2. These findings suggest that Toko Indra Jaya should continue strengthening Word of Mouth through improved shopping experiences, maintain an appropriate balance between price and perceived benefit, and preserve product quality to sustain consumer trust, notwithstanding the statistically non-significant effect of product quality on purchase decisions found in this study.

Abstract

An increasingly dynamic organizational environment has made organizational culture and human resource development two strategic elements in enhancing competencies, work behavior, and organizational effectiveness. This study aims to systematically analyze the relationship between organizational culture and human resource development, identify the mechanisms that bridge the two, and map their impact on competencies, human capital, engagement, organizational citizenship behavior, and performance. This study employed a systematic literature review approach, utilizing 30 relevant scientific references as the basis for the analysis and synthesizing the characteristics of the publications, methodological approaches, and key findings. The study’s findings indicate that organizational culture serves as a context of values, norms, support, and learning that influences the effectiveness of the human resource development process, while human resource development strengthens individual capacity by enhancing knowledge, skills, competencies, and adaptive abilities. The relationship between the two is not always direct or uniform, but is influenced by factors such as learning culture, organizational support, leadership, knowledge management, and sector characteristics. This study makes a conceptual contribution by positioning organizational culture and human resource development as two mutually integrated elements in shaping individual and organizational outcomes, and offers practical implications for developing human resource strategies that are more aligned with the organization’s values, learning, and needs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and brand image on customer satisfaction at CV. Green Water Bekasi, a drinking water provider. The study employed a quantitative approach involving 33 customers as respondents. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 27 through instrument quality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, partial tests, simultaneous tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (t = 3.176; p = 0.001). Brand image also has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction (t = 3.136; p = 0.004). Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect customer satisfaction (F = 30.438; p < 0.05). The Adjusted R Square value of 0.670 indicates that both variables explain 67.0% of the variation in customer satisfaction, while the remaining 33.0% is attributable to other factors. These findings emphasize the importance of maintaining consistent product quality and strengthening brand image to sustainably improve customer satisfaction.
